They were able to schedule an immediate appointment for me. A few years ago, Dr Percival diagnosed a serious problem in my right eye and quickly referred me to a top specialist who saved my eye. I will always be grateful to Scott for that intervention and for all the other careful and professionally conducted examinations and proposed solutions. My wife and the other members of my family are also patients of Dr Percival and for a good reason.... we always get first class service. One additional note: Excellent atmosphere/beautiful decorations in the clinic and most welcoming staff.

I highly recommend Dr. Percival, he has been my Optometrist in Kelowna for over 10 years and he is the best! All the staff at Mission Creek Optometry is great, very personable, they have top of the line equipment to do all the necessary tests and they also have a great selection of glasses.

I was able to make an appointment and see the Optometrist the same week and the service was exceptional. Scott was great and took time to explain my eye health in detail. There was a great selection of glasses and sunglasses to choose from at this location. The receptionists were excellent in helping me choose glasses and I would recommend this as a great and practical place for glasses and accessories.

The office environment was clean the staff were friendly and the service was quick. My issue with my experience has to do with the billing mainly. I asked my optometrist Eileen about a trial pair of contact lenses as my friend who referred me told me they would give one month of contacts to try. Aileen agreed and went on to explain the process that I would be going through I later found out that the process she was referring to was a $50 lens fitting service. Add not no point did Aileen mention the $50 charge she simply listed the things that she would do including showing me how to put them in explaining the the solution and providing a pair of lenses. I had worn lenses many years ago so the process of putting them in only took a couple of minutes. Eileen then showed me some cleaning products however I felt that the length of time spent on how to clean was very little and honestly quite unin formative. Furthermore when paying my bill I was not provided an itemized receipt which included the $50 lens fitting fee apparently only the receipt that is sent to my benefits provider Manulife has the full amount of charges. In other words I was charged $80 for something that I thought I would only be charged $30. After one day of wearing them I went to put them in my eyes the next day and there was a hair attached to one of the lenses which I tried to take off. In the process of doing so my lens ripped having not worn prescription lenses before I was unaware as to how fragile or the best practices for cleaning both pieces of information I assume would be included in a $50 lens fitting service. So now I am without any and lead and overcharged. I understand that Eileen is probably not and experienced optometrist however I find not being told the $50 charge before agreeing to the service is somewhat underhanded. At this point unless something is done to rectify my experience I will not be recommending this office to anyone.

Dr. Daniel Walker is old enough to have the necessary experience, but young enough to be up on all of the latest technologies and information. I found the whole experience incredibly welcoming and professional. I have used another clinic in the past, but I was not overly comfortable or completely confident, which was the reason to try Mission Creek. I am very glad I did! I will not be going anywhere else!

Dr. Scot has always been very interesting to see each year as it seems like old friends getting together, and I also get my eye health check up too! As a retired professional, I appreciate that his practice includes a training module for soon to graduate students and he encourages them by letting them complete the exam and then reviews the findings and adds commentary on diagnosis and possible concerns to look for. The passing of the torch is a component of responsibility every practitioner is not willing to give in this highly competitive and rewards oriented society we live in, congratulations for going that extra mile.
