Dr Ngai and Dr Phipps are amazing. Always "top notch" in the care of my dental health and to their patients. The dental staff are friendly and caring!!! The dental clinic is very clean and hygienic. Most especially the "procedural" dentist room. Appointment schedule is practiced in a timely manner: I don't have to wait too long to be called in for my dental appointment.

I am a prodigal daughter to Dr. Ngai's and Dr. Phipps' practice. It feels like home again. The personal welcome that feels like family. Although I was not a patient on record at the time of my ER call on his personal line (Sunday evening no less). Dr. Ngai is the first one that I thought of calling in desperation!!! Why? Trust factor. Something I did not develop on other practioners while away from their practice. Glad to be back!!!

Recently I needed to find a new dentist. I guess it was my lucky day because I found Dr. Ngai. He made sure to fully explain what he planned to do. There was never a moment that I felt uncomfortable. I can honestly say that this 80+ year old person never felt pain at all. I don’t know how this magical man accomplished it but he did. I would recommend him to everyone that needs a painless, thorough, professional, kind dentist.

This was my first visit and I am smitten! All of the staff are very helpful and friendly. Dr. Ngai spent the entire appointment time with me, listened to all of my concerns, explained all of my options, and was even able to squeeze in extra time to take care of a filling. I've never had a filling before using lasers and I had no pain during or afterwards. My only discomfort was from holding my mouth open. It was the best experience I ever had with a filling and the most attention I have ever received from a dentist during an appointment. Thank you!

This was the best most comprehensive dental exam I have ever had and the most through teeth cleaning in about 4 years. I have never had a written dental plan setting out proposed dental work and cost related to my dental. insurance co-pays before and I found this to be very helpful. The office staff was very efficient and friendly. Dr. Ngai and the dental staff were very professional and friendly.

I needed to find a new dentist asap, as I have some major dental issues that need attention and my dentist of 13 years pretty much disappeared. I was anxious and frustrated as I’ve been to an endodontist and oral surgeon and was informed I’m going to need to some major dental work done (like multiple things), but I needed to have a dentist that would be examining me regularly and cleaning and so forth, help guide me through and explain my options and assist me with laying out a plan. A family friend referred me to Dr. Ngai’s office. From the very first phone call to the appointment and follow up texts/emails, the office staff and Dr. Ngai have been warm, friendly, professional and patient with me. They were able to get me in right away and although I have a long road ahead, I feel so much better knowing that I have a plan and that Dr. Ngai will be helping to facilitate part of it and be referring me to trusted and tried periodontist for other parts. Their office is pristine, very peaceful and welcoming, and everyone that I’ve interacted with has been just lovely. I’m going to be referring my family and friends to this office.

I hate going to the dentist! Always have! I'd walk across the desert barefooted, to avoid going to the dentist! Oh, I know the importance of having good teeth and I know it's important to have dental check ups and exams! Dr. Ngai and his staff know I'm nervous when i go in. But, i have no reason to be, as I've received the most gentle and complete care. My care is performed efficiently and in the most painless way. I decided to bring my 10-year-old in to have his fillings done with the new laser as well. Normally he is seen at Kids Care (which we've always loved) but he needed 4 fillings and he's super afraid of shots so I figured we'd give the laser a try. Dr. Phipps worked on him and she was amazing! She was so patient and kind. She explained everything in kid-friendly language and made sure that he was comfortable each step of the way. I requested nitrous oxide, since my son is super anxious, and they had it. I also appreciated the fact that Dr. Phipps only saw the need to fill 1 tooth instead of 4. She explained that the other 3 cavities were super small and considering that they are on baby teeth that are going to fall out soon we could take a wait and see approach (she also recommended a fluoride rinse to keep them from growing). All in all, I was very pleased.

Dr. Ngai is my favorite dentist so far, and I've had quite a few. Always gentle, gives me enough novocaine to numb the area hi has to work on, and I have a high tolerance. Everyone in the office is friendly and seems to remember me. I have recommended Dr. Ngia to several people.

We left Dr's Ngai and Phipps because of a change in insurance. After several bad experiences with other dentists and office personnel we dropped our insurance and bought more expensive insurance just to get back to Dr's Ngai and Phipps along with their wonderful staff.

Very detailed examination and explanation regarding what not only needs to be done but also what changes that need to be made to maintain healthy teeth. (This was the first time I was provided with more that just brush and floss advise) I don't necessarily look forward to dental visits but now at least I won't dread them as much.

I’ve been going to Drs. Ngai and Phipps for more than 20 years — since they opened their practice. I wouldn’t go to anyone else! They are both professional, knowledgeable, and excellent at what they do! I’ve had a lot of work done in my mouth and I’m always happy with my experience. Recently I had them put new crowns on my two front teeth and I am extremely happy with how they turned out! Love the rest of the staff as well - always friendly and helpful. I have extreme anxiety when it comes to getting dental work done. So much so, that I had a panic attack in front of the staff and Dr. Ngai prior to getting a cavity filled. I think I would be considered difficult patient, (insisted on seeing x-rays, lots of questions etc.) but they really showed an understanding, caring and positive attitude towards me. They showed nothing but compassion and patience with me from start to finish.

Dr Ngai and staff are always pleasant and efficient. I never feel like I need to block out half a day for them. I rarely sit in the waiting room more than 5 minutes, even when I'm early. Regarding their dental work... their record keeping is spot on. They have intimate knowledge of my dental history and they only see me every six months. When I first started with Dr. Ngai, he recognized and corrected a problem I have dealt with for years at another dentist. Very impressive.

The front office staff is organized and ready, making the check in process quick and comfortable. Was in the chair within 1 minute of arrival. Both Dr. Ngai and Dr. Phipps take the time needed to explain the course of action necessary, and provide excellent insights into the treatment options and recommendations. Lisa is always considerate of my specific needs, but yesterday she went above and beyond in meeting my needs. I didn't feel well and she did all the x-rays quickly with my comfort in mind. She had to stand to do the cleaning because the chair couldn't be tilted back because of my GERD. I felt very grateful for her kindness.

I have been bringing my family here here for over ten years. I have never had any complaints. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Most Professional and Friendly! I've been a patient of Dr. Ngai and Dr. Phipps for seven years now. And from my very first appointment, they and their staff have been professional, courteous, accommodating, and friendly. They use the most current technology available, making treatment both more effective, and more pleasant. (I personally dread the dentist, but these guys make it a positive experience.) They are always prompt and treatment begins immediatly upon my arrival. I think I've had to wait just once in the years I've been a patient. They are friendly, asking about my health, what I'm up to, how I'm doing, and are never abrupt or dismissive. The bottom line is this: if you are like me, and you really don't like going to the dentist, then these are the folks to see. They will give great service, excellent treatment, and all with a smile!

My husband and I have been with Dr. Phipps and Dr. Nai for over 15 years. I have chips in both of my front teeth. Dr. Nai has filled for me twice and they look great. I attribute his skill to my ability to continue to smile with confidence. The hygienist reviews my chart before cleanings and remembers my preferences and sensitive spots before she begins cleaning my teeth. Everyone in his office, from the front desk, to hygienist, to Dr. Phipps and Dr. Nai knows my husband and I by name, always on time, and happy to provide options for payment and treatment. Amazing place, and I would recommend to family and friends!

Dr Ngai and Dr Phipps have been my family's dentist for 20 years and wouldn't think of going to anyone else. In fact when we lost them for a year because of the ACA we didn't go to one. Happily we got them back this year and had appts. made for the first of the year. Happy to say they took such good care of us in the past that even though we missed a year the family was cavity free.

Terrific team of dental professionals! Dr. Ngai and Dr. Phipps are genuine dentists who treat their patients knowledgeably with care, tact and always do and deliver top-notch quality work. In addition, they both educate a patient about better preventative teeth care and inform about available/suitable options before necessary treatment. Other members of the team, hygienist Lisa,dental assistants Angelina and Angela, receptionists Tammy and Patty, are all great at their jobs, friendly and efficient. I missed my last cleaning due to some medical issues. Worse, I had been taking strong anti-biotics that caused my teeth to become inordinately dark. When Lisa went to work on me, I didn't expect much. The appointment ran a little long as she diligently worked on my teeth. At the conclusion of my appointment she apologized for taking so long and went on to her next patient. I didn't look at my teeth until I got home and what a surprise. Penny is a wonderful person and a great dentist who understands that there are things that people are afraid of that they just can't get over, but she still does her best to make sure you feel comfortable and welcomed. I have been afraid of the dentist for over 20 years, and she does everything she can to make sure my teeth are taken care of without frightening me and is always as gentle as she can be. Recommend for children as well as sensitive adults. :]

Everyone in your office is so genuine and friendly. They know me by name and ask about me and my family. They remember details and always make me feel like a person and not just a patient. Dr. Nai takes great care of our teeth and has replaced a filling on my front tooth when needed and did a beautiful job. I can smile confidently without any worries! Doctor Ngai has been my dentist for the over 13 years. I broke my jaw in 6 places and damaged most of my teeth at the age of 16. I have had multiple dentist's in the 26 years since. Doctor Ngia is the best dentist I have found in our area. By working with him and following his recommendations I have reduced my dental care costs and requirements. I was actually cavity and care free with the exception of cleanings for almost three years. The care I receive from this practice is incredible. The staff is very informative and always ready to answer questions. Most importantly they work closely with my insurance company and myself to plan my treatment in the most affordable way possible while maintaining the highest standard of care. I have complete faith in this practice and would recommend it to anyone that wants the best dental care possible, at a state of the art facility, from a friendly staff that actually cares about their patients.

I have been a patient of Dr Ngai for almost five years. His office is partly in my dental insurance network, and it was completely out of my previous dental insurance network. So, I have been paying more out of pocket. I think of changing dentist once a while but always hesitate. Everyone in the office treats me nicely and respectfully. They put patients on top priority. They listen to my questions and answer seriously. They always inform me the expected payment for the coming treatment. Never found hidden fee or overcharge. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone demands high quality of services.
