I needed a quick refraction due to cataract surgery. I was able to get an appointment that worked for me within a week or so. Staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. Lung never makes me feel rushed. He takes as much time as necessary, explains the options (when the need arises) and answers all my questions. I've been a patient for 25 years or so.

Dr. Lung was so thorough when I presented with what I thought was a problem with my new contacts. It turns out I had dry eyes. He prescribed several modalities including eye drops which are amazing. Instant relief. Thank you! I should add that I saw Dr. Lung at the end of the day and still he took his time with his examination and with explaining the treatment plan.

I have arrived to medical exam a little bit earlier, done with some paperwork, passed several tests before meeting a doctor. Everything was well explained to me. Then I spoke with doctor. She was very polite and professional. I took several more tests. She explained my current condition, answered all my questions and provided a receipt immediately. It was excellent experience to me.

Wonderful, informative, helpful and friendly Best eye exam experience I've had in years! The staff was so friendly and helpful and made the process really easy. Dr. Barker has a very patient and calming manner. She took the time to explain the how and why behind my eye strain issue and offered numerous ways to manage it. And they didn't have to dilate my eyes to do the exam, which was a bonus. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone!

Dr. Lung is absolutely incredible. He's only in the office two days a week, and I don't seen him during every visit - but when I do I am instantly put at ease. I've been coming here for the last 3 years, twice a year, for glaucoma watch. Every time I come in, he goes over, in detail - my test results. Bringing up the photos from the tests I took earlier that day, comparing them to previous tests I've taken. He's just so absolutely comforting, knowledgeable and I can't say enough great things about him.

Overall had a great experience and front desk/eye doc was great but I opted to have the dilation exam in lieu of paying extra and had to wait 30 minutes for the eye doctor to look at my eyes. I told the front staff that I had to leave because I myself see patients and needed to be back in my office for a patient. As a healthcare provider, I never want my patients to feel like they are double booked or have to wait for me, and I felt I had to wait too long for my exam to be concluded. Overall I think I was in your office for 80+ minutes which I felt was excessively long for a routine eye exam.

Online appointment setting, automatic insurance processing, high-tech digital testing, and a smooth thorough exam from the Optometrist. Then, Megan will help you pick the frames that are perfect for your face, and dial your lenses in with all the features you need, not the ones you don't. The entire process (including filling out my paperwork) took less than an hour.

I appreciated Dr. Leung taking his time to figure out the problem. But he was uncertain about my vision for my contacts which was disconcerting. Then when I went to pay, the woman at the counter seemed confused about what my charges were, but didn't take the time to explain it to me. So I asked and she just seemed disorganized which made me feel like I paid more than I should have and my insurance should have covered something. I left my last appointment feeling frustrated and dismissed. I even said thank you and goodbye, with no response.

Last year was my first time here and I was excited the place. The staff was great and Dr. Lung seemed very knowledgeable. I made my appointment with him again this year. Instead I saw a different doctor. She was great but I was expected and wanted to see the same doctor. I think if you make an appointment with Dr. Lung it should be with Dr. Lung and if they are changing it then someone should let you know in advance so you can decide to change the time. I also felt like the front desk person was not very friendly or knowledgable. I had to ask her if I could order contacts and she told me to call them. I asked her why I couldn't do it now. She did let me order them but I had to ask several questions about prices and allowances. I still feel like she didn't give my correct information. Their prices had increased tremendously. I will need to find another place to order contacts. I also felt like they were giving bad reviews of other places so I would order glasses from them, which is also very expensive. I did order some because I am totally out of contacts now. Definitely a downgrade from last year.

Dr Lung is great! He's friendly and really takes the time to explain things. Aside from coming in for my regular eye exam (for contacts), I've had some issues with my eye health. He takes a wholistic approach to treatment plans and takes into account lifestyle changes that will contribute to better eye health - i.e. limiting caffeine, taking omega supplements, etc. I would highly recommend Dr Lung. The office staff is always helpful and welcoming, too.

Everyone at Queen Anne Vision Clinic is professional. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction. I was helped to find frames that I felt good about and I was advised about bluelight blocking options for lenses due to my constant work in front of a LCD. I took it so that I might get better sleep.

I had a great experience at this clinic! I left my old optometrist due to insurance reasons but I'm glad I did...my eye exam was the most thorough that I've ever had and Dr Lung explained everything to me very clearly while showing me all of my test results and images. The receptionist is also wonderful - she is so sweet, patient and was very helpful on the phone when I was having issues putting in an order for contact lenses. I had an overall great experience and will continue going back to this clinic for sure!

Upon my arrival, one of the new staff in reception asked for my insurance information. I replied that my exams were usually not covered. They said they would "try under the diabetes" claim for reimbursement. They did not follow the privacy regulations of usual doctors offices. Also, I felt that procedures were not adequately explained at each of the 4 testing machines. My bill did not reflect the out of pocket expense that was usually listed. I plan on calling and questioning this. I was disappointed with the new staff. I was going to give a 2 star rating but could not unclick the rating to 2 rather than 3 stars.

Staff were very friendly when I arrived. They had already checked my insurance to see what I was qualified for at that time, which was appreciated. The one comment I do have is that there is a lot of chatting by the staff while the appointments are occurring. I think it is fine for them to chat when the office is empty, but with clients in there it comes across as a little unprofessional. The chatting was audible through the door of the exam room, and the topics were not necessarily work related. Just something I thought I would pass along; again, not a reason why I would be uncomfortable returning to the office, but I did want to share feedback that I would want to know about if I were the owner of a practice. I would appreciate a follow-up phone call regarding the $55 contact lense fitting fee I paid for. I pay it one time a year when I come in and it is essentially me popping my one contact in my eye and telling the doctor it is comfortable. This year, I didn't even try a contact on at all in the appointment - I just took home two samples to try out. I am perfectly fine with this, but feel like I should not have been billed a $55 fee for a fitting. The doctor also told me my prescription was good for two years. If that is the case, I feel I should not be charged once a year for the "fitting". I would like the $55 fitting fee to be canceled and that money to go toward ordering my contacts. Thank you.

The staff was friendly enough. I was supposed to be contacted prior to my arrival with my insurance options. That didn't happen so I had to wait to figure out what was covered and what wasn't. My records from my former Dr. had not arrived yet and we had requested them in 2013. No follow up had been done to get the records. I also don't like the feeling that I'm being sold something at every turn, i.e. we can do this for an extra charge or you can have this done but your insurance won't cover it. That gets really old. I miss the days when you were told what you would pay and that covered everything! The Dr. was thorough in checking things out. My former eye Dr. would always inspect and clean my contact lenses for me every visit. That didn't happen either.

I am a long time client, probably more than 20 years???- what more can I say. I am extremely near sighted and want top notch vision care. Have gotten referrals for eye health concerns and am now getting support as I approach cataract surgery. Besides vision correction, I get regular exams to detect eye diseases like glaucoma, macular degeneration and retinal tears. Better personal attention than seeing a ophthalmologist (unless of course, you have an eye disease that needs treatment.)

I didn't really feel like dry eyes were a big issue for me so I don't know why I'd be asked to switch to 2x as expensive contacts when my current ones aren't causing a problem for me. It was almost as of the doctor assumed "oh you work with computers so you automatically are going to need the full range of dry eye care" . Also you don't need to automatically add patients to lists to be both text AND email reminded of appointment dates right after they are set, unless they ask for it

I like all of the machines used to test my eyes. I feel that better information about my eye health is obtained by using these machines. Sadly, we were so focused on my dry eyes and vision problems we forgot to review the results. I'll be back in February and will try to remember to look at the results. Also, I have more confidence in the staff this time than I did at my last visit several years ago. Because of the prior experience I had with the staff I was reluctant to come back. However, Dr. Lung has always been great so I returned for visit. I'm glad I did and happy for the new staff.

It would benefit all patients to review their insurance or service plans in depth before their visit as the office reps do not have adequate knowledge of how to apply ones benefits. I currently have VSP and was told I had to pay >$100 more for my lenses than I should have. My VSP representative said I was not being charged properly, when I called to inquire with the office they said they called VSP and were told differently. I called VSP again and they confirmed my benefits and had to call the office themselves. You pay for insurance or service plan and have a right to the benefits that should accompany your specific plan and it is not fair and very stressful to have to fight to get the office to properly apply your benefits. Dr Les Lung is great. It is the office staff that I have experienced this issue with. This is my third year as a patient of this office and I am concerned that I have been overcharged for my lenses each year.

Everything I saw was a designer name with a price tag to match. Due to my poor vision, my lenses cost a small fortune. Frames that didn't would be nice. The exam itself was fine. But after my exam, the dr. asked the receptionist to make an appt for me at his Issaquah office for a specialized test. While making the appt, the receptionist gave out my personal information - name, DOB, home address, phone number - over the phone to the Issaquah office in the presence of two other patients in the waiting area sitting a few feet away. I am not sure if that's a HIPAA violation, but regardless I was stunned that they would not better protect my personally identifiable information. You don't need any more than that to commit identity theft.

Easily the best eye appointment I've ever been to. Since I'm really squeemish about things in my eyes, I loved that there was no dilation and no air blown into my eye for glaucoma tests. Having someone there to work with me in picking out new frames was another huge plus!

I visited this medical practice to confirm/renew my eye prescription, not because of any unusual difficulty or problem with my vision. I felt as though the staff was attempting to up-sell me on products and services I neither needed nor wanted. For example: bi-focal lenses; retinal scans for glaucoma testing; alternate brand of contact lens (acuvue vs. bausch & lomb); being asked for full payment at the conclusion of services, rather then applying my insurance contribution to the balance due. I would have preferred to have been simply informed of my options, rather than "sold" on them. Cris
