I thought I would get some filler for my chin lines, and around my lips. I explained that that is what I wanted for that specific area and that I had had it previously and gotten a satisfactory result . The doctor agreed that Restylane would be the product to use Doctor left the room and the assistant returned with two papers with the fee for Botox and another for filler ( I could always use a little more Botox so I was okay with that ) I wanted the filler but was told to return in two weeks for that . I understand that Botox can help the lip lines but the chin lines are more or less static and are really only smoothed by fillers.

I am due to schedule an exillis treatment however after reviewing the diatance to martinsville which is 50 minutes one way i may have to find an alternative for that service since you do not provide it in livingston.

I had heard about this place through my mom, who sees Dr. Chasin for Botox. I had gotten botox from a different place a few weeks prior and my eyebrows were arched too high. Since my mom's botox always looked so perfect and natural I decided to call Reflections to see if they could squeeze me in for a quick fix. I was taken in as a last minute appointment and the receptionist was able to get me in for same day treatment. I didn't have to wait at all. The staff were very efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. They didn't try to oversell me any other treatment, they completely understood what I was looking to achieve and with only two quick injections they were confident I would achieve the results I was hoping for. I felt comfortable through every step of my treatment. The atmosphere was lovely and the facilities were immaculate. I will definitely be returning for more treatments! Thank you!

Dr Karolak goes above and beyond EVERY single time I see him. He has transformed me in a more beautiful me!!! I owe him my my now great self esteem at 45... along with DR Carras. DR Karolak is my face guru and DR Carras is my body guru. Together I have become 20 years younger looking and feeling(and feeling younger, is amazing). This is my take on Dr. Chasin's injectables; hands down the best dermatologist out there. He is extremely gentle in his application. He is truly an expert in his field. Keeps me looking youthful and natural without making me look overdone and "obvious". He is honest with what procedure he knows will work and does not look to sell you something you do not need. Also, the staff is friendly and professional. The facility's decor is warm and inviting.

I went here for sun spots on my cheeks that were bothering me. The Dr and assistant listened and made recommendations. They were very friendly and knowledgable. Even the lady that answers the phone was extremely friendly. Would def recommend!!

I don't know where to begin to rave about Dr Mark Karolak, his office and his incredible staff..A year ago I had a lower face lift, neck lift, brow lift, my eyes done, fat transfer under my eyes, to my cheeks , wherever he knew it needed to go and O2 under my eyes to tighten and get rid of lines...Yesterday I had botox in several places and filler in my temples...He is an artist ! Paula his assistant is incredible, passing him what he needed , holding an ipad of my interior face to get the exact Botox placement and filler A true team and a true artist.,,He is ablovely kind sweet good looking dr...I can go on and on... I am SO LUCKY to have found him and not to have to go into NY for 3 times the price and waste of time...

I was very disappointed with Dr. Casen. lol. I went in his office thinking that I wanted botox, fillers and perhaps other procedures that would make my 50 year old face look better. The doctor basically said that botox would take care of the few wrinkles I had but overall my face did not really even need the botox. Because my face was wrinkle free, the tiny lines I had stood out in my eyes. I asked about fillers and laser treatments to remove my freckles and I have to say, he was not jumping up and down to collect my $$$$. So I was disappointed but very impressed with him. I kept my freckles, did the botox and walked away with great admiration for a person who obviously is not looking to fill his wallet but to truly enhance ones beauty instead of unnecessary procedures. Who does this? I will be back!!

From the moment I walked into this beautiful office/facility I was impressed by the staff, appearance of office, and overall practice in general. As a trans identifying woman in very early stages of my transition I was worried about feeling respected, understood, and heard. I came in for laser hair removal for my full face/beard. They took me early and the doctor I was meeting with was actually EARLY. I was shocked! She explained everything to me and was very comforting and knowledgeable. Also the doctors coordinator who I met with was great too. The discounts they offer are good. Honestly the prices are a little bit more expensive than some other local places, but not by as much as I expected. I figured, I’m investing in my face and my life and I want to go to the best place possible, and Reflections is definitely that place. For any trans or lgbtq in general people out there, look no further. All you will find at reflections is positivity, respect, and kindness. During the procedure one of the techs even held my shoulder etc to comfort me when she could tell I was in pain. I’m super grateful towards everyone, the receptioning/scheduling staff is also amazing at fitting you in if possible and they are very welcoming.

I never felt so important to a doctor in my life. Dr. Karolak took his time to go over every detail of my procedure. No rush at all. He answered every single question I asked with a thorough response. The procedure was nothing less than art in the process. Because of the area, (lower eyelid) I was a little scared. Especially since I was told by other doctors that only true specialist can get good results with this procedure. He was so gentle and took every measure to make sure it came out perfect. I didn't even bruise. He took his time to make sure I was completely happy. And I was. It brought tears to my eyes to see what he had done for me. I have always struggled with the hollow of my lower eyelids, even in my younger days. I couldn’t believe the results. Thank you Dr. Karolak

Visiting Dr. Chasin was one of the best decisions I ever made! I went in recently for my second time of receiving injectables; Juvederm in my lips and Botox in a few spots. I couldn't be happier with my results. Everything looks SO natural, but making these couple improvements has really increased my confidence - I feel and look so good! My lips look full yet natural and my forehead lines have completely disappeared. Dr. Chasin is precise, talented, and extremely good at what he does. He takes his time in explaining the procedures and has a wonderful bedside manner. I had minimal swelling and zero bruising in my lips, and was able to go back to work after only two days. There was no swelling or bruising at all from the Botox. I should also mention that I am a bit afraid of needles and was super nervous at my first visit, but by my second visit I was so relaxed and the procedures were relatively painless. I am continuously impressed with my results and would recommend visiting him to absolutely anyone. My only regret is waiting so long!

Reflections is so reputable with their services. I’ve come to them a few times and their staff and doctors are so welcoming and make you feel right at home. From the moment I walk in, to the moment I leave their office I feel a sense of ease and confidence from their hospitality and support. I was a bit nervous to get some tratementa done to my lips, but Dr. Wix was super informative, knowledge and very honest as to what would be best for me and did not pressure me to feel like I needed to do anything. She is absolutely fantastic (with her technique and personable energy) I recommended meeting up with her if you can, even my sister used her for laser hair removal and feels so confident now. This is Julia's mother who has attended the appointments. Very happy with results - the office and staff are professional, friendly, clean and appointments run on time and fairly easy to find your next time slot that works for your schedule. The office staff is very helpful with that. The only thing that I think could be handled better is at the desk during "payment" and "packages"... it is extremely difficult to get a straight answer on what is left on your package /how much you've paid / how much the individual packages are... The staff won't actually say the words - they print things out and hand to you - there is a lot of double talk that happens because of this. I knew my daughter would need 2 rounds of packages and I never quibbled re the pricing - but when you ask a direct question, the staff should be able answer directly back and say "this is what this costs, etc. They don't - they print and slide a piece of paper towards you. I'm not the only one that sees this. A man and his son were also there for an appointment and the father tried to get answers to his billing questions and was so confused as to what was paid already or where they were in the package, that he said his wife would have to handle. We know the treatments are expensive - but you don't look for a price break in a nice, safe place - just easier if they were actually more direct - instead of printing and handing you a piece of paper and then backing away as if they're afraid you'll freak out when you see that you need to pay another round of $2500.00! Other than that, LOVE the place!!

Dr. Karolak is an artist!!! His paint brush is a syringe!! He is able to look at my face and know exactly where and what will solve my problem areas. He greets me with a huge smile and for the half hour I am in his chair I feel like I am bathing in the fountain of youth. The staff is honest and welcoming as well. I am 46 years old, divorced and a mother of two teenagers. I lost myself along life's journey. When I began treatments to my face it gave me a wonderful sense of confidence. It is amazing the transformation a little Botox and filers can do for you. I highly recommend Dr. Karolak if you are looking for a genuine opinion and a natural look. I call it the Dr. Karolak fix! I have been at the Reflections Center in Livingston several times. Dr. Mark Karolak and one of his assistants, Paula, are very polite and professional. Their manners have the ability to ease tension and anxiety associated with cosmetic procedures. However, the overall experience is barely average. The wait time is usually over 30 minutes; Botox and Fillers do not last as long as they should; and the receptionists complain if they have to accept American Express as a form of payment.

I've been wanting to try Botox for 2 years, but what was stopping me was a fear of looking like a wax figure, or even worse, having a droopy eyelid. I had initially looked into more "affordable" places on groupon or living social, because I thought the price anywhere else would just be out of my league. But what I found when I started reading reviews on these med spas was scary! People having bad reactions, not getting what they asked for, and things like I mentioned before.. drooping lid, or much worse. So, I decided these places were NOT worth the risk! Then, about a month ago, a customer was in our store, and I happened to be speaking to my coworker about Botox. He overheard us and told me that his mother worked at one of the best places in New Jersey and to reach out to them. So I did just that. My appointment was yesterday. From speaking to Merriane on the phone to set up my appointment, until the moment I left, everything was exactly what I was hoping it would be. Reflections is a beautiful place. The staff were all extremely friendly and professional. They were upfront with the cost and what I found was that it was extremely affordable, because they don't pump you up with the max amount of Botox. They're conservative and like for their patients to look natural! Love that! Dr. Karolak did my Botox and he was FANTASIC. He was warm, informative, thorough, and the procedure was painless. I so enjoyed my visit to Reflections, and I know I'll be back again and again!

I saw Dr. Michelle Ellern and once again, was not disappointed. I received laser for broken blood vessels near my nose. It looks amazing! No more concealer that lasts an hour! Also received Botox in the crows feet, forehead, and glabella (sp?) and I would never, ever go to anyone else for Botox as she is artistic, conservative, and takes her time. She has a competent presence and if she thinks you don't need something- she says, "You really don't need that." She makes you feel beautiful as you already are- just enhances, using minor tweaks that look natural.

I can't say enough about Dr Mark Karolak !I will be forever indebted to him for giving me my youth and beauty back ( naturally looking ) at age 56 . June 262017 I went in for neck lift , face lift brow lift fat objected in from my body and in 10 days I looked magnificent and was going to pool parties with makeup and beautiful hats. I had a pretty face but everything was sagging. My neck I couldn't stand anymore , my joeels I could pinch and shake and my pretty blue eyes I couldn't see because of the wrinkles and dropping around it. I love Dr Mark as a human being he has AMAZING bedside manner caring and what I love most is that he ONLY does face neck brows and eyes He is a specialist ARTIST in his field. I always said a plastic surgeon can be good at a lot of things but I wanted to go to someone who was great in only doing faces. I am going on Dec 4 for my upper lids (I was supposed to do them with my face but I wasn't clotting at the end Dr Mark the incredible dr didn't want to take chances so he had me go to a Hemotologist. I am fine and clear to do my eyes. And now that the fat is settling in he'll tweak a couple of things. The best part of all this is that he does not believe in anesthesia. It makes your face go limp and he needs your muscles awake. He gives you a cocktail of pills and after an hour go into the beautiful procedure room in his gorgeous Martinsville office and low lights nice music you fall asleep. I did t feel anything. Recouperation quicker that way. His staff is beyond nice caring kind and helpful. Always a welcoming geeeting. Dr Mark Gave is hos cell. Called my hubby that night and me the next day. - always available. I cannot say enough about Dr Mark. Dr. Chasin and his team were great..sincerely a very positive experience. I need to preface this with the fact I rarely write reviews unless truly impressed with integrity and honesty. My wife suggested I seek alternative fat reduction methods. She could not understand how after years of intense training I could not lose my belly Initially I considered Ultrashape and Coolsculpting. After researhing them I understood they would not meet my needs. They are really for fine tuning not significant reduction of fat. I continued with Laser Lipo. I watched the videos of the procedure and the dramatic results. Also, looking at traditional invasive plastic surgery. Dr Chasin came up as an expert in the field, he has many other expertise as well and is an actual surgeon. So, I arrived at the decision to go see him at Refections. Reading the reviews, I focused on the positive ones which are the far majority of them. I arrived at Refections, grant you as a man in foreign land, and was treated gently and respectfully. After a very frank consultation with Dr Chasin he sent me back into the wild with more health advice than anyone has been honest with me to date. Dr Chasin told me he could take away the exterior fat easily but that was not my main issue. He directed me back to my doctor to focus on nutrition and said that we would meet again if I could lose my viceral fat and that no amount of training would do it. I take this as a personal challenge and I will return. A lesser man would have taken my money. And they do regularly in this arena. If they are more expensive than others. I say this ...you get what you pay for and I respect my body too much to take chances just for money's sake. I thank Dr Chasin again and I will return without a second thought. Dr Chasin is terrific! He really knows about the Botox. He explained it so well to me and he doesn't even hurt. I've been getting Botox regularly for 16 years and I never knew so much about it. i came for appt at about 320 and my appt wasnt until 405pm ..i asked if it was ok for me to be seen earlier and the receptionist told me no problem.i sat in waiting area for 5 mins until a woman came and accompanied me upstairs where she just reviewed my chart with me... she left me in that room till 420 i would say... crazy right. all the doctor did was ask me hella questions and re prescribed my old prescription. that was it ..he didnt even touch my face ..then he told me he was going to write my scripts and come back.he never came back .his assistant came back with the scripts and sent me on my way.. $125 just for the doc to write me out my same scripts.. the majority of time i was the was spent in a room alone for about a hour total .took 10 mins for evaluation...

I can't say enough about the team at Reflections! They're fabulous. I was in yesterday for under eye filler (2nd time) and honestly, NO DOWN TIME! I had a previous experience with a Doctor at a different practice that was horrendous. It resulted in me looking like I was in a fight, with two black eyes, so I was worried about trying it again. I have acne scarring on both cheeks which makes me very self conscious and I wanted to see if something could be done before my wedding next year that would help me feel more confident. Dr. Karolak spent a lot of time explaining how acne scars are formed, the different types of laser procedures that are available and the approximate downtime I could expect with each, and what he ultimately felt would be my best course of action. As someone who always wants to understand the "how" and the "why" I really appreciated the time and information he shared. He's very knowledgeable and soft-spoken which put me at ease and made me feel like I was in professional, caring hands. He answered all of my questions and I never felt rushed. Lastly, I appreciated how Dr. Karolak explained that while my skin would never look exactly the same as it did before I had acne, we could work towards improvement. I have visited doctors in the past promising me perfection with additional procedures and upselling, and this was not the case at all with Dr. Karolak. This earned huge points with me. All-in-all, my experience was excellent and I would highly recommend anyone to visit Reflections for a consult. The staff was welcoming, the office feels like a spa, and Dr. Karolak was knowledgeable and professional.

Dr. Karolak is a kind patient, honest, affable and highly skilled Doctor. I've been going to him for 18+ months for botox and filler. Each and every time I've been to the office I have the same consistent, positive experience with him and the staff. I love the staff! I'm so impressed with Dr. Karolak's patience as I seem to ask the same questions over and over (some of them can be ridiculous, too!) He listens and responds with such care and patience. He takes his time during each procedure. No one knows that I've had anything done , but I continue to get the same compliments "you look great, rested, relaxed, happy" and that's exactly what I and other women want to achieve when doing this. If I moved out of NJ I would have to plan quarterly visits (I mean it!!) back to NJ because I wouldn't trust anyone else with my face, than Dr. Karolak. He's the best!

Wonderful experience with Dr. Ellern. She was patient, caring, actually listened to my concerns. I received Botox and fillers. She was conservative and very artistic. As an aside, I had to bring my 2 little ones with me because my babysitter cancelled at the last minute. The staff was amazing! Understanding, patient, and just indescribable the way they tried to make the situation work. Can't describe how much I appreciate it. Also, there was no pressure to get the procedure as I had just gone there for a quote. I ended up doing it because I felt comfortable and trusted the doctor. Thanks!!

I only go to heavily-research specialists. Dr. Chasin sets the standard for excellence and I always feel that he has my best interests at heart and is never "selling me" or upselling me. He has done laser for my rosacea/sun damage, botox and I'm going in for laser lipo on my upper arms -- all of these inititated by ME - never suggested by him! Came in for filler under my eyes. Saw Dr Karolak who is always so warm and pleasant. He listened to my concerns, made recommendations and explained in detail what would resolve my issue with undereye hollows. He asked me how I was doing during the procedure and I was able to go out to dinner that evening ! I am currently having Fraxel laser treatments on my face, with Dr. Chasin, at Reflections in Livingston. I'll have my last treatment (4th) in July and I couldn't be happier with the results already. I actually saw a difference after my 1st treatment. Dr. Chasin is a great Doctor who has given me a face free of sun spots and dark brown spots. I visit Reflections last Tuesday for a consultation with Dr. Chasin about botox, fillers and upper eyelids and I was very satisfied with the information he gave me. He answered all my questions. He seems very knowledgeable and confident and made me feel very comfortable. The young ladies working in the office are very nice and attentive. I will make my appointment to get my botox and fillers done this month.

I am extremely happy with my visit to Reflections. I went to address my acne scars. At arrival the staff was extremely warm and welcoming, I have never in my life experienced such warmth and care. Usually when I go to skin specialists especially higher end ones they don't treat me the same as they treat the older wealthy looking women because I am young and a college student but there was no difference in how they treated me. The staff treated me with the utmost respect. Anyways, the doctor was absolutely great, honest, caring, and told me the truth. I originally wanted a different procedure but he was honest and told me that it wouldn't be beneficial for me. The doctor throughly explained absolutely every single thing and let me ask questions, he did not rush the consultation. The biggest thing I am appreciative of is that no one in the office tried to push products on me or tried to push me to buy anything that same day.

I would never trust my face to anyone but Dr. Chasin. His extensive knowledge is not applied in a blanketed, it's custom to your anatomy. He's amazing at explaining why and how he's doing what he does. His results are always natural. His entire staff is always warm and wonderful and he's had the same staff for many years. That alone speaks volumes about him as an employer. Great to his patients and staff.

This was my third visit. I was charged $250 for the first 2 visits, so I was very surprised to have been charged $450 for this one. If the the charge was to be $200 more for the same amount of time spent with Dr. Chasin on previous visits,I should have been apprised of that beforehand.

This was my 3rd visit with your office. It was the 3rd new dr. that I saw, however he did not greet me nor introduce himself to me. I was also put off by the very long wait. The reason I returned to your office was because I was seen very quickly. I do not mind waiting 15-20 min for a dr., but I waited over an hour.

It is my first time getting a tattoo removed. I thought the treatment/session would be longer it felt like 5 minutes for a couple hundred dollars. I haven't seen it fade or fuzz up the least bit just bubble/swell a little with a little bruising around the area. SO hopefully within the next 6-8 weeks I will see a difference before I continue paying for these sessions.

Visit was great. Beautiful place, and Dr Ellen is super nice. Any questions I had were answered. It would be helpful to have the post op plans provided at the time of booking (i.e. emailed or in person) so you know ahead of time if you need to purchase anything. I didn't have any Cetaphil or Eucerin at my house, but I was too red after the procedure to stop at the store and get any!

I have been for laser treatment over a dozen times and hAve never experienced the pain I did this visit. I was basically burned all over my legs afterwards and was in incredible pain and it took two phone calls and six hours to get advice on how to manage it. If this had been one of my first visits I would have never returned or referred my friends. I will not return based on my experience and the lack of response when I reported an issue.

Everyone was friendly but the person I initially spoke with did not ask the right kinds of questions and when I addressed concerns they were not properly and thoroughly covered by her, the nurse, or the doctor. I'm sure the center does great work but I do not feel like they valued me as a client there so I will not be getting any treatments done there.
