We participate with VSP, Medicare, VCP (Vision Care Plan) also accepted. Exams, Contacts, and Glasses are eligible for Flexible Spending Accounts. Check with our staff if you have other types of coverage.
Specialties:
Diagnosis and treatment of refractive errors (nearsighted, farsighted and astigmatism)and ocular disease and injury. Complete contact lens services including all specialty lens products. Co-management for laser and cataract surgeries. Dilation Reversal drops are included as part of our routine exams-at no additional charge. Eyeglass frame styling to compliment you. Vision training (eye exercises) to strengthen reading and/or athletic skills is available. Correct your vision while you sleep without the need for surgery or lasers. Outside prescriptions welcome.

Dr. Ross and his staff are very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Dr. Ross will spend any amount time necessary to explain his findings, recommendations and/or treatments. I have never left his office confused or with lingering questions. Me, being a retired Engineer, am always amazed at the latest and most sophisticated equipment he has at his disposal, to run any test necessary for a good, through eye exam. I have been going to Dr. Ross for probably 15 years.

Everyone at the office was pleasant. Dr. Ross is very knowledgeable and never made me feel like he was rushing my appointment. He took his time explaining my results. I had to bring my children and they were a handful to say the least, however everyone there was kind and never gave the inclination they were bothered by them. The office is proactive and flexible on scheduling an annual visit. The shop has all the right modern optical instruments and tools. Doc is clearly good at his job, and very personable at that. The appointment kept moving but without feeling rushed. Plenty of time to explain details that might concern me, laying out options in the future as my eyes are likely to need some attention.

Loved the whole staff, everyone was friendly and patient. Just so comforting when you are faced with such a huge mountain of the unknown. It's nice to know there are still doctors out there who arent in a hurry to push you through.

Dr Ross always does a thorough examination and explains the current status of your eyes. Any changes required, he explains why those changes are needed. The practice uses the latest technology for your eye exam. I can’t say enough about Ginger. She is so helpful and goes out of her way to help you. Brian in optical is wonderful to work with. He was so helpful when it came to picking out my glasses. And I love them! I felt like I was the only client he had.

Dr. Ross is the only doctor I would let diagnose my eyes because he is so specific and caring, and he takes time explaining everything I need to know to keep my eyes healthy. The staff is so polite and helpful, and you will not find a better selection of eyeglasses and contacts. I look forward to my yearly exam and when I have any other eye problems like the dreaded sty, they always fit me in.

I injured my eye the other day and urgently needed an optometrist to take a quick look at it. After being turned away by another optometrist's office and told to go to an urgent care, I was lucky enough to find Performance Vision Center, right down the road. I called them up and their lovely staff were happy to squeeze me in. They said that they "never turn away an injury" and that I was given dangerous advice because urgent cares often make eye problems worse. Dr. Ross was so friendly and quickly resolved my issue. Can't recommend this place enough.

In an out in ~45 minutes once a year. Really as easy as it gets. I'd complain about the Covid masks but apparently they're required by federal edict. Only possible complaint IMHO.

Dr. Ross has been my optometrist for more than 30 years. He has provided expert care for our family as we have aged. A few years ago I had a detached retina & torn macula (in TN). That led to cataract surgery & lens implant. I was left with 20/80 Vision in that eye. The Dr. who did the surgery said there was nothing he could do. I drove back to FL to see Dr. Ross & he was able to provide a contact that gives me 20/40 vision. I am thankful!

I've lost track of the number of years I've been seeing Dr Ross as my eye doctor. He is very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable in his field. I once came in after having pain in my eye. Dr Ross found a tiny grain of sand under my eyelid (they were doing construction on my building). Dr Ross took the grain out and it solved my issue. He also was able to give me the ability to wear mono-vision contacts again after I tried a less experienced ophthalmologist, that had me go back 5 times and finally told me I could only wear glasses. Dr Ross tried two different mono-vision contacts and nailed it! I can now wear contacts again and see perfectly, far and up close. The office is very nice too and all the employees are top notch.

My vision is terrible and Dr. Ross has always found the perfect prescription for me, which others before him have failed to do. During our most recent visit, Dr. Ross and his staff were so patient with my husband and I as we tried to juggle our infant and squeeze in an appointment for our eye exams. I always recommend him to anyone I know looking for eye care.

Dr. Ross is the most knowledgeable eye doctor I have experienced in my 70+ years. He has provided me with appropriate eyeglasses and contacts for over 25 years. Most recently he was able to correct my vision in one eye that had suffered a detached retina and torn macular and then cataract surgery that left me with 20-80 vision in that eye. Now I have 20-40 vision.

Quality, professional service provided in a friendly environment. It is always a pleasure to see Dr. Ross and his team. They are pleasant and professional, and the office runs smoothly. Everyone is so helpful. I have been going to Performance Vision Center for many years and am so pleased with their service. Highly recommend.

While I did not have a scheduled appointment, an acute situation with one eye, not trauma related, left me physically and emotionally uncomfortable. Even though no appointments were available on that pre-holiday weekend, I was asked to arrive by 11:00 and was seen within 15 minutes of my arrival. Expert examination and diagnosis resulted in a script for an antibiotic which resolved the issue within two days. The expertise as well as the compassionate willingness to make an exception were greatly appreciated.

Dr. Ross and his staff truly care about their patients - that is pretty rare. I had an issue with my eye and Dr. Ross saw me right away - both this time and when I had an issue 5 years ago. He is top shelf! He diagnosed my problem and sent me to the proper specialist immediately

Dr. Ross has been my eye doctor since 1982. He is the only one I trust to take care of my vision. I have seen him whether I've had insurance or not. His office staff is professional and friendly. I recommend him to anyone looking for an eye doctor. I'm hoping he never retires, but I will remain a loyal patient until the day he does.
