My son loves going to Rocky Mountain Pediatric Dentistry! Dr Z has a great relationship with her patients and takes the time to make sure my son is comfortable and answers any questions I have. The staff of friendly and efficient and I can’t imagine going anywhere else for dental care for my son. Thank you guys for being great at what you do!

We love this office and have been patients there for 6 years. They are so patient and kind with the kids and are great at keeping the kids calm and distracted. My daughter is as quite scared this last time but they were amazing with her and she was happy at the end.

I picked RMPD because they had good reviews and were on a recommended list from my son's Pediatrician, so I had high hopes and expectations. But I was disappointed from the get-go. The waiting room had absolutely ZERO things for kids to do -- all the magazines were car/truck and HGTV; nothing for kids. They were running 25 minutes behind and I had to show up 15 minutes early....so for 40 minutes I had to keep a 2 year old occupied with absolutely nothing in the room for him to look at or play with. (Except for a broken cupboard which just meant I had to keep saying "no no.") When we finally got called in, the tech/hygienist only spoke to me rather than talking to my son and including him. Here I had prepped him for his first dentist visit and got him excited, and they didn't even talk to him or tell him what they were going to do. The Dentist was a little bit better and she spoke directly to my son....but overall I didn't feel like the staff was friendly. It was a huge disappointment and I'm not sure I'll be coming back.

What a wonderful office! Everyone is so friendly, helpful, and excellent with kids. My son is shy and kinda tough to handle, but everyone he’s interacted with at Rocky Mountain Pediatric Dentistry has been so patient and wonderful. 10/10 every time.

I absolutely love this dentist office. The nurse was very very good with my son. She made the visit fun right from the start and my son immediately trusted her which never happens. The dentist was nice as well and was also very good with him. So glad we switched to this place! :)

We just finished going through treatment with an expander. My child has a lot of anxiety about the dentist because of a very bad experience with her previous dentist. It is amazing how the doctors and staff at RMPD make her feel comfortable, answer all her questions, and calm her anxiety about what is happening at each visit. It truly is amazing!

We had an absolutely incredible experience. My daughter was a week old when her pediatrician recommended seeing a dentist since she was losing weight and struggling to nurse. They got us in the next day to fix a thick lip and tongue tie. They were all so caring

Great dentists and the assistant who took my daughter’s x-rays was nice and knew how to make my daughter comfortable so that she would cooperate and allow most of the necessary x-rays to be taken, but it would be helpful for the rest of the office staff to know how to work with kids who are very shy, scared, or just not responding to being asked to do something. A little creativity and flexibility can go a long way when trying to get little ones to do something!

I would not take my daughter any where else. She had 8 crowns and 3 child root canals. She was in and out of surgery within a hour. I was nervous about putting her under, but the anesthesiologist was awesome and comforting. The dentists are the best with children.

Everyone is always so nice and patient with my son. He is 3 and isn't very cooperative when he goes in but they take their time with him and get everything done without rushing him. Very impressed with everyone that works in the woodman office!! Thank you!!

Amazing, we came here after my kiddos daycare recommended them and we couldn't be happier. The staff was great, very patient with my excited 5 year old (who loves to ask tons of questions about everything) and really took the time to explain everything. Very pleased!

We had such an amazing experience with our first dental appointment. It was great, as usual but I am not sure why my son was bleeding so much from having his teeth scraped. A little is understandable, it happens— but it looked like his gums were getting removed and not the build up off of his teeth. :-(

My 10 year old loves going to the dentist; we’ve been going here since he was 2. Such sweet, knowledgeable hygienists and dentists. The token and toys and treats at the end certainly don’t hurt! :)

The staff at the Woodmen clinic are so friendly, welcoming and understanding, especially when dealing with toddlers. I love bringing my children here!! The dentist takes the time to discuss concerns with me.

After patronizing a few of the huge, impersonal, kid-factory practices, this was such a welcome change. Where before, I felt like I was merely a customer (how much money can we get out of this guy...Oh, and beware about some of them that charge for "behavior management"), this practice was a complete 180. Wonderful, caring practitioners who took a more conservative approach to my kid's dental issues. In office sedation (which was not offered at the big-box pediatric factories) is available. The office staff is professional and helpful (unlike the teenagers I encountered at the other guys). I highly recommend this practice.

Dr Z was amazing!! She took incredible care of our newborn. Our baby had a tongue tie at birth and Dr Z performed a frenotomy using a laser procedure. She assured the comfort of our baby and us as new parents, who were definitely a bit nervous. I would recommend this clinic to anyone searching for quality care for their child.

Our experience was not good. Not enough information was given to the point of some aspects of the treatment being left out. Our child’s bodily autonomy was not respected during her procedure. We are extremely disappointed.

This was our second visit to this office. We were in and out in 25 minutes... for 2 kids!! X-rays, cleaning, exam for 2 in under a half hour... unheard of! Completely professional and they didn't miss anything. Another great experience. See you in 6 months.

My daughter needed a tooth pulled for orthodontic reasons. The appointment we requested referenced the orthodontist's referral, but it was scheduled as a cleaning. They were able to meet the enhanced appointment and pull the tooth, and did so cheerfully and professionally! We have never had trouble making appointments, and really like all the staff!

My daughter is 11 and has braces and just had the worst cleaning ever. She has been going here for years and this is super disappointing. We are no longer going back here sadly. The assistant? (not sure she is a certified Hygienist at all) who cleaned my daughters teeth used a pick floss? She could not even floss her teeth with that because she has braces! The doctor had to show her what a thread floss was and then she didn't even finish flossing everything. :( I know a lot of kids with braces are going here and sadly this is a terrible way to take care of our children! :( There were other things that happened as well, but this was a red flag to me that they have hired someone who doesn't know what they are doing and that person is working on my child!

RMPD is THE BEST children's dentist in the Colorado Springs area, hands down. We have two little ones that are traumatized and their behavior is not always the best, but the doc and staff take great pains to make them comfortable, explain the procedure and it's a win-win!

I’ve taken my oldest daughter to this dentistry office for years and now my 3 year old. This office is always very friendly, quick, and kind. The dentists And support staff always listen to my concerns and they treat my 12 year old daughter with respect and allow for her to be independent. They’re incredibly patient with my toddler and it’s created a positive relationship between my children and their dentist! I once tried another office that was closer to our house, but it did not compare. I’m grateful that we have RMPD!

For the appointment had for R. Marriott -Duncan; I sincerely appreciate the calls, & text reminders for this appointment as well as any others. I also appreciate that the office was able to get Ryder in on short notice. He lives in Buena Vista & only comes to Colo. Spgs once a month (sometime once every 6 weeks) & it's usually only for a few days. When he's here I spend most of them taking him and his sister to various Doctor appointments, so getting either of them in on short notice is greatly greatly appreciated!

RMPD was absolutely amazing. We went in with our infant. They gave us great information, allowed us time to think it over and then proceeded with the most genuine care and concern for our little guy. Dr. Tonn then called a week later to check In on him and make sure he had recovered well! I know we found our life long dentist for our son!

During this complicated time this office practiced wonderful safe standards while attending to both of my toddler's (2 and 3) dental cleaning and check up. Both of my boys love going to the dentist and seeing the staff. I have a child with an extreme gag reflex- so the dentist isn’t always the most pleasant experience for us. Dr. Z and her staff have changed that for us. Everyone helps out and we have come up with different way to work around it and make the entire experience a pleasant one for my little one. If you are looking for a dentist’s office for your child that will go above and beyond to make their experience a pleasant one- I can not recommend them enough!!! We will never change dentist just because of the warm welcome, the individualized care and consideration taken for each patient, and just wonderful dentist that explain everything and want you, as a parent, to feel comfortable in making decisions for your child’s health.

We absolutely love Dr. Z and all her staff! While this time we had no cavities and the all clear- it isn’t always like that. In the even we do have issues that need further attention, Dr. Z and her staff take care of my children and are always so kind, and compassionate towards them. They understand it can be scary for a child to have to get cavaties filled and each and every time we are in their office- it is a pleasant experience. It’s amazing when your kids look forward to going to the dentist and are not terrified! Thank you Dr. Z and everyone at RMPD!

We have always had a wonderful experience at RMPD but, I was not impressed with our latest visit and will be looking for a new office. Many changes had been implemented that made me feel like my children were on an assembly line instead of patients. What happened to helping children feel excited about dental care? There were no fun terms, such as cavity bug, or conversations to lighten the mood. At one point my child was so uncomfortable he refused to open his mouth for the X-ray. We have never had this problem, but we also have never had three people leaning over him and telling him what to do. This is overwhelming for some children and when I mentioned this to the assistant instead of being understanding I was told this is how it’s done. That’s odd because they have NEVER needed three people to take X-rays before.

RMPD Helped My Son My son was having horrible pain issues. It turned out he needed 2 crowns and 2 root canals. The procedure went great and the staff was beyond amazing. The really cared about my son and the pain he was experiencing. The evening following the procedure he was in intense pain. I called the after hours line and I actually got to speak with a dentist. She called me back and helped us to help our son. After this visit we have been so impressed we are going to make RMPD our primary dentist office. Thank you so much to the staff for helping my son.

My son is 9 and Rocky Mountain Pediatric is his first and only dentist. They are fantastic—from reception to scheduling to the dental staff and doctors. They know and obviously like kids. Rocky Mountain Pediatric Dentistry is efficient from appointment set up through the actual dental work and check out. We were early and they were ready and took us back early too. We are usually in and out within a half hour! The most important part of our visit is how comfortable our 7 year old feels when getting treatments. She has been seen here since she was 18 months and since then every time we pass the office she says "That is my dentist office!". That right there tells you that dentistry has changed so much since I was a child. We are extremely content with RMPD! Thank you to all the employees!

This is the best peds dental office you can send your kiddos too! It has been a pleasure working with this dental office. The front desk staff is amazing and you never have to wait! My time is important to me and they respect that! The dentists that work in there are well and beyond qualified to keep your childs teeth in their mouth and keep them growing strong and healthy! My husband stepped in this time and he said he really liked the on-time appointments, the atmosphere, and most importantly the way our daughter was treated. She Absolutely loves going to the Dentist. We live in Pueblo West and are a little over an hour from your facility. The day of our first appointment it was more like 2 hours due to an icy snow storm. All of that just seemed to fade away the instant my toddler smiled for the first time ever when visiting a Dentist. The lobby of fun colors and calming fish tank with small furniture and toys immediately allowed him to relax. The staff and the treatment areas are no less appropriated with every detail considering how to make this experience easier for my child. THANK YOU!

All 4 of my kids go to this office. We have been to a few for kids and this is the best by far. The waiting room has a fish tank, a movie playing, and lots of fun toys. There is a lot of fun underwater decor too. The staff is very friendly, their xray technology makes it easier and stress free for kids. They have cute stuffed animals that the kids can brush their teeth while being seen and the hygienists are very sweet, makings sure the kids are comfortable. They always get a coin to do the machines when we leave, a toothbrush, flossers, toothpaste, and a water bottle or other swag. The dentists are knowledgeable and do great work too. I feel comfortable even when my little ones have to get extensive work done.

My daughter is an introvert 19 month old. This was only her second visit to a dentist and it was for trauma to her gums. She was so at ease. Even when she had to get the x-rays, she cried during, but they were able to help calm her very quickly. My daughter's first visit to a different dentist was routine and a complete disaster as the technician didn't seem to even like children and didn't talk to my daughter at all. We were able to be seen on short notice, even being a new patient, with very minimal wait. The space is also very engaging for children.

Gina works very well with my son, who has special needs, and he has anxiety. During our most recent visit, she walked him through everything she was going to do from taking x-rays, to cleaning his teeth. She did a wonderful job, she has abundant patience, and she spoke directly to my son, making him feel comfortable during his visit. Dr. Z always does a wonderful job with my son, also. I am always so appreciative that everyone there works so well with my son. They have so much patience, and no one gets upset with him when he has a difficult time having his teeth cleaned. They all work together to get the job done. We had been to other pediatric dentists before coming to Rocky Mountain Pediatric Dentistry, and no one worked as well with my special needs son as Rocky Mountain Pediatric Dentistry. We would not go anywhere else.

I was not happy with how they treated my daughter who has had several bad experiences as the staffs were aware of the experiences she had. Yet still provide another terrible experience for my child. It was very unprofessional and unfriendly at this dentists. The staffs and even the dentist doctor compared my child with a younger child who has had no experience and visited maybe once or twice. Yet my child was acting like a baby to their eyes. They were not willing to work with her and just said she has very high anxiety and needs sedation so they can do such procedures which she is actually a happy and a calm child. Just needs encouragement during the procedure like anyone else but instead she was called a baby and compared to a 2 year old. So we went getting no where. Wasted our time, money just to add another terrible experience to my child that possibly has scared her for the rest of her life. As a dentist and a staff your job is to make sure they feel safe during the procedures as well as making sure they are healthy which we didn't get.

My children have been going to Rocky Mtn Pediatric Dentistry for over 6 years. The staff is always friendly, professional , warm and inviting to my family. My kids have always received outstanding dental care and no unnecessary treatments. The dentists and hygentists are great at providing tips and advice for taking care of your kids teeth and gums at home, and also explaining any procedures they may need to perform in the office. What's also nice about this dental office is you see the same staff each time you go in for a visit, and this office doesn't have a high turn over rate of employees. You get to know everyone well at this office and get treated like family. I highly recommend them!

My daughter had a rather traumatic dental experience when she was 3, and we had trouble finding a new dentist she would trust. The dentist my husband and I see recommended RMPD, so we decided to give them a try. The first two visits were a bit touch and go, and by the 3rd visit, she was starting to warm up, but I and the dentists noticed she was still very hesitant with me present. So, we agreed to try me leaving, and that seemed to work. This past time, I didn't even go back with my daughter, and she did great. This is the first time in 5 years my daughter has trusted a dentist enough to not ask me to be right by her side holding her hand during the checkup. I am confident we have finally found a great place our kids love, and we're finally able to move past the traumatic memories.

We were originally referred to this office because of a procedure our daughter needed done, and our former dentist wasn't equipped with the necessary tools to effectively complete it for our overly anxious daughter. Five years ago, our daughter had a traumatic experience with a dentist where she was strapped to a papoose board and restrained in order to have work done on her teeth. To this day, she has never forgotten that, and she was only 3. She has hated the dentist ever since, and it's almost always a struggle when it comes time for the cleaning. Slowly, we're seeing improvement, and it gets better with each visit. The staff at RMPD are amazing. They speak calmly, reassure her, yet remain firm in explaining the work has to get done, and if she delays, she's keeping the doctors away from their other patients. Although I have been present with her as added security, we have come to realize she does better without me there, so all future visits will be solo for her in the check-up/cleaning area. Despite our daughter's anxiety, the staff demonstrated their finesse and skill at what they do. They soothe all worries, and they were able to work with our daughter without any further measures being taken. In the end, our daughter came out all smiles and was even excited to try the new "mint" toothpaste as well as the flosser tools. She's growing up, and it's great seeing her blossom under the care of the staff here.

I was referred here by our family dentist. I called to make an appointment and I asked if I needed to get the records from our dentist, they said no they would take care of it prior to her appointment. I called back to make sure they would get the records and again they said they would. About two weeks later at the time of my daughter's appointment (12:00 lunch time) they called our family dentist to get the records. No one answered and they said they were closed so they had to redo and charge us for the X-rays and my daughter did not get any work done. I called the office because I was not the one who took her that day it was my husband and they said the office manager would call me, it has almost been two weeks and have not heard back. I am very disappointed with this clinic.

From the moment we walk in the door, these folks cater to my daughter. She doesn't have anxiety about the dentist like I do/did. She has been through a few procedures other than cleanings. She has zero anxiety even after the last procedure where they made room for early adult teeth and have two teeth pulled, at 5 years old! Our son is two and a half, and is establishing oral hygiene. Coming to the dentist here is like telling your kid that they're going to the playground- and the staff is incredible. Our little guy loved to play and see the fish tank, and ALL of the staff made certain to make him feel welcome and safe. His cleaning was fast but thorough, and I loved the child-friendly terms they used to tell him what was going to happen next (we're going to give your teeth some vitamins! [flourise], etc). We love it here, and I'm so glad my son does too.

After a horrific experience at a different dentist, requiring therapy for my son, we found RMPD. My son's routine care here has been excellent- comprehensive and completed with kindness. Today my son needed his first procedure which made him nervous. A lot nervous. Ashley handled him so gently and with such kindness, and gave me all the room needed to comfort him along the way, he was able to complete the procedure with minimal stress and came home talking about how he enjoyed the visit. This is a huge turn-around from the kid who needed 4 months of therapy after the last place refused to let parents in the room with kids- by policy!- and abused him behind closed doors. So grateful for an honest, respectful, children's dentist that actually treats kids appropriately!

Our experience at this dental office was great. The receptionist was pleasant and polite, especially for an early morning visit. Our dental assistant, Kim, was amazing, she was kind and very informative as if to prep for what was to expect once the dentist entered. Our dentist was Dr. Zenthoefer and she was just as amazing and friendly. She explained everything before starting work on my son; he didn't cry during the procedure which shows how comfortable he felt. I appreciated Dr. Zenthoefer's time in answering all of my questions. We felt welcomed by the team and we were not rushed at all. Their office's functioning is pretty seamless and I look forward to continuing visiting this dental office.

We had a great first experience at RMPD! Everyone in the office was very friendly and kind. The hygienist was excellent and spent a lot of time answering my questions. Rocky Mountain Pediatric Dentistry is awesome! I am so glad I found this practice for my two young children (2 and 3). The waiting room is immediately welcoming for kids, with an aquarium decor and fish tanks. My kids love to check out the fish swimming while we are waiting. The wait is never long though and the office seems to run on schedule. The hygienists are friendly and good with kids. They are also understanding if children are afraid or hesitant and work with their fears to get the check-up completed (even if this means my daughter is sitting up instead of laying down!). Every time they have tried to do x-rays on my children, they always preface with, "It's ok if it doesn't happen, x-rays can be scary...." but my kids have done great every time with gentle encouragement and a quick and experienced hygienist. Dr. D is calm and soothing to the kids, and takes time to answer questions and go over anything unusual.

The office was very friendly when we arrived for our appointment. There is a big fish tank, toys, and a movie playing to help entertain the kiddos. We promptly were taken back to our room and the appt was very quick, but thourough. Every was explained really well! Great experience!

The staff of RMPD is always warm, friendly, and welcoming. We are always greeted with a smile, and our children are put immediately at ease about the whole experience or procedure. It's clear the staff are quite familiar with all kinds of children, and they are ready to handle any situation in an effective and speedy manner.
