Dr. Ruan and her excellent staff provide the highest level of professional, caring,"eye care" anyone could possibly ask for. I have been a patient of Dr. Ruans for sevral years. She has not only provided me with timely routine examinations but also referrals for serious procedures. My daughter and I have benefitted greatly by the wide range of services provided by this fine facility. If you are a client of thiers, you cannot help but feel "at home" each time you arrive at their waiting area. You will always be greated by a friendly and helpful staff and that "treatment" will continue as long as you are there. Dr. Ruan not only carefully explains the findings of your exam in ways easy to understand but she also takes whatever time is neccessary to make sure all of your questions have been answered. As the leader of this group of professional assistants, Dr. Ruan also strives to stay in touch and apply any new research findings, or improvements in the field of eye care so you are always getting the best treatments at the time.

I loved the knowledge Dr Ruthie had. Changing my style of contact . Relieved a reoccurring headache for this I am grateful and will recommend this office . I don’t like that I called numerous times inquiring about cost of visit and cost of contacts to be prepared at said visit. Then squeezed for $500 at time of check out . Not only was I on my lunch break , there was a whole room of people listing to the shake down. I handled it with a since of humor. Other people may not feel the same way. I understand that most people Probly have insurance . But I pay cash and have expressed in my previous inquiries how important it was for me to be financially prepared .

Took 2 hours for my appointment, my vision is still blurry. Feel like they didn’t measure my contacts correctly and my vision. I told the assistant and the optometrist twice but they just said to wait a few days for it to adjust. I’ve worn contacts before, they do not feel right.

Dr. Ruan has been treating my dry eyes. She placed collagen plugs in the punctums on the last visit. I never had this done before and I was nervous. Dr. Ruan was incredibly fast and gentle. I had zero discomfort and it took less than 5 minutes for her to finish both eyes. Thank you for your excellent professionalism. Patients, don’t worry beforehand if you are getting this done. She’s a pro!

We've been looking & calling for a clinic that could accomodate us quickly & a friend recommend them to us, she was right, they didn't disappoint. We were seen within a week from appointment and was greeted with friendly staff, the process was quick and were seen within minutes, tested & check. Everyone was extremely nice and efficient. I wish they had been more open on pricing. I ended up paying 123.00 and was expecting maybe $40 being that I have amazing insurance. The man at the end that checks u out is extremely short and talks so fast u miss half of what he says. Not sure id recommend this place sadly :(

Circle of Life Eyecare is a great place and Dr. Ruan is awesome. I needed to book an emergency eye care visit, but it was a Saturday so most places were closed, but Circle of Life is open Saturdays and I was able to book an appointment online for that morning. It was really easy to book the appointment and everyone was really caring and helpful when I got there.

I somehow scratched my cornea during the night and woke up in pain. Walked in the clinic without an appointment the minute they opened. I was seen and treated immediately. They put a contact in my eye as a bandaid and the pain was instantly alleviated. I’ve used this office for obtaining and filling prescriptions and for styes as well. All were diagnosed and treated quickly and with optimal results. I definitely recommend Dr. Ruthie Ruan.

Just moved to this part of OKC and luckily found Circle of Life. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Every time we go to a new doctor for the first time, it's just different. Sometimes that is the only way to describe it. I have not complaints, as all is going well. Everyone is courteous and seems very competent. As you can probably tell, surveys are not my thing.

I didn't have to wait, they took me right in and started testing. The testing was done quickly and efficiently, and then Dr. Ruan came in to look at my eyes. She immediately determined that my blurry vision was due to scar tissue from my ol cataracts surgery. Within minutes she took me to another room and used a laser to remove the scar tissue from my right eyes, and now I can see out of that eye like I could when the surgery was first done. She will do my other eye Friday. It was such a relief to find the solution to my poor vision was so easily taken care of.

Love Dr. Ruan and the staff at Circle of Life Eyecare Center. For years, I had suffered with red, painful, bloodshot eyes that I thought were eye allergies. After testing, Dr. Ruan diagnosed me with dry eyes and prescribed supplements and temporary tear duct plugs. I have a new lease on life as I started feeling better within 1-2 weeks of starting the supplements and tear duct plugs. I highly recommend going here for all your eyecare needs.

I've been a patient here for at least 5 years and not only is the staff always friendly but the same which is nice. The exam is the usual but thorough if necessary to address your individual case. They know my insurance so when I need something they tell me how much the cost is to me and I like the selection of frames they have. Wait time is not bad either.

Dr. Ruan and her office are run in a very professional and friendly manner. There's no doubt as to the quality of Dr. Ruan's treatment and diagnosis. She performs a thorough examination following which she takes the time to review her findings with her patients. Then she makes certain that the patient understands the results and goes over her treatment plan, giving plenty of time for the patient to ask questions. Appointment are easily and quickly made and the office is readily accessible with plenty of parking. Finally, in this time of the virus, the office, examination rooms and personnel are all aware of and utilize sterile techniques for all concerned. Thank yo Dr. Ruan.

Had to wait about 25 minutes after initial testing was completed. Also was not informed of required full payment at the time of appointment.Appreciated the efforts to maintain clean safe environment. The alcohol fumes were overpowering however! Need to look at other options or allow more time for the alcohol to dry before having patients use the equipment.

I’m from out of town and I was in a bind when my only pair of glasses broke because I didn’t have a back up pair or contact lens’. Circle of Life Eye Care and Dr. Ruan were quick to be accommodating. They saw me on the same day my glasses broke, provided an eye exam and contact lens fitting, and gave me a trial pair of contacts to hold me over until I got home. The staff of Circle of Life of Eye Care were kind and helpful.

Dr. Ruan and her staff take the time to listen to what you want and present recommendations and options following the exam. Dr Ruan is an excellent doctor who first discovered early-stage cataracts in my eyes. Her staff is always capable, extremely courteous and helpful. I had came in before making appointment. I was told it would be 20 a piece for eye exam. When you do extra stuff please let patients know.

This is the second year I have used you. The first year you got my script and progressive spot on. I went in this year and specifically told the Dr. and the girl that checked me out that I wanted the same progressive as the previous year. I called after getting my new glasses within a few days to ask if this was in fact the same progressive, which is what I requested, and they said NO. I had to bring my glasses back in again to have the correct ones put in. I go get my new ones and again, I try to wear them as much as possible and every time I look at the floor, I get dizzy and nauseous. I've called up there and spoken to her guys that work for her several times and was told to keep trying. If that did not work, to come in and they would make this right. So i go up there yet a third time just to be told to wait in a room for the doc...which by the way didn't even find it necessary to come talk to me or re-examine my eyes again. And there was no one in the waiting room at the time, the place was empty. She literally does her eye exam in about 5 minutes, so what would another five minutes out of her life been to her...But to keep wearing them and focus on a spot to try not to be dizzy....seriously??? What a joke. I told Ben when I was in there that in order for me to see out of them I had to tuck my chin to my chest. Do you really think I can walk around like that all day? I was then informed that if they had to change where my bifocal line was, because that's what Ben thought was the problem, that it would cost me money to have them redone as they only do this one time at no charge. Well, the first time they had to redo them was NOT ON ME BUT ON THE DOCTOR AND THE CHECK OUT GIRL. I WANTED THE SAME PROGRESSIVE AS THE PREVIOUS YEAR WHICH SHE SAID SHE GAVE ME!!!! So how is that MY FAULT? So now I own a pair of almost $400.00 glasses that I can't use. I will not return and you have removed my review from several places. But now you want to know how I feel

New patient. Super easy to do the new patient forms online. I was taken in at exactly my appointment time. Dr Ruthie was very professional and thorough. I use VSP Premier and I still had to pay $276 for up charges to get progressives and thin lenses.

10 star so far i was in and out lovely staff and she even help find the correct lenses for fitting i was in and out in no time appointment was at 11:00 i arrived at 11:15 with a wait and still got out at 12: 05 to finish my day and that was on a Saturday co payment was 10.00 and they even had rebates for boxes of contact with a yearly supply the drive was a distance but it was all worth it

Dr. Ruan discusses any issues you may have and explains what causes them and how they can be treated. She is professional and easy to understand. She also does not prescribe glasses unless they are necessary. Her assistant has a way of making you feel welcome and comfortable and has a great sense of humor. They also have a great selection of frames with several designer frames as well. I will continue seeing Dr. Ruan as needed.

I recently experienced my first appointment with Dr. Ruan and her staff members Ben and Chelsea. First the process of setting my appointment was so quick and easy with a few questions over the phone and fill out a registration form on their website. They were able to get me in the very next day so no waiting! They were so welcoming when I arrived and the ambiance of the office was very inviting and well organized. Ben prepped me for my exam with Dr. Ruan and he was very down to earth and kind! Dr. Ruan arrived and it was more of the same pleasant vibes! They are very efficient and accurate. I was actually surprised when it was time to end my visit :-)
