I had dry eyes and cataracts. Had gone to other doctors and they all acted like the dry eyes were nothing and they could perform the surgery. I went to dr. Allison Rand and she said no. Let's work on your dry eyes first so we can get a smooth surface when we operate. She was the only one that acknowledged that my dry eyes were a problem and might hinder the success of cataract surgery. In all my reading the top specialist would say find doctor that wants to work with your dry eyes first. I found her. There can be no place as thorough as Rand Eye Institute. The follow-up care was excellent. Everyone there is kind and receptive to your questions and your needs. And believe me you work with and meet a lot of people there. . I highly recommend dr.
