After calling numerous dental practices, few would see me for the broken tooth I had. Some didn't have openings for over a month. No one would agree to see me for the broken tooth alone. They wanted to schedule two visits: first, a full exam and take a full set of x-rays. Then schedule an appointment to fix the tooth. Rose Dental on Angus could see me right away and would fix the tooth that day. They did not insist on a full exam or a mouthful of x-rays. I really appreciated that and have continued with them for all my dental needs. The ability of this practice to do "onlays" while you wait is awesome. Watching the computer generated model of my tooth get tweaked by "Magic Man" until it is a perfect fit was incredible. The data is then sent to the milling machine and your new tooth is ready to be installed in 5 minutes. Unlike crowns, the old tooth does not have to be ground down to just a nub to glue the crown on. This onlay fits into the remaining healthy tooth. And it is instantly ready to go. You may eat and chew normally as soon as the anesthetic wears off. Travis Shelton, DDS and his chairside assistant both put me at ease and did a great job. Thanks, Rose Dental for being flexible and willing to meet my needs on short notice. You have earned my loyalty. Even though I live two hours away, I will continue to come here for my dental needs.
