By far one of the best experiences I’ve had while getting my teeth done….they were so friendly from the time I stepped foot in the door they had these new “lazy glasses” that were very convenient I didn’t have to move my head to see the movie (that they let me pick out) and she noticed I was a bit cold and she brought me a blanket it was SO NICE!!!!keep up the great work

Dr. Brown is the best. Thank you for being so patient with the young ones. She makes a frightening process for kids a challenge to overcome by talking them through every step and ensuring them it will be ok. Also providing alternatives to getting the procedure done and all happy.

My daughter came in for a filling the other day. She is 6 years old. Dr. Brown and her assistant were amazing. They made her feel comfortable by providing a warm blanket for her, letting her pick a movie to watch and even giving her a sugar free lolipop. At the end the visit, my daughter said "this is fun" "i love the dentist." I will be forever thankful for Par-La-Ville dental making her first filling adventure a fun one. Thank you Dr. Brown and team!

Top notch. Soleil is 4 and this was her first trip to the dentist. She has been a little high strung in the past when it comes to medical procedures, but this cleaning and x-ray were a breeze. The hygienist was very kid friendly and the facilities worked for a kid her age. I might even be changing my dentist over to Par-la-Ville dental after this experience!

Very friendly and very welcoming environment for my son age 6. The staff had wonderful patience with him while he did his X-rays. He hates going to the dentist but this experience was awesome. He was able to watch one of his favorite Netflix shows which was awesome.

Great experience at Par-La-Ville Dental! The dental hygienist was very friendly and thorough. I had to have two small fillings renewed. Received appointment quickly and the locum doctor was also very professional and did a great job (almost pain free - without unnecessary numbing!).

After being measured for a new crown just before the start of the Covid pandemic it was not possible to have it fitted for 2 years but my temporary crown, which is not normally expected to last for more than a couple of months, gave absolutely no problems, and when I finally had the new crown inserted it "fitted like a glove!" First class treatment from start to finish.

My experiences at Par la Ville Dental have been fantastic. They are very thorough in all aspects of care and treatment and have a friendly and confident way of making one feel comfortable and reassured as they go provide treatment. All possible measures were in place with regards to covid protection and hygiene was paramount in a very good way. Came in for a cleaning explained that I thought I had a cracked tooth but she did not see anything. I still think my bottom right molder has something wrong with it. While it doesn’t hurt but it is uncomfortable chewing on that side. The cleaning was done very well.

I liked that they show nice movies and their chairs are comfortable, but before my teeth didn’t hurt for a while and after they started hurting again. Plus the woman that was dealing with my mouth made my gums hurt I know that they can improve on that.

Problematic tooth was rectified. Thank you Dr. Brown and associates. However, when office manager called and inquired on how Ryan was doing, I said he doing well. But, as I was asking a question she cut me off and said "wonderful" and will inform doctor and hung up the phone quickly as I was asking the question. She did not care what I was inquiring about. My cell phone was on speaker and work colleagues witnessed and negatively commented on situation briefly.

Dr.Brown is absolutely amazing.. She took her time with my 6 yr old daughter who was there to have her 2 front baby teeth pulled (following previous trauma,it was time for them to come out). Drawing, toys, lollipops, cartoons.. Neither my daughter or my 3 yr old son who accompanied us wanted to leave. What an incredible way to introduce your child to a knowledgeable, experienced dentist, one who loves kids. Would absolutely recommend to any parent. You will not be disappointed.

My son was in a bike accident Wednesday night which left him with two badly cracked teeth. One of which required a root canal as the root was exposed causing him severe pain. I called the office Wednesday night in hopes to get a call for an appointment sometime Thursday. Not only did the receptionist call me early Thursday morning they also was able to get him a 9am appointment. When we arrived we didn't know what to expect, however Dr. Brown was able to repair the injuries to his front tooth and temporarily patch it up so that he could function (and look normal) between then and his next appointment in July. In addition to that we received a follow up call the next day to check on him which was very nice of them. My heart was filled with pure gratitude for the professionalism, team work and effort that Par-la-ville Dental provided. Thank you!

I was a first time patient, having been strongly recommended by my wife who needed a new crown and was elated with it. By coincidence, I had a front tooth disintegrate just a few days before leaving for a vacation abroad, and called on the off chance I could get an appointment. Not only did I get a timely appointment but I had a complication that required two crowns and a bridge. I literally just walked out this afternoon having been fitted by Dr. Winnett with a perfect temporary device, which looks better than the original, and I'll receive the permanent device within 3 - 4 weeks. The treatment I received at Par-la-Ville Dental was absolutely first class, as were the staff.

I love going here. The office is a fun place for kids - well, as fun as a Dentist office with drills and such can be - but most importantly, I have a ton of confidence that they know what they are doing and they do it understanding that these are kids coming here. They are gentle with the kids but firm. My kids don't complain about going at all. And I just love Dr. Janie Brown - she's lovely, amiable, smart, kind, great with kids, always upbeat.

We had a great experience at our appointment yesterday. Not only did Dr Brown really take time to come over and discuss my daughter's teeth with me, but we were right at the end of the day, and she did not rush us at all. Hi, the service you offer is great, but perhaps can be enhanced a bit by being seen closer to the scheduled time. We waited well over 40 minutes before we were called in. I got an appointment time change on the same day, which i assumed was because you were running late, but we still waited far too long after we arrived.

Dr. Brown was very kind after my son Harry had his dental procedure at the hospital in September. I was told I could call back if I had any questions. I didn’t bother calling and I wrote an email instead and I didn’t hear back from anyone at your office until I called a week later. I had 5 important questions to ask about the care of my 3 year old son teeth. I was told by Anna that Dr Brown didn’t have the time to answer them by email so I will have to schedule an appointment which made sense as I wasn’t trying to get anything for free if that was the issue. Today is Oct 30 and I still haven’t been contacted to answer my questions. Also I found that I wasn’t given enough information about the cast iron crowns that were put in my son’s mouth and anything about after care. Right now he has a couple of issues with the Crowns: one is so close to the next tooth that I can barely floss and the other one hurts when he eats cold stuff. My questions will never be answered by Dr Brown because now I am embarrassed to call for an appointment because your office might feel I am being pushy or annoying. It is very upsetting to me that all my doubts were dismissed and I didn’t have a chance to have any sort of clarification. I won’t pursue any further contact with the office as I find that my concerns didn’t matter and that you have plenty of clients that you can just spare one. In the meantime I will find another dentist for my son and hopefully I will get answers. This review is not an intent to be disrespectful to anyone and I only did it because I feel it is fair that you know what at went wrong and try not to do it to other concern parents as you will find yourselves out of business as Bermuda is a very small island and costumers should be valuable for any type of business. The 2 stars I am giving you are for Dr Brown and the compassion she showed for me and my son after his procedures were done.

I was very impressed with the service. Kim did a superb job in taking me in last minute on the same day and was very professional, friendly, and accommodating. I will make sure not to go back to my previous dentist again and will come back here when I am back on island and require a dental visit. I have even referred my mom and dad. I was referred to Dr. Brown by many of my friends and a dentist visit was long overdue for my, then, 3 year old daughter whose teeth had started to decay. Dr. Brown gave my daughter her smile back! She gave us options and listened to all of our input. We recently went for a 6 month check up and Sheiyah's visit, like her brother's went perfect! Jeremiah, my 3 year old can sometimes can be quite a handful. But somehow, in what I thought would be a disastererous first visit turned about to be what can only be described as "a perfect visit" by Dr. Brown herself and in my mind as well :). She was very prepared for anything that could occur during the visit but her calm yet wise words kept Jeremiah calm throughout the entire visit. He not only got to watch one of his favourite movies, play with cool toys, and receive a few parting "gifts(toys)", but healso a goodie bag with a super cool Superhero toothbrush and 'red' chap stick which is definitely needed and yet sometimes forgotten during the summer. My family loves Dr. Brown. That's why Jeremiah and his 4 year old sister will always go to Par-La-Ville Dental.

I was hesitant to have a scheduled small filling done for a couple of reasons and Dr. Brown was very understanding - took a look and agreed it could wait for a while longer if I wasn't comfortable - in my experience, other Dentists have been very pushy and insisted on doing a procedure regardless of how the client felt - I feel PLV Dental aren't putting $s before their patients which is refreshing to say the least.

A relieving experience to know that my child could receive exemplary care in one could have been a very traumatic experience. We originally hoped to have her seen by Dr Brown, but during a prior emergency she was not available so we opted to see another dentist. It turned out to be the worst decision for our daughter. Needless to say, we were able to have her seen by Dr Brown and she was able to utilize the simplest of techniques to calm our daughter and us as well. We have found a dentist for life for our daughter.

I like how Dr. Brown and her assistant kept light conversation with me and my mom which helped me relax. I also like when they used the green guard to protect my tongue and they gave me a blanket to keep me warm. Even though it hurt a little I was okay.

So I'm not a fan of sitting in the dentist chair, even just for a cleaning. I feel like I could be spending that time doing so many other things. Still I need that reassurance that what I'm doing for my teeth is good enough to still have them when I get really old. So I go, and thankfully, all is well. But what I really like about this place is that, they get me in the chair quickly, do the service and then get me out quickly. And they do it all with such pleasantries. I just love the positive vibes they send out and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Just wanted to recognize Amanda, my son has been seeing a dental hygienist since the fall of 2014 just after his third birth day. For the 3 visits that we had my son refused to lay in the chair and would barely open his mouth for her to count his teeth much less clean them. After the 3rd failed visit our former hygienist recommend Par-la-Ville Dental of course I was skeptical but had to go. We walked into the office yesterday (albeit late, apologies again) and were greeted by smiling faces in a bright office. Amanda our hygienist was awesome she got Jalen into the chair, to open his mouth and cleaned, flossed and fluoride his teeth. I don’t know how she did it but I’m grateful. We then met with Dr. Brown another smiling face. I have found my son’s dental office and I very glad for you ladies in there. Thank you for making my child comfortable and taking the fear away.

My daughter loves going to the dentist because Dr. Brown and her dental staff make the visit very pleasant and are extremely pleasant. She explains every thing she is doing and always rewards my daughter for being patient and being a good patient. She even makes sure to tell the kids that they are doing a great job which makes them feel more at ease. Bringing my children to Par La Ville dental is one of the best decisions I have made as a mother and I'm glad I was referred there by a friend. I do not have insurance and I called this practice (and a few others) to get quotes. I just wanted to know what a simple scale and polish would cost. The price I was quoted on the phone was misleading and bore no relation to the price they attempted to charge when I got there. Shay-Lee the hygienist was super efficient, friendly and very professional. I have no hesitation in recommending this practice, but if you don't have insurance, make sure you know what you will be charged before you sit in the chair.

I was amazed to discover that a cleaning and exam is $359.00 and even with the BF&M Global Elite coverage my portion is $106. If I didn't ask any questions then I wouldn't have gotten a full explanation. I have to say that the young lady who served me on the desk appeared to be annoyed that I was asking for the cost of the services I received. Also she said that my future appointments would be listed on the bottom of my receipt and the appoint on March 14th was not listed. I will call Anna for clarification.

Upon arriving at the dentist's I was told there was an emergency appointment happening and I'd have to wait. I would have preferred to have been informed this when you called before my appointment and told to come in half an hour later rather than sitting in the waiting room wasting time, which I could have spent at work.

Dr. Reiss is excellent and did a lovely job of correcting my overlapping bottom teeth with two cavities in between. My Mother is thrilled with the results! The new crowns feel really good and look beautiful. Both the dental assistants that worked with Dr. Reiss during my visits were helpful and had great bedside report as did Dr. Reiss! Anna is wonderful as always explaining the finance/insurance side of things and sliding in the appointments to fit my schedule. I have to travel to Boston and am so glad to have the permanent crowns in place before I go. Much appreciation to the whole team.

Kim is so helpful and pleasant. She came into the waiting area to see how Harli's mouth was doing since I had called a few times to say she was experiencing pain from her habit appliance. When showing the children the tools used maybe have play ones and not the actual ones your going to use in their mouths. I noticed one tool to she my daughter how it worked/feel was put on her hand and mines, and we all know hands carry lots of germs.

The dental check up itself was fine with lovely dental staff and doctor but I was surprised and disappointed to get in the car (after asking for and receiving my 6 month next appointment card for my 8 year old son) only to be told by my son Nate that he had a cavity. I said no he didn't, no one told me that and we had got a 6 month appt. He said yes he did. So I got out of the car and came back inside to ask if this was true. Reception then shouted in to the examination room and they said "yes". I said "was anyone going to tell me?" and asked for an appointment for his filling. There was no offer of "sorry we missed that". Had my son not told me he had a cavity, we would have completely missed making an appt for a filling and would have assumed all was okay. Communication gap that needs improvement for the sake of patients. I still love Dr Janie!

The staff at Parlaville Dental are so professional. It was such a joy that when we arrived the receptionist without looking at her computer already knew Jalen's name. I will definitely recommend Parlaville Dental.

I found everyone very helpful, and was very grateful that my daughter was able to come and see the dentist as it was an emergency. Great customer service and I enjoyed how they explained to my daughter what was going on.

Dr.Brown was nice. Her assistant was making me at home and I was watching my favorite movie Paddington I did not want to leave ,and I like how they did it and the blanket and pilo was so comfortable. I like how you give toys out and thank you. Your's truly L'chey and Lorrie Outerbridge.

Everyone we had to deal with was good natured, but I had to wait 5 - 10 Min for the dentist to arrive. Otherwise was a good visit. Also need to let you know that the correct spelling of his name is Chioke.

I THINK DR. IRA REIZ IS THE MOST WONDERFUL MAN ON EARTH. I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY OTHER DENTISTS THAT THERE WAS NO HOPE FOR ME AS FAR AS MY TEETH WERE CONCERN, BUT I SAW THE AD IN THE RG AND I SAID THAT I WOULD GIVE PAR LA VILLE DENTAL AND DR. IRA REIS A SHOT AND I AM SO HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE I HAVE RECEIVED THUS FAR. I HAVE TO HAVE A LOT OF WORK DONE AND I AM NOT A WEALTHY WOMAN BUT ANNA IS WILLING TO WORK WITH ME AS FAR AS A PAYMENT SCHEDULE GOES TO GET THE WORK DONE. I WAS VERY APPREHENSIVE AND UPTIGHT WHEN I FIRST CAME THERE BUT EVERY ONE IS SO NICE FROM THE HYGENIST RIGHT THROUGH TO THE DENTIST AND ALL OFFICE STAFF. I AM TRULY GLAD THAT I MADE THE DECISION TO COME TO PAR LA VILLE DENTAL AND I WILL BE SENDING MY FAMILY THERE ALSO. THANK YOU PAR LA VILLE DENTAL.

Upon arrival, the receptionist should clearly greet customers and let them know that they can have a seat, as there is no sign in sheet. Also, if an appointment is going overtime, the receptionist should inform the customer with the approx. wait time as a courtesy.

The visit was good in many ways, however the charges were more than expected and when one considers $700 plus for a child's filling when the tooth is not permanent is excessive. No wonder the insurance is off limits to many. As an adult I normally pay $90 - $120, might be a good idea to let clients know they might be charged in the region on $700 plus when the email is sent out confirming the appointment. Thank you.

Amanda is FANTASTIC and makes the boys visit enjoyable for them. As a parent who feared the dentist (and still does) I appreciate greatly her warm approach and the way she shares information with them, including them in the discussions. 20 out of 10 to Amanda!!!

Thank you for making my daughters first dentist appointment so enjoyable. At 3 years old the visit could have been either a disaster or success, and I am pleased that it was the latter. This was due to the staff making my daughter feel welcome and relaxed throughout her visit. She enjoyed her visit so much that she is now telling me not to forget her next appointment in 6 months time! :) Thank you again!

Everyone was great! The cost was lower than " Positive Image" but more than I expected. That's probably because I neglected my teeth due to heavy work schedule. All said and done, I'm happy with my teeth. Very clean. She did a great job.

Dr. Brown and her staff were great and made the experience painless. Just one thing I'd note is that I wasn't aware upfront that Argus doesn't cover the nitrous oxide that was administered.

I find all the staff at Par-la-ville Dental to be very pleasant, and helpful. They are always very professional, and i feel confident in their excellent ability to care for and advise me in the care of my children's teeth. I always recommend them to my friends.
