Way better experience than my previous appointment. I had actually started looking for a new office because my previous one was so bad (Doctor was rude and not understanding of my overwhelmed 5 year old and the wait was insanely long). This time we saw a new doctor because the previous one had left. New doctor was so kind and explained everything. She took time to interact with my son to ease his worry. I think we waited maybe five minutes. Only minus was we weren’t informed of the change in doctor but honestly it was a plus for us in the end.

I have never had to sign a form before when lens are replaced, acknowledging that if Pickerington eyecare break the frames during the replacement, I have to pay for the replacement frames. I am sure you guys make enough money off the frames and you are trying to nickel and dime the customer for something that is not their fault.

We had an insurance issue and they were more then willing to work with us as I got it sorted out. I have never had any issues getting an appointment or working with anyone in this office. When you need glasses or contacts they come in a timely manner.

My eye doctor is excellent. This time only, I didn’t enjoy my experience with *one* member of the office staff. Everyone else was as normal, very kind, welcoming, friendly, and efficient. This person in particular was supposed to “assist” me in picking out glasses. The way she announced “we only allow assisted browsing” came across like she had to watch me to make sure I didn’t steal them or something. I think that’s an unnecessary announcement to make. She could have just assisted me, which she did not. She just stood there and, well made sure I didn’t steal them. Instead of bringing options to me (like others normally do) she stood there with the tray following me around and checking her phone. She was useless, unless her job was to make sure I didn’t steal. I decided not to get any glasses because I didn’t want to endure her any longer. I would never post this to Google or anything, but since you sent an email asking about my experience I wanted to be honest. I plan to come back and work with another person who is not her, but I do think her attitude could have pushed another person away. Also, if a person wanted to steal the glasses, it would have been very easy with her inattentiveness and standoffish way. So it defeats the purpose.

Everyone very friendly, knowledgeable and punctual. Dr. Chontos let me set the parameters of the length of the appointment by patiently discussing each and every one of my concerns. I did not feel rushed at all and told Dr. Chontos he would make an excellent Optometric professor by the eagerness and thoroughness he showed me in answering my questions. I feel he definitely has my back in overseeing the health of my eyes.

I am a new patient and was so very pleased with my experience at Pickerington Eyecare! From the receptionist, the technician, the doctor to the very kind woman who helped me with ordering new glasses! Everyone was knowledgeable and professional yet extremely friendly and kind! I finally had questions answered that I’ve been asking at another practice for years. I left feeling very comfortable and excited to have found an eye doctor that was able to help me!

I specifically asked for neutral gray lenses. The lenses that came in have a pink tint. They are going top trying the lenses but pushed back on refunding my payment if retinting doesn't work. I'm not happy.

I always have great service when I come in for my eye appointment from the person at the desk who checks me in through the person who assists me with my glasses. The young man who did my eye test and glaucoma test was exceptionally nice and polite. The only thing I miss is being able to try on glasses myself. If I could walk around and pick some up, I think I would be able to have a better variety. I do understand why that is not allowed but I do miss being able to look myself.
