The best dental practice in Northern Colorado! I’m always warmly greeted by the very efficient Rhonda. This woman never makes a mistake! Lexi has been cleaning my teeth for years and she is efficient and capable. I adore both Rhonda and Lexi! Dr. Nielson is absolutely amazing. He is always funny and sunny! I trust him completely. No matter how busy he is, I never feel that he is rushing me. He takes to time to answer any and all questions. He is always concerned about my comfort. This office operates as a team. They work together so well it is yo can tell they enjoy each other and their jobs. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I got two teeth pulled by Dr. Brandon Nielson. I had no pain in the process and haven't had any pain even the next day. I've been eating on the other side of my mouth and have had no issues. A very pleasant experience.

At my most recent dental cleaning I was offered a traditional cleaning or a new technique called Airflow Guided Biofilm Therapy. I chose the new technique. Dr. Nielson offers state of the art treatment for several different types of procedures. Lexi did the cleaning. The new technique was comfortable and I'm in favor of anything new that improves my dental health! I also had a filling right after the cleaning and that went smoothly as well.

The hygienist did not know that I don't tolerate being layed back very far in the chair. Should have been in my chart. She started to do a new procedure that should have been explained to me by the dentist, before she layed me back and preped me for the procedure.

#3 crown followed with a root canal on same #3 is still very painful to the point of eating ibuprofen like candy to control the pain along with prescription methylprednisolone that had no directions for dosing other than a reference to dosing on package which I could find none. #30 & #31 also causing some continued pain. Trying to be patient with trauma recovery after procedures as was told there would need to be time for healing but is very slow process since May 1, 9, 11, 16 of 2023.

This is a great dental practice. I've been a patient here for about a year and have been very happy with the care I've received. My most recent visit was for my third cleaning. Nicole was my hygienist and as usual she did a very thorough job and provided several helpful suggestions for improvement. Afterwards, I was examined by Dr. Nielson and he answered all my questions about two issues I was having. Mel helped me with a third issue. Everyone here is very friendly. I especially like that they use state of the art x-ray equipment and one visit crowns and bridges.

Having had a very bad experience with a previous dentist, I was extremely nervous about having a crown done. Dr Nielson and team were AMAZING.... patient and exceptionally professional !!! I received a new crown and a cavity replacement which all in all took less than 2 hrs. Describing what was actually being done at the time was so refreshing. I felt respected as a patient and will definitely be returning to Northern Smiles Dental !!!!! The nitrous oxide wasn't bad either😉 Thank you to an amazing team!

I went to Dr. Brandon Nielson at Northern Smiles with three painful areas. He diagnosed the cause of the pain, offered alternatives, and developed a plan to address them. He was a good listener and I was confident in his treatment plan. All of the staff have been friendly and courteous at all times. The pattern for each treatment was the same. They ask if there are any questions both before and after the procedure. They are very concerned about preventing pain. I've been very pleased with my care at Dr. Nielson's practice.

The best! I’m always warmly greeted by Rhonda (who is always so gracious on the phone, too)! I’m then escorted back by either Melissa or Lexi who are both warm, friendly and comforting. Dr. Neilson is a capable, competent hoot! The atmosphere in that office is amazing. Light, upbeat, friendly. I know I’m in the best of hands with every visit!

Was a troublesome visit as I had not been to dentist since before pandemic. There was equipment problems and so will have to go back in a few weeks. The receptionist overcharged me. Called next day and said she would credit my card. This has not happened as of yet. The hygienist was apologetic and friendly. The equipment problem and that the cleaning was not able to be completed was not her fault.

-Please know I was a referred by Stephanie Newell. I don't think either of us were recognized as such, per your promotions -I wish you would not put scented candles in the bathroom. I am scent sensitive and the candles bother me. I am glad masks are handy, otherwise I could have a reaction. -Please put in my file I don't want to be lectured about the number of times, in a day, I brush my teeth.

Dr. Nielson is very patient when you're not sure you want to do some dental work. He accepts that you have to think about it and weigh the costs,etc. He's not pushy and says whenever you're ready. If however it's something that shouldn't wait , he will let you know. I appreciate that he leaves the decision with the patient! He understands autonomy.

Extremely friendly staff who spent the time to ensure all questions were answered. They consistently checked in to make sure you were doing okay and didn't experience any discomfort. The appointment didn't feel rushed and it felt as if they genuinely wanted the best outcome for your mouth. Love that they have the tech on-site to carve a crown. No waiting for several weeks for one to be made in a lab and shipped back. You can get a new permanent crown put in and you're on your way in 2 hours.

The most pleasant experience in a dentists office ever! Rhonda is friendly and efficient. She had done all the necessary research on my insurance and was able to tell me exactly what was covered. Lexi is wonderful. I waited for her in the waiting room for all of 2 minutes and she apologized for the wait!! Dr. Neilson was just delightful! Good humored, careful and took his time evaluating. Concerned about how I was doing. Took all the time necessary to answer all my questions. He is absolutely delightful! Michelle explained everything in detail. She was patient and didn’t mind having to repeat herself. She, like everyone else I encountered, was fabulous. What an incredible office!

I had a dental emergency outside of office hours. Dr. Neilsen answered his cell phone immediately and within five minutes he was able to diagnose the problem and schedule me for an office visit first thing the next morning. His service to his patients is impeccable.
