As I age I find that a good optometrist can help maintain or even improve the precious gifts of good eyesight. The older we are the more we tend to focus on reading, capturing the beauty of nature with our hard earned free time, and banking the memories of a multitude of visual moments to be captured of family growth and succession. I hate to think of the heartbreak of eyesight deterioration and what that does to those fighting retinal disease and other visual issues. As it turns out, Dr.Deckard has educated me and carefully explained every available approach to eye health and eye problems. I discovered the new technology of prismatic lenses. I learned the causes of the dreadful dry eyes and what can now can be done with new technology to treat the cause above and beyond simple eye drops. As a healthcare provider I can appreciate the investment in the latest technology Precision Eye Care continues to maintain. It is common to see new equipment and devices fairly regularly during regular exams. Each new technology has advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities. The staff displays an equal commitment to treat patients professionally, demonstrating their knowledge of the importance of their work. I recommend them highly.

Dr Dale is interested in your eye site but also interested in you as a person. She takes the time to review what you have discussed with her in the past, from a personal perspective, to start the conversation. I also love the fact that I: 1. no longer need my eyes dilated. The exam can now be done by a machine. 2. compare two vision charts at the same time to determine which is best. It makes the choice between number 1 or number 2 so easy! 3. have a great selection of glasses to choose from. 4. was told by the staff how to get a better discount on glasses. If you are a member of AARP (we joined on line while there) you get a 30% discount.

I wish all healthcare were as professional as this experience! Minimal wait, efficient but very thorough exam that didn't feel rushed at all. Staff was friendly without being over-bearing and the financial side of the visit was well handled, everything clearly explained and they worked with my insurance to make sure I got everything I needed within my budget. A huge plus is the retinal scan that doesn't require eye dilation (a small upcharge, but absolutely reasonable) which meant that I didn't spent the rest of the day with a pounding headache. Highly recommend Dr. Clark and the staff here!

Truly the best eye doctor I've ever had. Kind, caring, professional and highly knowledgeable. The whole team is fantastic and respectful. I still wear a mask indoors and they never ask if I want them to mask also, out of respect they just mask and don't make a big deal about it. Dr. Deckard is really, really great. I had an issue last week, the receptionist hung with me and figured out what I should do. Returning my calls twice and talking to the dr and informing me with the plan. She worked me in for the next day..,just to be sure and to ease my mind. The tech ( can not remember her name) was fantastic!!! So through, so sweet!!! She answered so many questions that I had …can’t say enough about her!!! Dr Deckard was out so I saw another Dr. She was also very good!!! Checked it all out to make sure all was well. My exam was great... I just have a suggestion. I had the Fundus photography done on both eyes, instead of dilation. After that, the eye technician, Tony, took my blood pressure and it was somewhat elevated. I usually have low BP, and Tony said that the elevation was due to the Fundus procedure, just performed a few minutes prior. Knowing that, why didn't she take my BP before doing the Fundus photography, (instead of afterwards), so that it would be a more accurate reading??

If I were feeling less angry, I might call this review “Wooed in haste, wed at leisure.” Instead, we’ll call it “Destruction of a client relationship”. Briefly, I explained to Brandi Deckard that I was not going to join yet another insurance scheme to get an AARP discount on glasses, but would like to buy through Precision though, and would be buying 2 complete lenses/eyeframes and a 3rd set of lenses for much-loved frames. “We can do that. We have an arrangement with the lab for multiple pairs of glasses. Taylor knows how to set this up.” Taylor, in the room, nodded. Note 3 crucial terms: “multiple”, “pairs of glasses”, “the lab”. In reverse order, Labs which cut, lap and polish lenses do not care into what frames the lenses are put – that is done at the optician. “Pairs of glasses” means exactly that, no specification on new or old frames. “Multiple”, in this context, clearly meant the 3 total pairs of eyeglasses, at least to me. Had Brandi said “Buy one, get 2nd pair 40% off” I would have negotiated then and there for 3rd set of lenses. Contextually, this verbal contract is clear - and I’m insisting that with 2 decades of international financial market experience [all verbal contracts], experience in construction industry, plus my published research work on contracts. My mistake was running out or Precision’s office, after a very long fitting process, before scanning the receipts. But I purposefully declined to pay the full amount, feeling the amount was high but not having time to check. I called 20 minutes after leaving, then 3 more times. Twice connecting. Twice asking to set up a meeting with Brandi. Twice being assured I would be contacted. It has now been a week since my visit. Contracts are contracts, verbal & written. Whether I am not being contacted because Precision has become sclerotic, or smug, or simply incompetent doesn’t matter now. I will find another optometry group, and will pass this story along through my social networks,

Precision Eye Care gave me the most thorough eye exam I’ve ever had. The team was very knowledgeable and Dr. Bailey seemed to choose an appropriate prescription for both seeing at a distance and up close, while addressing my issue of alignment (my eyes have never worked well together). The employee helping me choose eyeglass was outstanding (I think her name was Shelby, but not certain). She picked out glasses that looked the best on me right away - 2 pairs that looked way better than anything I picked out!! Overall, it was a great experience and I’m looking forward to seeing how my new glasses work out.

Arrived at the clinic and after the customary insurance documentation my wife and I were immediately taken back to get rolling on the annual exam items. Dr Deckard was spot on with all of our issues from last years exam and then also inquired about any new concerns we had with our vision. She seemed to be right on top of the current trends for corrective actions of our eyesight and offered additional insight into what we could do to further monitor and evaluate current items of concern. Got my glasses ordered and we were both finished in under 1.5 hours. The staff at Precision Eye are just a joy to work with and seem to have a good sense of urgency to get you thru all the stations of the exams and schedule you for your followups and give you your annual appt also. Always a pleasurable experience.

I’ve been going to Precision Eye before it was called that. The name may have changed but the level of service has not, it is excellent as always. From the Drs to the opticians to the checkout they all provide excellent knowledge and service, and overall we never have to wait more than a short time if at all. More transparency on Pricing for frames would be nice. I spent way more than I intended. The person helping with fitting did not act very knowledgeable and had to keep correcting things which made the price go up every time. This made the experience feel somewhat shady. The Optometrist and nurse were awesome and they did a really really great job. I was just disappointed at the way ordering frames and lenses went. Also, the receipt I received for services, frames, and lenses did not have the same amount that I was charged for and I wonder why everything that I purchased was not listed on the receipt.
