I have been going to Point of View Eyecare and Doctor Randall Bumstead for over 20 years and the service he and staff provide is truly top notch. Never once would I consider going elsewhere despite the 45 minute drive I have. Dr. Bumstead does a thorough exam and explains all the new technology along the way. He is professional and courteous at every point of contact. Kathleen at the service desk was most helpful and friendly and assured me of all Insurance coverage which is most important in my situation. A definite thumbs up as always in my latest visit to Doctor Bumstead and Point of View which continues to evolve and get better as years go by. Thank you again. Mike R

The staff at Point of View Eyecare was incredible in getting me an appointment given my narrow window of available time. They even called me back to see if moving the appointment up an hour (due to a cancellation) would help…it did! Dr. Bumsted is thorough and incredibly patient during the comprehensive eye exam. Each step is explained in detail and relevance. I have recommended Dr. Bumsted to friends and family and will continue to do so.

Unfortunately my visit was due to my frames breaking. But turned out to be a good thing. My were still under warranty and Janet was quick on getting that information and getting the new frames in record time. Less than a week I sporting my new frames! While I was there I wanted to schedule my eye exam and Janet had a cancellation the next day that again worked out perfectly for me! Janet, Patty and Dr. Bumsted were kind, efficient and so very professional! The office is beautiful!

Extremely pleased with my new glasses. I was wearing an old prescription for years after I had a bad experience with another Optometrist in Glen MIlls. My eyes are very different from each other, one is near-sighted and one is far sighted. The last time I had a prescription change, I couldn't see comfortably and after two more tries, resorted to my old prescription from 2009.. Dr. Bumstead said my prescription had changed a lot and assured me that my new prescription would work for me. Lo and behold, I can read books comfortably, do NYT crosswords easily. I am so happy! Very thorough exam. Their staff is great too, , Patty and Chad were very nice and attentive. I felt at home there. Not like my former Eye Dr. who's office was like an assembly line. Dr Bumstead thoroughly explained everything I needed to know about my eye exam and you knew that your Eyecare was in very capable hands. Patty at the front desk is knowledgeable with insurance information and really makes appointment a pleasant experience. Being a disabled person makes all of this so important. Also the Covid precautions were forefront.

Everyone was helpful and considerate. The check-in process was very quick. The wait time was brief. The only issue that we had was the online process of completing our medical histories. The system kept going out on us but the hard copy system at the office was not inconvenient. Even though it was our first visit, I would not hesitate to recommend your practice. We live in a relatively new retirement community. Occasionally we get questions regarding services in the area. We would definitely recommend your service.

I’m extremely happy with PoV Eyecare! The exam was very thorough, and Dr. Bumsted was patient with me to get it just right. I was skeptical about his recommendation for monovision contacts, but he gave me a free set and encouraged me to just give it a try...and it turned out to be the perfect solution to my vision issues. I also got glasses; they came in quickly and make my vision perfect for both reading and driving. Staff is impeccably professional, no high-pressure sales.
