At welcome I was asked if I completed the papers I was emailed. I said I didn't receive them and the answer was 'they were emailed this morning'. So, I completed the papers and went back to the desk to ask what email address they had on file for me. Turns out the email wasn't taken down correctly and I couldn't have received the survey. Ask questions before stating facts with an attitude. Dr. Mini Ta was very nice and we had great conversation. Following the visit I was allowed to drive home despite my eyes having been dilated. It was super unsafe as I could not see small print on speedometer, etc. I've later been told by others that it's unsafe to drive. Well, they let me. Lastly, I had to ask for a visitation summary. Why do I have to ask? Every other doctor I get to I get a summary of the visit. I wonder how complete it will be since some relevant information will need to be reported about. Overall, it was too sloppy for me when I entrust someone with my eyes and vision.

The staff and doctors at new optics optometry, are very helpful and so pleasant whenever I go for an eye exam. The staff are very knowledgeable and so helpful can answer any of your questions. The doctors are just great, great personalities willing to listen to any concerns you have, and spend enough time with you until you’re satisfied which I appreciate greatly.

Unfortunately, the customer service provided by the young lady who assisted me with the ordering and dispensing of my glasses has left me feeling like I will not be returning for my yearly exam. Sad, because EVERYONE else has provided excellent customer care from my entry to my exit from my very first visit :(

My wife and I both needed eye exams. We were greeted with a friendly staff, clean building, and quick service. Dr. Ta was awesome and extremely knowledgeable. The rest of the staff was very helpful, patient. and provided us with several different options for lenses and frames. This was our first experience with an optometrist, and we are grateful for New Optix so we plan on sticking around for future eye care. We appreciate the communication and attention to detail. The staff is all very friendly. I loved Dr. Tram's patient care. The exam was very thorough. Staff understood my recent change in coverage and was able to explain it to me. There was no pressure to buy anything at that time. Although, I think I will go back to add to my collection of glasses for various uses.

Easy to make appointment on short notice. Staff was excellent from beginning to end. Exams were done with such professional manners and the optometrist was very thorough and not in a rush to be done. Dr. Ta was very thorough, and I felt confident about the information she gave me and the action steps I needed to complete. The office was bright, clean, and office staff were friendly. They had updated technology to enhance the exams and were knowledgeable about my insurance. I was pleased to see they had a kids play room, and I found out they start seeing kids at age 4, so I’m planning to come back with my kids.

The team was extremely nice and friendly, specially the doctor. But I wish the business had made a better use of my time. I had an appointment during my lunch and because they took me in late I wasn’t able to pick my eyeglasses. They just called me in after I went to the front desk to complain and I noticed the lady that helped me was chatting and laughing with the front desk lady. I think it’s great they’re friends but they should put customers first and talk between them.

The staff is overall very knowledgeable, professional, & kind. Adrianna was quick, attentive, & friendly to work with. Dr. Tran did a thorough job, fully hearing and addressing my concerns. He's pretty personable too. I previously worked for 2 optometrists a few years before moving to this area, so there is always a certain level of care that I expect. I can say from the initial exam that Dr. Tran and his team have exceeded my expectations. Keep it up!

Enjoyed my time. Opticians were helpful and courteous. Optometrist was friendly and explained what my state was. I was a bit disappointed to see that they still recommend blue light filter on glasses as research shows it doesnt really benefit the user in terms of damage to the retina. I asked the optometrist and said they still recommend it because clients say it help. I think thats dishonest because the data shows differently. Either way, i didnt get the filter on my glasses, but i am very happy with my glasses and help choosing the frames. I was a bit confused about the levels of anti glare/reclective. The levels to get seems vague. I got only the level required to have warranty. I wish they had samples on the photo chromic lens and also on the two varieties of them. Samples for the two lens types would also be helpful.

I have needed glasses for quite some time. I found out my insurance included vision, called to get some information on my xoveragr they were able to answer all my questions on the phone and get me an appt. The very next morning. I was running late and they still got me in and out quickly while still answering any question's i had... everyone here is very genuine, professional and good at what they do. I def recommend this place i had a wonderful experience.

Everyone at this location was super helpful. Everything about the process was super smooth. From the time I was let into the office, to the eye exam, to picking out frames, it was all seamless. I don't remember their names, but the whole staff was awesome. Even though I didn't start looking at frames until 4:45PM (15 min before they close) they were very kind and accommodating to me and helped me decide on frames (actually 2 of em). Normally it takes me a minimum of an hour to choose frames (no exaggeration), but the staff helped me make a quick decision and I can't wait to hear a call from them that my glasses are in! Keep up the great work!

It’s been 15 years since I had an eye exam. Once I walked in, all of the receptionist were very welcoming. It was a very fast exam. The doctor explained everything so well that I was able to unders stand his medical terminology. So I, had to try on glasses my first time ever wearing glasses. The girls made me feel so confident when I was trying on the glasses. The receptionist and the doctor they all have this positive energy. They made me feel so confident Aand comfortable.

Dr. Tran is the BEST eye doctor! He listens to what you have to say, shows pictures and the staff is always nice and polite! During Covid they took extra precautions to help you feel safe, wipe everything down, all are wearing masks ! Thank you Kristie S

Amazing staff. They ensure cleanliness, protecting their health and the health of all the clients. Loved how they have a safe area to remove the masks to see the look of the glasses on your face. LOVED how they clean each pair of glasses that someone tries on, so you know you are safe. And amazing doctor who makes the visit extremely friendly and explains everything simply. This is the only eye doctor I will ever go to again.

It is an amazing place to get glasses. They have precaution steps set up to prevent people from getting Covid. The whole experience is very pleasant. The store is well decorated and peaceful. The doctor is very efficient, happy, very friendly, and good at communication. The technician really helped me making a decision of frame choosing despite wearing masks.

So glad I found New Optix, they had great online reviews which encouraged me to schedule my first visit. The staff was very professional and friendly, helped me pick out my new glasses, sun glasses and contacts. They have a great selection of frames and were so patient with me taking my time trying quite a few frames on, they have contacts available in office, so I was surprised to find out that I would be leaving with my new contacts on! Will definitely be coming back for my next pair of glasses and contacts.

I made an appointment. Everything was clean inside. With the new procedures in place, they made sure I felt safe because they were keeping everything clean. The tech and the doctor were incredibly nice, the exam itself took about 10 minutes, picking my glasses out, and paying for everything, the whole thing took about 40 minutes.

Outstanding service and attention to patient at a time when customer service is slim to non-existent. The Dr took much time to help me get back into wearing my contacts which make me feel better. I've had my vision tested in many places around N. County in the last 30 years. This may be the best if you want an optometrist who will treat you like a real person and not just shove the eye chart at you. The location is perfect, just off the 78 at San Marcos Blvd in a building behind Habit burger, Denny's and Jack in the box. Front is on Grand Ave so you park in front of the office. This is my second visit and would you every believe that I don't need a new prescription this year?! No need to buy an expensive frame! The office is new, staff is friendly and paperwork minimal. Enjoy
