I have been buying my glasses from Professional Vision for years because of their great selection and fantastic service. They carry a wide range of quality, stylish frames- unique ones too if that's what you're looking for, and they have ultra-friendly staff that will gather round to help you to choose your perfect pair. They allowed me to try again with a new frame and different prescription, no questions asked, when my last pair didn't work out. No other place compares.

There r a few things that were uncomfortable now that I have had time to reflect. There is very little communication on what is happening ie new equipment, the new lense , neuro, I felt it was not explained well as to what was happening- I felt pushed to purchase the new type of lense. And it an explained more thoroughly about no insurance coverage. Hope they will be ok for all the cost!

The professional vision staff is always great. I have been using professional idiom for over 10 years and it’s been an absolute pleasure. I have to specially recognize Michelle who always help my family and I whenever we have an appointment. Michelle seems to connect so easily with my daughters and wife. She is kind, extremely patient, provides recommendations, attentive and humorous. I remember leaving my last appoint and my wife and I looked at each other in the car and simultaneously said “she is amazing”. She is definitely a value add to that business.

Excellent staff members and doctor at this center. The staff were eager to help and were efficient. There was no time wasted. Even though I showed up 5 mins before they opening time, they were ready and worked seamlessly so that no time was wasted. Great job and refreshing to see. All but one staff member showed up 5 min late for work, which of course did not affect me because the rest of the staff covered for this late member. awesome service! Awesome clinic!

After retiring, the vision insurance included with my supplemental insurance, was not one you took. I have spent 6 years trying to find a good vision doctor. I finally bought a separate policy with the pre-retirement company I was covered by. I’m glad to be back.

I called in my insurance information prior to my visit so they could verify what my coverage was so I would know the price. They did not verify and when I got there she said it was too late to verify, my insurance company was closed. She informed me that she would verify first thing the next day and call me back. I'm writing this 6 days later and yet no call back. VERY ,VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I WILL Not RETURN NOR RECOMMEND!

First visit at Professional Vision and it went great. I had a 3:30 appointment and was taken immediately, no waiting. Everyone was masked and all instruments were cleaned before I used them. Everyone was warm, friendly and professional. They’ve become my new optometrist.

I must say that this is one of the most pleasant group of people that I have the pleasure of interacting with for my health care. Dr. Barnstein and his staff (very high ratio of staff to patients) are all extremely pleasant. From the moment I walk into their office I feel showered with a well-meaning and courteous staff. All very attentive and personable. I've been seeing Dr. Barnstein for about 5 years and he is like an old friend. He is very down to earth and I leave his office feeling well cared for.

Very disappointed in my 3 visits to get eye exam properly done, cost of glasses almost.$1000.00, no Medicare assistance, high cost of two frames, one I choose and cheaper brand X picked out buy staff and told my bill would be reduced by $200.00 when I agreed On new pair of glasses with ZEISS lenses VS INFERIOR LENSES they offer at lessor cost.

Everyone was so upbeat and positive even during COVID. The store was very clean and my glasses were cleaned before putting them on my face. I could not believe that other Opticians are not wiping down glasses just spraying and then handing them to the customers with a film over them like this is normal. I have been going to Professional Vision for more than 10 years. I am always pleased with the experience. The doctors are knowledgeable and friendly. Once I had to redo a pair of glasses and the Carney office was very accommodating. The one complaint I had on my last survey seems to have been addressed. This past visit, I did receive a special darkened plastic insert to protect my eyes when leaving. (When I come, I get eyedrops that dilate my pupils). On a previous visit, I had to wait in the very bright waiting room without them, and later had to request them myself. But that was a small matter, one time.

I know that the optometrist will listen to and patiently answer all of my questions. Dr. Hollie Brannan saw me right away after my primary doctor diagnosed me with Shingles. I learned that facial shingles can affect your vision where one could even lose their eyesight. I am VERY thankful for Dr. Brannan's knowledge of shingles and the up-to-date equipment The Professional Vision Team uses.

I'm extremely happy with my service at Profesional Vision. The staff is amazing and the technology is far advanced. The last pair of glasses I purchased, were outside of Professional Vision and in under a year they were scratched and faded... very poor. I still have a pair from Professional Vision, from 7 years ago, that look brand new. This place is top tier!!!

I had a wonderful experience at The Professional Vision Team. Firstly, I was seen right away by a doctor and throughout the entire eye exam all the doctors and technicians explained everything thoroughly to me and listened and answered all my questions. Dr. Hollie Brannan made sure I had everything I needed before she left me in the hands of the optometrists to pick out glasses. Secondly, the young girl that helped me pick out glasses was super kind and helpful. She made certain I picked out the best pair of glasses and her and the other optometrists made sure I looked good and felt confident in the glasses I picked out. Once I found a pair I liked she let me order some different colors online so when my lenses come in I have options of frames to pick from. I was so impressed by the entire staff and atmosphere of the office.

exam was fine, would have preferred to speak to the Dr. prior to having all the pre-exam items done. I most likely would not have spent out of pocket $35 for eye pictures if I had know the Dr. was going to recommend I should dilate my eyes after we spoke in the exam room.

I have beem coming to Profession Vision for 25 years. Such a pleasant atmosphere and super nice staff. Dr. Brannan is a very kind person who takes time with you and explains in a way that a person would understand. I would never go anywhere else for eye care.

This was my first visit to Professional Vision in Timonium. The staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. Dr. Barnstein came highly recommended and suggested I get glasses to ease the strain on my eyes when using the computer. Lizette, of the Timonium office helped me select the right frames for me. She was so patient with me, as I can be very indecisive when given a large selection of options. I do have to revisit the office to pick up my prescription glasses once they are available, but thus far I have had a great experience.

Really enjoyed meeting the staff at Professional Vision. everyone is super friendly yet very professional. One of my concerns was how in the world do i decide on the right style of glasses. They put my mind at ease saying it was one of their specialties and they will often have several people from their staff share opinions to help you decide on the right pair for you. The actual eye test was simple, straight forward, painless and almost fun. I would certainly recommend them to anyone i know!

Concern as to the continued rise in cost and the extreme high cost of both lenses and frames available. It seems that there should be more cost effective options available that could be offered in addition to only carrying high end designer frames. Clearly there are other manufacturers out there.

I was looking for a new Optometrist and Googled for the Best in Baltimore and four names came up. Professional Vision was one of the four. I chose the Timonium office because it was closest to me and I am so glad I did! Dr. Michael Andreaggi is Awesome! He is caring and professional and it was like seeing an old friend. Appreciate~assist with~my unique attempts to use machines for usual visual readings~but would appreciate note in my chart that due to my cervical dystonia~and tremors~spasms~unable to maintain physical position with neck to "accommodate"the usual examination~need to see Dr. Barnstein~for entire exam~Everyone was extremely kind and attempted to understand my physical limitations~but cannot have someone hold my neck while in these machines~again all staff were very understanding Dr. Barnstein especially knowledgeable and the reason I returned for Vision Exam~Wonderful to see Angelina~So pleased she is manager~amazing woman with tremendous skills~My Gratitude~For The Expertise Required For My Intractable Pain & Physical Limitations~Which Preclude Use Of "Normal" Readings Via Vision Equipment~

Didn't like that he picked some frames out for me that were more than my insurance allowed and i had asked to see frames that were within my plan. He also forgot to add the anti-scratch coating that i asked for.

the exam was great - the Doctor and the technician were very professional. The person worked me up a quote for new lenses using my same frames. The quote came out to be $645 for lenses only ( no frames) two years ago I bought the lenses (from you) and frames for $280. I asked the person to see if she could talk to her manager to see if she could give me a better price. The manager said the price could not be changed. I took the prescription to another store and bought the new lenses and a new frame for $285.00. I am not sure why the lenses cost $645. Ed

Dr. Setren is the best eye doctor I've ever been to. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend him for all your vision needs. On another note, it would be nice if you had a better selection of glasses. Lens Crafters has a much wider selection of current trends and seems to be more knowledgeable about invenotry and selection.

If you wear contacts, this is the BEST practice to visit. I have poor vision and some challenges with contacts. Dr Setren is a wiz. He is extremely knowledgable and very patience. The staff is fantastic. They take a personal interest and are very accommodating to meet individual needs.
