Everything was perfect until check out. The checkout receptionist was unreasonably annoyed when I asked for a print out of my what I was being charged before paying. She made me feel bad for an objectively reasonable request. Her attitude didn't match the excellent customer service seen throughout the rest of the office.

I arrived early and was processed immediately. During the process I was told each step and what was done. Dr. Basinger's assistant was wonderfully pleasant, proficient and kept me informed from each screen shot and test. I love this practice so well my whole family have been patients since probably the early 90's.

Only complain. Person who checked my glasses said frames looked okay to use again but had to sign waver if frames break would not cover as they no longer carry my frames and since older could break Glasses were adjusted and new pads added. Did not realize how tight they adjusted glasses. Feel if they do break, could be from tightening to lmuch. First time ever had to sign an waver.

Mostly because of the staff. The technician who handled the preliminary eye tests was cheerful, efficient, and professional. She made the testing fun. Doctor Stacy took the time to review my condition thoroughly and answered all my questions. The young lady who helped me pick out my new glasses was also cheerful and enthusiastic - and very patient with my effort to decide on new frames. Even paying the bill was pleasant. She was one step ahead of me and my question.

I absolutely love the service that is provided here and that is why I haven't left, but it is extremely frustrating that even as I've watched your practice grow - the accepted insurance providers have not. Only VSP? Seems extreme to only accept one insurance. I truly fear in the economy that we are in that I will have to find a new practice even though I love your staff's attentiveness and customer service. The insurance is also what prevents me from recommending people to you.

I had a great experience at Miamisburg Vision Care. Their clean and easy to find building is close to major intersections making it’s location within minutes of my home. The employees- from the doctors to the techs and receptionists- were friendly and patient. The doctor I saw, Dr. Staci Anderson, was amazing. Kind and thorough, she explained everything well and took to time to make sure I was given the most accurate prescription for glasses possible. I found her to be very personable as well as knowledgeable. I’m looking forward to doing business with them in the future.

We have been coming to this practice for nearly 20 years. Never had an issue until this Vista. I experienced very uncomfortable interaction with the person who is helping me with my contacts. I am typically very much explained to what is costing me for my contacts with insurance will and any rebates. I am given different scenarios. I had to ask for this information at my vist and was still not clear other than.."you are better to get one box of contacts for each other." I was also having major issues with my contacts when I took them out at the beginning of my appointment. My eyes were burning really bad. The lady at the beginning was very considerate and didn't push me to do any extra test I did not need to. I was very much looking forward to getting my trial pair of my contacts so I didn't have to put back in my bad pair. Again the same person helped me with my contacts said that there was not a trial pair of my contacts. I sat in pure tears putting these burning contacts back in my eyes. I felt absolutely no compassion from the employee or tried to help me at all. It is frustrating I pay over $50 for a contact consultation and did not even get a trial pair or any assistance from the contact person. Happy discuss further on a phone call.

I've had contacts for many years, seen Dr. Basinger for well over 20 years. Had one question about which contacts I'm wearing right now and if I like them. Was sat in a space while the contacts are while the staff member was on hold with someone, she put in my order and I checked out at the desk. Didn't try anything on. Didn't receive samples of contacts. Not sure what the consultantion was that I received for over $50 on the "contact consultation" fee.

I had a potential emergency on a Sunday and Dr Sprague was amazing! She responded to my voice mail within a few minutes, and saw me at the office that same day. She was very thorough in her exam and explained to me in detail what was causing my symptoms, and reassured me that I had done the right thing by calling, even though no intervention was needed. Thank you so much MVC for caring for your patients so well!
