I've been having itchy ear problem on my right ear for several years, and recently I can't even hear well in the morning. The ear was left not well treated and it has been slowly getting worse over the course of time. Dr. John Sun removed ear wax, examined it, prescribed a cream so I started using the cream twice a day. It's been only a few days after I've seen Dr. John Sun, but I've already feeling really great! I even feel like I am reborn, because I've living with this problem for many years. Thank you so much, Dr. John Sun. Truly amazing care that actually changes my life!

The front office staff is extremely friendly and professional. I have seen Dr. John Sun twice and he is thorough in his diagnosis, and explains all of the treatment options well. He also takes time to call back in urgent matters or to review radiology reports without the need for a visit. I recommend him to others.

It was a very pleasant environment and clear feedback from Dr. Paul Sun concerning the occasional itching in my ears. Use of Q-Tips is not the way to go, I had known that but the bad habit has not stopped me. The presumed fungus was better until I resumed the Q-Tip self treatment. The staff was very kind and efficient. The office was clean and nicely decorated. It took me several months to get in to see the doctor and once I finally got to see him, he spent all of 4 minutes with me and there was nothing he could do. That said, it wasn’t his fault. I have been going to Dr. John Sun since 2006 when he removed polyps from my nasal passages. Everything since could be regarded as standard care,, partly geared to keep my ears in shape to avoid infection and accommodate hearing aids. I feel that I have received the best of care from him. I notice that some reviews criticize him for lack of time spent. But he spends enough to get the job done efficiently and well. And he always has a nice initial smile and greeting and proceeds with a surgeon's touch. The only negative I would cite is that it can be hard to get an unscheduled appointment - probably due to heavy demand.

This was my first visit to Orange County Ear, Nose and Throat and it was a great visit. From the team who welcomed me when I walked through the door and my time with Dr. Yian, I felt that everyone cared about me. I also appreciated the time Dr, Yian took to perform the one test and to explain the results too. It also appeared that he did read thoroughly the patient intake form that filled out a couple of days before. Not many doctors take the time and I am grateful to Dr. Yian for his understanding of my health challenges and coming up with his first plan of care for me. I look forward to my next appointment in December.

Contrary to what I read in Yelp, Dr. Christopher Yian and staff wre EXCELENT!!! I was taken in about a couple of minutes of my appointment time. Dr. Yian came in alsmot rigth away and took his time to listen to the reason of my first time visit, and explained his treatment after a test done in the examing room. He made sure that he had answer ALL my questions before letting me go. He has a great bed manner and very caring about my health condition I will recomend Dr. Yian's practice to anynoe needing an ENT Dr. Last but not lease, the Staff was Excelent, totally a night and day different of what I read in Yelp.Thank you!!

This is an awesome ENT practice that puts patients first all the time. Beginning with the front desk, setting-up appointments and checking-in patients, and the doctors... everyone is patient, polite and very professional. My parents introduced me to OC ENT almost 25 years ago. Sadly both of my elderly parents have passed-away, but I continue to be a patient of the OC ENT. In fact, I drive 65 miles one way to be treated by the doctors at OC ENT.

It is VERY RARE that I go to a doctor's office and be seen on time. There is almost always a delay/wait for an average of 20-40 minutes of wait. This was my 1st visit to Orange County Ear, Nose & Throat. The office is friendly and everyone was very professional. My wait time was minimal and my experience with Dr. Paul Sun was great. He helped me understand the problem with my ears and suggested several things that would help... he has a great sense of humor as well and made me feel very comfortable during my visit. I went to one doctor with bumps on my neck and he stated it both of you and leave them, then I went to see you all and you pretty much said the same thing but wanted to do an exam to see what they were. That seems a lot more professional! Definitely pleased with the entire staff!

Dr. Yian is always courteous and gives the patient the necessary time and attention. He recently removed a long-standing ventilation tube and checked for a tonsilar stone. I queried whether the tube should be reinserted, thinking surely this was needed. Instead, he said, "let's see and give the ear a chance." Didn't push elective surgery! I love this type of nature/patient first perspective! Since I have tinnitus, we also did an audiology exam, which again, demonstrates his Audiologist is knowledgeable and gives time and attention to referred patients. Now going on 10 years with Dr Yian and still a five-star relationship!

Dr. Christopher Yian and his staff are always welcoming, efficient, and willing to assist me. Dr. Yian is excellent at what he does. He cares about his patients and when I have called his office asking a health related question I am surprised when I have Dr. Yian on the other end answering my concern. Considering he is a surgeon I know he makes every effort to get back to his patients as soon as he can and he certainly exceeds my expectations! I highly recommend Dr. Yian not only for his expertise but also his friendly demeanor. You will definitely be in good hands! More doctors should follow his lead.

He was really patient with me because my ear was hurting when he was trying to take the ear wax he wasn’t that rough on me like the other doctors. Amazing Doctor & Amazing Staff! The staff is very friendly and caring. The doctor gets you in and out quickly but doesn’t do it to push you out, he’s very thorough and answers any questions you have. I had an issue with my ear and he helped clear it up and I felt so much better. He didn’t just send me on my at since I was healed, he wanted me back in a month to recheck to make sure everything was going good! I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone!!

I've been a patient of Dr. John Sun for several years now. I often experience problems with the inner ear and sinuses due to medications and allergic reactions to several different substances, most-notably ordinary dust pollen. Dr. Sun is able to treat my condition quickly, with immediate result. He is very outgoing and upbeat, and listens attentively when I am speaking. I very much recommend Dr. Sun if you are experiencing problems with the sinus and/or ears. I really like the guy and I think you will too.

I am fairly new to SoCal and the previous time I had my ears cleaned was at my PCP one and a half to two years and it was not done properly. Dr. John Sun was able to restore my hearing in a matter of minutes. I will be making scheduled visit to have them checked before the wax build-up gets bad.
