Dr Lee treats each patient as if a family member. He has the clinical skills, experience and understanding of human psychology to reach the optimal assistance for his patients. Having been the patient of eye care providers since age 4, I have gone thru a population of eye doctors and Dr. Lee is way up there and an area resource to be utilized I needed a same day appointment, and they made it so; on time.

I strongly recommend Riehle Opticians as the "go to" place for one's eye health. The physician who performed the eye exam for me is highly qualified medically. 2 issues: 1. The optician talked WAY too much. I wanted to be in & out and he just talked and talked and talked. 2. I sometimes feel like things are being pushed on me somewhat. Tara tried to sell me anti glare… she made it sound like I HAD to have it… then I got home and my husband really hates anti glare so I canceled it and got a little annoyed.

I’ve been going to Riehle for 30 yrs. for my daughter’s 1st pair of glasses when she was 5, to my 1st readers in my 40’s. Now I bring my granddaughter and depend on them for my progressive lenses & regular cataract checks. When I moved away I tried other more convenient places, always wound up back at Riehle. They have it down to a science. Best exams, stellar customer service & loveliest selection of fashion forward frames. Always leave there feeling great. Consistency. I see some of the SAME wonderful people I saw 30 yrs. ago. My granddaughter always asks if she can have TARA. That’s not to take away from the others, they’re all highly professional & go out of their way to please.

My appointment at Riehle Opticians was magical! Everything from the service to the selection was outstanding. The eye exam was by far the best eye exam I have ever had. The doctor was friendly, patient and thorough. All my questions were answered and I was made to feel like I was at a spa treatment rather than an exam. It was wonderful. Upon completion of the exam I was offered assistance to pick out a pair of frames for my new prescription. The staff was beyond gracious with their time, patience and thoughtfulness on my behalf. They genuinely want to help you find the perfect pair that matches both your face and personality and did just that. I would 100% recommend Riehle Opticians and would not go anywhere else. I look forward to going there each year for my yearly eye exam as well as seeing the doctor and staff as I consider them friends. It is a wonderful place!

I saw Dr. Podberesky for a regular eye exam. He was extremely professional, very courteous, and made sure that everything was done safely. He determined that I had an incorrect prescription in my current glasses. I am happy to have a great optician right in town. I had also gone in for a DMV eye exam, which was done on the spot and my results were entered into the DMV system, so it made applying for a license renewal a breeze. Great service all around.

There assortment of glasses was very high end and the sales team there was very helpful in choosing the right pair for me! also also I ran into some issues with the prescription that I came in with from another doctor which caused the glasses not to work properly , but their doc reexamined me and gave me the correct prescription. I loved the doctor and the assistance in getting new glasses. However we were told they took my insurance and the nearly $800 I now owe because they are apparently out of network is in direct conflict with that!

I think I expected the exam and lenses to be more expensive simply because the showroom is beautiful and looks expensive. I was pleasantly surprised to find the prices for the exam, lenses and even the frames reasonable and competitive. The staff was a very nice and professional. The exam was thorough. The doctor explained everything and answered all my questions.

I am still getting used to having progressive lenses for the first time, but my experience has been much easier than friends who have used different opticians. Riehle spent an incredible amount of time and effort to make sure that my prescription met my satifaction before I walked out their door. Even after my initial visit, when I was having difficulty with my glasses, their efforts to correct any discomfort went beyond the call of duty. In fact, most eye wear establishments would not have spent an additional 30 days correcting my lens prescription as Riehle did. I am thankful for their sense of responsibility for their patrons.

This was my first time at Riehle Opticians. I was very happy with the level of care I received. Dr. Phelan gave me a thorough eye exam and pointed out things going on with my vision, that I was not aware of. She was very professional, and very easy to talk to, and made me feel very comfortable. Lilly helped me pick out beautiful modern frames, to update my look. Lilly along with the rest of the staff were very patient with me and helped me with my indicisiveness. They never made me feel rushed. Unfortunately, they do not participate with my insurance, but I knew that ahead of time. I do feel the prices were a little high though. I would definitely go back, and I highly recommend using Riehle Opticians.

I am greatly annoyed that we weren't told until the exam was over that Riehle was out of network and thus we were charged $85 when we get a FREE eye exam per year through our insurance. And I know we won't get the money back even though the paperwork will be submitted to our insurance. Had we known, we would have found an in-network optometrist. The exam was great, but we can't overlook thew fact that we paid $85, when we thought it would be free. We won't be returning.

Ariana is my 10 yr. old granddaughter. I brought her to Riehle because its difficult for her to find eyeglasses she likes & she hates eye exams. Previously, she was taken somewhere else & it’s how she came to loathe the process. The exam was comprehensive, as I knew it would be. I've never been to such a friendly and welcoming eye doctor before! Most places just want you to spend the most amount of money possible but the women who work here genuinely cared about picking out eye glasses that looked best on me and were most comfortable. It wasn't about the money. The eye doctor was incredibly friendly and explained everything he was doing. Would 100% recommend to a friend!
