Everyone was super friendly, and so good with our little boy. I was even shown how to brush his teeth (in a way that he stayed calm) and I was able to use that method thoroughly brush his teeth when we got home! Which felt like a miracle.

my daughter has a normal anxiety before dentists and doctors but I tried to prep her beforehand. She was not afraid and felt comfortable with all the team. She asked questions no matter how silly and they answered. Truly appreciated the care that went into our visit!

We arrived about 15 minutes early, and were seen within 5 minutes. A dental assistant asked if we had any concerns. After the girls were seen, the dental assistant came out and went over the appointment with us. She answered all questions.

Our very first visit for cleanings for 3 kids happened quickly. We visited Natchitoches office. I was a little put off about it being for Pediatrics but it not feeling geared towards kids. My older two were put on the orthodontic side and my 1 year old was on the pediatric side. That side was decorated cute with the tvs. I would've preferred all kids be on the same side. Our first visit in Alex was wonderful with the play area! I hope it stays when you move buildings! The main issue we had was the crowns did not go on well. My son was given the gas and the local numbing and by the time the Doctor came in it must've started to wear off because he was in a lot of pain. Which he was given more but up to the highest amount he could get. Weeks later he still had bleeding gums and pain. We did have to pay to come back for them to dig the "cement glue" out of his gums. I think the medicine wearing off caused him to move too much causing the crowns to be difficult to put on correctly or sized wrong. The techs were also shocked he was not prescribed the antibiotic mouthwash initially. It did help but a couple weeks after we stopped using the mouthwash his gums are still VERY sensitive and bleed easily. (I have not made another follow up for this or called to ask.) Makes me nervous to get his other side done. I very much appreciated that myself and my other kids could be in the room with him. All staff was kind and seemed to enjoy working with kids!

My kids all said, “Mom the dentist hurt me. He yanked and pulled in my mouth and my mouth hurts now.” The staff were all courteous and professional. The dentist never speaks to me- only the assistant, and my kids usually say he is too rough in their mouth. We were in and out this time which was a huge blessing.

The hygienist Tamela was so sweet and caring and patient with my child. Sydney made my 5 year old who had never been to the dentist feel so comfortable. Amber taught me so much about a lip tie and we just love Dr. Cloud!!! So happy we found this office!! Would recommend to everyone!

I am very disappointed in the care at Pediatric Dentistry. There were concerning areas on my child’s X-ray in April of 2023, but the dentist missed them. He notated in the chart that there was no area of concern, dental decay or dental caries. Fast forward to yesterday, November 2023, 6 months later and a different dentist at this office reviewed his X-rays from 6 months ago and noted TWO different areas of concern. She obtained new X-rays and these areas had progressed. I alerted her to the fact that we were never made aware there was any issue with his dental health, the previous dentist said his teeth were perfect. If I had known there was an issue 6 months ago I would have been aggressively treated the problem and paying extra special attention to those teeth. I do not know if the dentist was in such a hurry that he simply missed the areas of concern or it was his goal to have these areas get worse so that my child would have to undergo an extensive expensive treatment. I have already reached out to a new pediatric dentist in the area and will be switching dentist’s immediately. This is an egregious error concerning a child’s mouth that could have long lasting repercussions. My child has seen Pediatric Dentistry Shreveport office every 6 months since he was two years old. For them to miss something so crucial is beyond me. I would highly suggest finding another dentist that truly values your child’s health and takes the time to treat them prophylactically.

This was my first visit with my niece. The wait time was not long. We were brought to the back in less than 10 minutes. X-rays were completed, her teeth cleaned and she was examined by the doctor. The young lady who assisted us was nice and kept be informed every step of the way. All of the staff was kind and very helpful

I am so very pleased since it has became the new dentist office my son was going there when it was kids dental zone and I was not happy with our experience my son had to have his front 2 top teeth grinded basically to nothing and have caps put on but they were not easy on my child he was only around 1 and a half maybe 2 I can’t remember but I mean they put him in this straight jacket type thing and started doing what they needed they didn’t give him a break to catch his breath or nothing it was horrific to watch and listen to when your cried and screaming and crying and gurgling like he is choking all at the same time it traumatized my son and now he hates going to the dentist he just cries but the ladies that treated us this day were so gentle with my son they cared about his experience and wanted him to feel safe and he eventually came around so thank you and we came before to get a replacement cap and a gentleman treated bentley and he was also so good with bentley he reassured bentley constantly it was okay he spoke to him as if it were his child so I’m so happy this is a new company and I could not be more pleased with our experience thank y’all so very much for being so kind to my son and being patient with him

As a parent, I felt very uncomfortable throughout the entire visit. When I arrived and checked in as a first time patient (parent) I was hastily given a device to check in with no explanation. No one asked for my ID or insurance information. When we were called back for the exam we were hardly greeted and then after x-rays we were led to the patient tables. The exam tables are incredibly close together. Everything felt very rushed. We were referred to this office because my son needed a consultation about a silver cap that needed to be replaced and all of the sudden (like literally after 5 minutes) I was being told that my child needs extensive dental work on basically all of his teeth. I was shocked and anxious and then quickly escorted to check out. The whole appointment took less than 20 minutes. While the information given to me was probably accurate, the delivery was lacking. I don’t think we will be back.

Antonio has not enjoyed his last 2 visits with the associate that he has been serviced by. For the first visit he was left in the chair to long and the procedure being done was quite uncomfortable. On the second visit for a routine cleaning the Associate notified me at the end of the cleaning that she needed to do something to correct something she had admitted doing the last time. Antonio stated that there was just a weird vibe and something was off. We would like to maybe visit one of your other offices before we just change dentist.

I, Nancy St. Germain, am responding for Evan Patterson concerning his first visit for his sixth month cleaning and check up. We recently changed from Pediatric Dentistry in Bossier. Not because of any problem, they were great with the boys over the years but are not in network with the insurance coverage. Ethan and Evan have received very good care over the years and I will admit I was very nervous about changing even though the cost had gotten to be very high. We did not change because we were unhappy with the service. I was nervous about making the change. I was so relieved after our visit. The dental hygienists were great. Not only were they very thorough and professional they were very caring and kind. Evan has anxiety issues and his hygienist was great working with him, calming him, and caring for him.

We love everything about Pediatric Dentistry of Minden, from the friendliest sign-in ladies, to getting called back quickly, to the wonderful ladies in the back who take such good care of my sweet boy and to each dentist that is there when we go who take time to explain in depth everything that is going on with my child’s teeth. We love the staff. Everyone is friendly from the time we walk in the door until we see the doctor. There is also almost no wait time. The hygienist and doctor explained to my son in a firm but kind way how his lazy, high school teen hygiene is already impacting his health. I’m glad they care enough to have the tough conversations.

I can't imagine using anyone but Pediatric Dentistry for my two year old! The entire staff is amazing, friendly, attentive, and professional anytime we have an appointment. My son always has a great experience, through admit to cleaning/procedures, they are always patient with my child and do anything they can to make him as comfortable as possible. We had the best experience possible at Dr. Gambill’s office. Everyone (receptionist, hygienist, and the dentist) went out of their way to make this visit a comfortable, pleasant experience. Being my daughter’s first trip to the dentist, she was a little anxious. Each person took the time to explain everything that was done in order to help ease her anxiety. I could not have asked for anything more from any person who helped us. Thank you all for your kindness and professionalism during our visit! The staff went above and beyond with my 1.5 year old. My little one loves coming to the dentist with her big sister and playing on the slide in the "cool jungle." She loves the friendly staff, The balloons and the prizes for al lage. My older daughter loves to take her token to the machine for her prize. My kids get so excited to go the dentist. Just take them a couple minutes early and let them play!

I took my 5 year old in for a routine cleaning, the office staff was very friendly and I was called back within 10 minutes of my apt time. The Dental Assistant was super friendly to my son and he did great! Dr Gambill came in and took a look and explained one minor cavity sighting and we are scheduled to go back in March to get it taken care of. I am very pleased thus far and looking forward to going back ....

As new patients, I was expecting complete opposite of what I received. The moment we walked in we were welcomed with such excellent customer service from everyone. Our visit lasted no more than 30-45 minutes and that was with 3 children. Timely, organized, & such a warm enviroment for the kids. Im so excited that my kids have found a dentist that they would LOVR to come to every visit.

Unfortunately, I feel the office either over scheduled patients, or more seating needs to be provided. One family had six kids, another family had three. I saw at least 15 kids pass through the office and seating was very limited. In the past, we have very little wait time, we were 15 minutes early and still waited 20 minutes past our scheduled time. Another complaint I have is the restroom was in horrible condition. I will say a positive is the dental hygienist was amazing! You could tell she really liked kids. We are currently researching other dentists.

I was very nervous bringing my 3 year old to the dentist. He is speech delayed so he can get easily frustrated and upset. The dental assistant that saw him was fantastic. She was very patient and helped to explain things in a way he understood. Dr. Gambill was great as well and very friendly. I highly recommend bringing your children here.

We scheduled our appointment with Dr. Gambill, Only to see someone else. My son is very Nervous about dentists. So when he gets to know a Dentist, and I schedule an appointment with that dentist, Thats who we expect. I do not by any means have problems with associates trying to learn or whatever. But when my son gets comfortable with someone. thats why we use that person.

There is hardly a wait, if any at all, so of course that would make me happy being a busy mom but what absolutely makes this place stand out over others is their care for the kids!! My child LOVES going to the dentist. The assistants play with her during her cleanings and talk to her about her interests because they enjoy learning about their little patients! I usually sit in the waiting room while they do what they need to do so she stays attentive to what they need her to do and I never worry about her in their care! Afterwards they get rewarded with a prize or a balloon or both and all kids love that!! Hands down the best pediatric dentist in town!

Pediatric Dentistry Shreveport-Bossier is awesome. The staff there are very nice and understanding. The environment is very comfortable and kid friendly. Dr. Gambill does a great job with his patients. When my son first came he was afraid but the staff there found ways to make him comfortable and understand that nothing at the dentist would harm or hurt him. Now he LOVES the going to the dentist. It's very seldom you can find a group of people working with kids that have a happy attitude all the time and I thank PD Shreveport-Bossier for that. I would recommend anyone to PD Shreveport-Bossier!

We love Dr. Gambill and his entire staff! Connor usually freaks out and when they said we were doing X-rays since he's 4 now I freaked out thinking what he would do, but like always our girl was awesome. She pretended to hide paw patrol in his teeth while cleaning and the X-ray is where they took the pictures of the hiding places for Dr. Gambill to fine. Love love love them!

Best dentist I have found for my child. The staff are great with children as is Dr. Gambill. The visit is short and fun for the kids. You get special tokens at the end of the visit as a kind of reward and they can spend the tokens in a little machine that gives them a toy. The office is big, bright, and open. They actually let you go back to the exam rooms with your children unlike most places today. There are tvs on the ceiling with kids movies in to entertain the kids as they are worked on. My son is 7 and loves his dentist office. I recommend this office to everyone I come across looking for a pediatric dentist. And the dentists are amazing, explaining every little detail of what's happening during his exam.

logan loves going to the dentist because of these amazing people. Logan is completely at ease and always looks forward to his appointments. The way he was treated at ocean dental in Shreve City terrified him and left me very bitter as to how those children and parents were treated. The atmosphere at the office isn't the same anymore. The hygienist was amazing. She was the best part of the visit. It doesn't feel welcoming anymore, it feels more like a business and that they dentist are only doing it for income and not because they love it!

I put Not So Good as my overall visit, because of 2 1/2 year old daughter not because of the staff or dentist office itself. My daughter was absolutely terrible this visit for some reason, but the staff was amazing with us. They tried different ways to comfort her and not once did they show their agitation with us. Everyone did a great job making us feel comfortable and everyone was great with the kids. One suggestion I have from something I observed with my son is his demeanor changed when the dental hygienist put on her mask. I think he was scared of that. I am not sure if they make them or not but maybe if you coukd find some masks that have a character on them or something to make them not so plain and "scary" to a two year old. I was very please with the promptness of the staff as well.

When my child was screaming in pain having a tooth pulled, and they were trying to tell me how it didn't actually hurt. That he didn't understand the difference between numb and pain and he's 10 yrs old, I really didn't appriciate it.
