Astonishing service from diagnosis, to surgery, to post op. The Medical community should take serious note of the elite level of patient care, and the highest competency from the Surgeon, Nurse, and Surgical staff at Spokane Foot Clinic. Every visit I was greeted by friendly office staff and medical assistants and never had to wait past my appointment time. Staff promptly filled out the necessary paperwork I needed for time off from my employer and faxed it to them. The Surgical staff spent considerable time with my girlfriend and me making sure we understood all directions for a quick and pain free recovery before we left the Surgery center. Highly recommend.

The entire staff was pleasant and the Dr Stewart was knowledgeable and didn't pressure to do additional tests or procedures. The only thing was, that for whatever reason, they were under staffed on that day so the appointment ran far longer than I expected. They did Apologize for that and, as I said , were very pleasant.

The actual office visit went very well with timely friendly service. Good professionalism. Trying to get set up for an appointment was frustrating and slow. I was first told the foot clinic did not take my insurance. Another call I was told I needed a referral from my MD when my MD had made the referral. Another call I was told the paperwork was not in order and then another call the foot clinic did not have the insurance authorization number. This involved not only calls to the foot clinic but multiple calls to my primary care doctors office Even with a hand written prescription for shoes. The shoe store is now saying they need paperwork filled out. Frustrating and time consuming with delays and lack of initiative on the part of providers to assist with resolving the above stated issues

It was a pleasant visit at your Valley Clinic. Sutures removed, incision site mildly debrided and steri-stripped. Dr. Swantrom explained absolutely NWB. I had understood I could boot-walk. The scooter turned out to be a bust. The handlebars. What I had needed was a small platform scooter, hands-free, with pivotal front wheels. I cannot carrry a cup of coffee w/o burning myself or a dinner plate as hands must be on handlebars. 'Cannot push a shopping cart. Bellview Health, the DME company guy has an "in" with my ins.co. and billed them the max, despite it is 300 over retail price. I called and asked to sell it back. Hell no. He laughed all the way to the bank. Sometimes the human race stinks.Ya know? Anyway, healing. Don't wish to go through any more of this. I have been ill with fatigue, chills, N/V/D and today has been my most healthy day in 18 days since O.R. As for NWB, I, of course, informed my maid, my chef and my chauffeur immediately. See you in a couple wks.

Horrible. My surgery not approved you guys have not taken recent x Ray's even when I asked to get one. I wear my slip ons you guys noted to my health insurance are flip flops. I have to wear slip ons due to the swelling on one ankle. If the dr payed attention I have worn slip ons since day 1 coming in that office because bending my foot hurt 2nd the swelling. You guys have not helped much at all. I have expressed to the dr that just wants me to sit on my but all day with a full time job 2 toddlers with a broken ankle if he would just be straight forward instead of beating around the Bush it be a lot more professional and helpful

Dr. Porter listened to my concerns about my foot problems and goals and gave me several different options that would work best for my health, lifestyle, and budget. I felt extremely marginalized. The nurse, Kim, was fine, but Dr. Swanstrom was very ho-hum, oh, just another funky toenail, who gives a crap. I DO! I've been dealing with this for 10 years now and she didn't give a crap. Use lotion? Yep, there you go. I'm pissed, and I will not go back to her EVER.

Dr. Swanstrom did an outstanding job. She patiently and clearly explained the growth that needed to be removed from my foot. During surgery, she was careful to prepare me for any slight "tug" so that it would not surprise me. The post-surgery follow-ups were also done in a very professional, concerned manner. My initial expectations were clear and straightforward: treat the matter so that I could get back to my life. Dr. Swanstrom and the rest of the staff far exceeded those.

Make sure right after surgery there is pain control. I came out in pain and there wasn't anything they could do. I had to go to Walgreens and wait 1.5 hours for my prescription. Then some time for the meds to kick in. All appointments were good. I really like the Francis medical assistant for Swanson.

Dr. Brockbank is the most amazing doctor in the world. He did my surgery over two years ago and he is still the first person I call if I have an issue with my feet or ankles. I really was impressed at how quick the office was able to get me in and help treat my plantar fashitis. I am still battling with the pain but have had more relief since Dr Porter gave me a couple injections as well as make inserts for my shoes. First visit to your Pines road office. Loved assistant Candy as well as front desk gal Chelsea. Dr Brockbank was great as he was calm and gentle which I appreciate due to my PTSD and claustrophobia. Only problem was we had to confirm my appointment as we never received a confirmation call. When we called to confirm my appointment we were told we were called but our phone did not ring. We received many calls that day and that week and received voice mails from many other callers. Spoke to " Patty " who told us our phone didn't ring ? I would have thought that a repeat call to confirm my appointment would have been made !

My daughter Elsa is 2.5 (3 in June). She climbed onto a barstool and it fell and crushed her toe. We went to urgent care not realizing how bad it was. We received care and instructions. I decided to seek a podiatrist opinion to be in the safe side. In my opinion, specialists see their specialty more frequently than family practice, ER or urgent care. Dr. Porter changed the advice and I think we have a good treatment plan now. I appreciate his caring nature and knowledge to help my little girl overcome this injury. We have a follow up appointment next week to remove stitches and to check the fracture. Also, his nurses and staff were great too.

There is NO BETTER podiatrist in this area than Dr. Brockbank! Of course, I have no experience with the other fine doctors in the office and I'm sure they are fantastic too! Dr. Brockbank helped my son after many other doctors just gave up, including 2 doctors at the U of W! After 3 years of pain and no answers, Dr. Brockbank performed surgery on my son's foot and it worked beautifully! Also, I recently needed an urgent appt and got in quickly and Dr. B has helped me greatly also. Don't go anywhere else!

my visit w Dr. Brockbank was as always an eye opener...i have toenail fungus and my pharmacy will be contacting him to work out trying to get me the med Kerydin otherwise it will cost $4000...it is a monthly perscription....my pharmacy is Shopko in the valley...or please contact them.

Very sweet gals in there to work with. Jay is adorable and friendly, the receptionist was attentive and friendly, and Dr. Swanstrom is an excellent, calm, understanding doctor! I was very happy and will come back!

My elderly mom rode the handicapped bus and arrived a little late. I was concerned she may not be done on time to catch her ride home. The staff made worked very quickly and efficiently, and she was ready with time to spare.

I wouldn't change a thing, it was a great visit and everyone was friendly and helpful. Dr. Porter made me feel comfortable from the very start, he took the time to explain everything about my condition and the process to correct it and what the recovery would be. I certainly felt that I was in very capable hands.

I really liked the doctor and how personable she was and explained things in more layman terms. I would have liked to had a little more info since this was a second opinion to see what else I felt the assisting person did not look at my paperwork ahead of time, since I dropped it off 2 hours earlier and she asked questions that I had answered in my paperwork...and then the compression ankle wrap that I was sold was a Medium even though I asked if it was too big but was told it was a Small. The box may have had S on it but the wrap had Medium on the tag...so you might want to check your other boxes that they have the right size in them. I also would like to have directions as to how to but the wrap on since I sent an email to the company and they don't have directions and there were none in the box. Maybe you could send me directions? I have since my appointment, still not found a physical therapist in Moses Lake that does Lymphedema massage that was suggested that would help my ank

I know my case was being taken over from a previous surgeon in Texas, but I like the doctor is just doing his due diligence. I thanked him for helping me by taking the case over, and he said nothing to acknowledge this sentiment. I felt awkward.

I just have to say it may have taken a minute, well really more to get to see the doctor that day, but the medical assistant that helped was the best, just loved her wanted to put her in my pocket and take her with me back to work. the doctor was Dr. Brockbank and I really appreciated the way he made me feel so comfortable as I was so scared really...defiantly had the greatest experience I have had in a long time at any doctor visit..No exaggeration..Thank you All.. Overall, Doctor Brockbank seemed uninterested in my situation. He seemed to want to leave the whole time. He didn't explain the procedure fully; he didn't even explain how long it would take or where it would take place. I'm contemplating going to another doctor.

This was my first visit with a new problem ankle so nothing to compare it to. I got a cortizone shot and ankle still bothering me this morning. I will continue to ice but continue my walks with a fabric sleeve I purchased at a pharmacy.

My experience with the nurse and doctor were great. I was treated well and Dr. Brockbank did all he could for me. However, I was told a referral would be submitted for me to see a rheumatologist. After waiting a week I called you office to check on the status of the referral and was told that there was no information in my chart regarding a referral. I was told I would be called back and never was. I've since requested the referral myself but I was not pleased with how things were left. I've been dealing with this issue for many months, a simple call back would have been kind.

The staff in the Valley office are wonderful. They are knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and helpful. They try to get to know the patients they serve and do everything to make you comfortable and healthy. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a good podiatrists/orthopedic surgeons.
