Dr. Behler and his highly qualified staff are hands down the best Ophthalmogist in our area. I should know, I’m a former ophthalmic assistant. Dr. Behler, has been my ophthalmologist since he started practice. He has done my cataract surgeries and kept me with outstanding vision without need for any corrective glasses. I faithfully see him every six months because you can’t replace your eyes. People visit their dentist office more regularly than their ophthalmologist, and teeth can be replaced. It’s never made any sense to me.

Always a pleasure vsiting the Behler Eye Center. Dr. Behler is right on target and up to date on all available treatments. He has a pleasant demeanor and never rushes a patient. Jane is amazing and is worth her weight in gold. The techs are amazing as well as the ladies who are always smiling when patients walk through the door. Appointments are typically on time or with a very short wait. This small, homey, inviting office provides a level of comfort not found at large clinics like St. Luke's (just personal preference, nothing negative about St. Luke's).

Jane as usually is wonderful! The thing that really bothers me is when I called to make an appointment , I was told I’m already established. My charge would be $45, just like the other times , however I was floored when I was charged $95 for the same service as before. I made my appointment because I kept getting emails that my yearly exam was due, I feel like this was a bate and switch..... sadly I was unable to even get a new script, let alone new glasses . I loose pay every tine I have to take off work , then I’m exited about having my eyes checked, but socked of the charge.

The office door upon arrival was locked and a post it note said they were at lunch from 12:30 ~ 1:00, it was 1:15 and I had a 1:30 appointment. Copay was collected immediately after signing in, maybe collecting post treatment would be nicer. I waited 35 minutes to be seen, I chose the first appointment after lunch because I don't like to wait around. I understand emergencies happen but communicate that to the patients. I do however like the office and Dr. Behler is a very good physician.

Dr. Behler: I am still having problems with my eyes leaking. I thought I would give it a few days to see if it will go away. If not, I will be calling you on Monday to see what other options I have.

My husband and I both go to Dr. Scott Behler and are impressed with his skill, knowledge and experience. We have both had laser surgery with him, and my husband has been treated and tended for the eye damage following his stroke. Dr. Behler is very nice and friendly as well and super at his job. His staff is equally nice.

The office worked me in with short notice for a vision issue that was causing me a lot of concern. I appreciate the courtesy and the effort shown by the doctor and the staff. Even though there was were very limited treatment options for my condition I felt better with the information provided by the doctor and left feeling more positive about the symptoms I was experiencing.

Your pattern continues of extended wait time for service. Understandable as the day proceeds, but not for the first appointments in the morning. Patients have come to expect not to have timely appointments. They, however accept the inconvenience as a trade-off for personable, empathetic and excellent quality of care afforded by Jane and Dr. Behler. Go State!

It is always a satisfactory experience when I visit Dr. Scott and Jane. They are always so professional, courteous and patient with me. I never feel rushed, they always explain what I need to know, my questions are always answered completely and with details I need to know and can understand. I had cataract surgeries for both of my eyes with Dr. Behler. Before going to him I went to the other famous dr. who has a huge office with long line of patients. We were treated as a number, not as human. I went there twice and did not have the same assistant doctor and did not see the famous doctor ag again so I quit. After that I did a research for an Opthamologist surgeon who is not too old and not too young without experience. I pulled out Dr. Behler's name. What made me impressed is he is a musician who plays Piano so I know he must have a light finger touch. I have not been disappointed in Dr. Behler. I recoomended my hubby to him and he is impressed too. We see Doctor Behler in person in every visit and he takes care of us in every step of the way. he is precised and proficient in what he does.

I am pleased that Dr. Behler and his nurse both educate me on my condition so that I clearly understand all options. I also like that Dr. Behler is conservative about treatment, not pushing anything on me but giving me all the facts and educating me if something has more risk than reward.

The care I have received over the years has been exemplary and I highly recommend Behler Eye and Laser Center. The only issue is that over the past couple of years the waiting time beyond my scheduled appointment has been 30 to 45 minutes.
