There was some confusion regarding my Oct. 21st appt. with Dr Klair. She told me my cataract surgery couldn't be done at that time. Dr. Roth said his notes say I refused service at that time. I am very eager to have the surgery done and wouldn't have delayed. It. i have a call in to Dr. Klair to solve the problem but haven't heard back from her or anyone else at your office. A. Kemp

Angel in the eyeglass ordering department did not seem to be very knowledgeable. The lady next to him helped him out and she seemed to know what she was doing. Very happy with the eye exam by Dr Emberland.

I truly appreciated Dr Ketover and his professional explanation of my cataracts. It's rare to meet a Dr who is not so inclined to do a procedure just because it would be covered by insurance. Thank you Dr Ketover, I will wait until I am ready or you say the word on my next visit.

In my first "staff" exam they produced the "wrong" information. However, thanks to Brian the Director of the Laser Dept. who answered questions for me and assisted me in any way he could (Special person) and my great doctor who is Dr Adler... all went well after a reexamination by the staff.

I had the optical field test so did not see a doctor. After the eye test I asked the person who gave the test if I could have some eye drops as my eyes were very dry after the test. She said sure and then came back and said she could not find any. What?? I am at the eye dr and no eye drops?? Unbelieveable so I left with dry eyes and no help!!

I felt the experience at this clinic was superior as the wait was not long, the staff friendly and eager to help, and Dr Frassato very thorough and not rushing to just "get through" the exam. I will DEFINATELY refer this clinic to anyone looking for a quality eye care clinic.

I came in for a check of my eyes and was told that I needed another injection into my right eye. I havehad the same procedure at another clinic in Montana times. I have no problem with the technicians who checked the eye, but I do not believe the procedure in the room where the injection was done in a profesional manner. Dr Suthar did an excellent job, but there were 2 different ladies administering the drops in the eyes and I am satisfied that one of them was competent. I am advised that most of the drops are intended to mumb the eye. I told the young lady on two occasions that the drops did not get into my eye and when Dr Suthar injected the eye, it was a real shock. The doctor put some salve and probably some other substance on the eye which eased the pain. I had 6 injections in MOntana and on every occasion, the only persons in the closed room was one nurse who administered the drops and the surgeon who made the injection, I would recommend that your clinic adopt such a pro

Good customer service is of utmost importance to me, and everyone passed with flying colors. Not only for me, but I noticed how they spoke to others around me, and they were very friendly, patient and helpful.

Didn't find Dr. Adler had concern for condition I came in with. He was very casual about it. I'm glad he didn't find anything wrong. But, what is causing my eye issues? He could have directed me to where to go. Might not see him again.

I was really impressed that Dr. Misquitta asked me about a wart I have under my right eye. I see my dermatologist regularly and know it is a benign wart, but if I had not already have this examined, her attention to it would have been very important. I have had it for years...no other optometrist has ever asked me about it.

All the doctors I have seen throughout the years have always been very thorough in there eveluations and treatments. I have and will continue to refer the Milauskas eye institute. The result of my most reasent proceeder has changed my life for the better. The quality of life I have been given is truly a blessing. Thank you Dr. Ketover!

This is a little misleading. I was in for a PreOp consultation so I didn't see any docs - only Elizabeth who was fabulous. She explained all my options and what was going to happen.I saw Dr Ketover in May, and haven't seen him since - but I will see him Wednesday morning for my 1st cataract surgery, then again on December 1st for my 2nd cataract surgery and for consultations the day after each surgery as I understand it.

OK, for the first time, I am ambivalent about your service. Dr. Klair is really good; can't blame her for what is happening. I've seen three or four of your MDs and each has, well, put me off to another one, except for Klair. I have a situation with my one seeing eye. No one really wants to deal with it. Possibly your insurance or management is saying not to touch me. This is the message I got as I was put through all the tests I just had, so a conclusion could be drawn that no surgery is necessary. After all the messages mixed in the pot, this is where I am. Nothing. I am considering a second opinion at UCLA. I do believe that your testing yesterday was, well, set up, or biased against providing surgical care. I hope that I am wrong, but something does not feel right here.

Dr Adler asked me to bring my mother back so he could give her a good examination but my mother has no legs and must be lifted from her wheelchair into the exam chair. He did not tell me to bring an aide to lift her and said he could not do it due to liability issues so mom did not get her exam. He asked me to bring her back "again"; in ten days "with someone who could lift her"! Dr Adler was impatient, moody, and not at all nice to my mother or I. Neither of us want to see him again!!!

Long long long wait. Several other patients vocalized how full all the waiting areas were. We even exchanged information on which Dr we were seeing and our appointment times to compare. I spent more time with the tech than the doctor. About 20 minutes with the tech - who performed many tests the doctor would do with past visits. Less than 10 minutes with the doctor. so in my 2 hours there about 30 minutes was in my opinion viable. I was there for just over 2 hours. When I arrived I asked if things were running late and was told no - just that there were a lot of doctors in that morning. I would rather hear at the onset that there may be a delay so I can decide if I want to reschedule. My time should be respected as much as your doctors time. I did not see many of the staff being warm and friendly - not many smiles. Not certain that I will be a regular in the future.

He was the Doctor who identified my need to put drops in my eyes for high pressure. He thinks outside the box and uses preventative measures when dealing with a patient's health care. I had a bad experience at Milauskas specifically with Dr.Milauskas. I had cataract surgery and Alcon lenses inserted. although I was assured the surgery was a success, I had no improvement. I waited months hoping my vision would correct. I was told to use drops for dry eye and come back in a month and a half. Also to buy a pair of magnifier glasses because I could not discern any small print. At my last and final visit I was diagnosed as having Parkson's and that was the cause. I don't nor have I ever had Parkinsons disease and Ithat prognosis was not based on any scientific basis. I wanted to receive some financial adjustment and they declned any form of participation. I regret ever trying to improve my eyesight. it reminds me of the man who made the sign of the cross and poked his eye out.

Your staff needs to inform patients before they come in if the eyes will be dilated. When left the office the sun and reflective outside blinded me, I fell off the curb, and had to make my way to CVS to find some sun glasses. I waited about 30 minutes before driving the 20 miles to home and even the sunglasses that was a risky drive. I really needed a driver with me for the return home. You put me at risk of an accident and put your office at risk of litigation if there was an accident beyond my fall off the curb.

I saw Dr. Marshak who told me the surgical procedure was not necessary and recommended the electrolysis procedure. I do not have confidence any either doctor now.

My eyes required extra dilation for the doctor to give proper evaluation - recommended every 3 years. I was informed that I would be sensitive to light, but since I don't wear sunglasses, the ride home was difficult. I had to squint my eyes almost shut because the pain from the light was intense. I also developed severe headache which I think was related to the dilatation. I would recommend that you stress that the effect of the dilatation can be moderate to severe for some patients and sunglasses should be required for those driving.

Every year after his departure I kept getting a different doctor and I was getting very annoyed until I was told to ask for Dr. Emberland. I have enjoyed our visits so far so I am hoping we can build a healthy family-patient/ doctor relationship since I have 6 members in my family. So far 2 of us have visited Dr. Emberland so it's a great start.

My initial appointment, I had to leave because I was waiting for 30+ minutes and the front staff did not keep me updated. I asked the staff why is it taking so long - she checked and came back and said sorry - the doctor is running late. It is best practice in patient care to always keep the patient informed - as such - I felt like I was not informed and only a number. I told them I have to go - so she rescheduled me for the following week. My next appointment - I waited 15 minutes - then Dr. Frassato greeted me. She is a good doctor and very thorough - but she does not have great people skills. I had to ask her a couple times to repeat what she said as she was speaking too low. She also didn't seem that she cared that much by the demeanor in her voice. I could be wrong - but again - I did not feel a lot of care for being her patient. You charged me for a $20 co-pay which I knew about. Then you said I was being charged for a contact fitting - which I was never informed about.

For the past year, I was concerned re: what was diagnosed as a cyst in my eyelid against my eyeball. Dr. Ketover examined, studied, and advised me that it is not affecting my vision. It does not. It was comforting to hear that diagnosis and the advice to not worry. Yes, it could develop into some future problem, but it has not changed since first diagnosed, about 9 months, or so, ago. Dr. Ketover is one of the best physicians I have ever visited regarding eyesight. An outstanding individual. The attendant who examined me in preparation for the doctor's entrance, was outstanding, as well. I did not ask her name. She was thorough and patient with me. No complaints whatsoever regarding this latest visit to a wonderful facility.

I go once per year for plaquinal screening. Before coming to Milauskas I went to Dr. Schwartz at EMC but due to insurance change from Anthem to Medicare I changed to Milauskas. The one thing I find significantly more of a problem with Milauskas is the fact I was able to complete the eye exam, visual fields test and eye Dr. visit all within less than an hour at Dr. Schwartz while I have to make three separate appts. to complete the same test.

Over all, it was a great experience. One more thing. It was also nice having an office open during the noon hour. My A/C was out in my vehicle and I was able to go in a cool off while waiting for my appt at 1PM.

I waited almost an hour and a half. It really turned me off. I am a real estate broker and I know for a fact that if I asked my clients to wait an hour and a half to see me, they would go somewhere else. Whoever schedules your appointments needs to consider a different method.

Dr. Adler is the reason that I went to went to Milauskas. His medical background and experience are excellent and I needed a doctor with that background for my severe dry eyes secondary to 3 previous lasik surgeries. I have complete confidence in his experience and knowledge in treating me first with antibiotics to reduce the inflammation and if that doesn't work other treatments that he explained to me. My only suggestion is improvement with the wait time. My appointment was at 3:00 p.m. but I didn't get to see the doctor until 4:45. If a medical emergency was the cause that is explainable, otherwise the staff that books patients should try to avoid such a long wait for a patient. My friends have gone to Milauskas and never waited that long - so I hope this was just an anomaly. Nevertheless, I would recommend your office to others.

You must be scheduling your patients too close as I saw many many patients waiting as long as I did and complaining and inquirying about rescheduling. My appt. was for 9:40 and I did not get out until 11:30. Once in with the doctor I did not feel rushed and she took her time, but it did throw my schedule off for the day. I dealt with Kim Cooke at optical. She is fabulous and took care of me quickly and efficiently.

I came to the office because I felt I had an emergency situation to be taken care of -- believe it was Blepharitis. I was taken by a technician into a room for an eye exam which I felt was unnecessary, then waited at least 30 minutes for Dr. Adler and he wanted to know who my opththamologist was -- I explained I lived in Colorado and just needed him to examine my eye, hopefully treat it and I'd be on my way. Repeat, I DID NOT need an eye exam for which I was charged. This would have been a major medical claim on my insurance, but instead in the Description of Service, it states "Eye Exam, New Patient". I was amazed that it didn't state the true issue/problem I had with my eye. Won't come back in future.

I was very disappointed when I tried to follow through with the suggestions of my Doctor to have cataract surgery. I sought the OK from my Retinologist and tried for one month to get some one in your office to return my call concerning the surgery. It was explained to me later, that you were shortstaffed during this particular time. I understand such circumstances, however, I would hope you will instruct your staff to follow through when a patient is trying to speak to someone about their care. I have been a patient of Dr. Ketover for at least 7 or 8 years and have been very pleased with everyone in his office anthe other staff. I guess that is why I was dumbfounded when I did not get prompt responses about my upcoming surgery. Ruth Ann was very hepful. I was not told that I needed to return for my post-op exam within 90 days. I told Dr. Milauskas that I was going home to Washington and would not return until this winter and he didn't mention that I would have to pay for my post op exam, which was 160.00. He also didn't not mention that 50% of people have a film grow behind their new lenses, which I had, and he would charge me 800.00 to remove these films from both eyes. Also, I was told that I didn't need to sign in and then someone dropped the ball and no one knew I was there, even after I went to the front desk and asked again if I needed to sign in. I was told "no" the second time and waited over 45 minutes until I again went to the front desk and asked how long it would be before I was seen. Very frustrating, to say the least!!

I've been at Palm desert office and haven't been pleased with the customer service either. The La Quinta office has always done a good job both front office and back office all around. I would not return to your Rancho Mirage office ever again. I'm very pleased with Dr. Emberland otherwise I wouldn't return to Milauskas Eye Institute.

Dr adler didnt even read my chart which explained that I had glaucoma and diagnosed my problem as being delivered at birth with foresepts. The reason for me having the exam was for chemical burns to both eyes.I did not apreaciate the arrogance at a time when I was was fearful of not knowing what my diagnosis would be.Very unprofessional.

The nurse that placed me in the room was less then congenial and did not seem interested in her work. It would have been helpful for her to explain an approximate wait time to see Dr. Marshak, once placed in the exam room. Additionally, I would encourage you to have your check in team advise of wait times when running off schedule. I found Dr. Marshak to be an outstanding physician. He is professional, caring, and clearly very interested in providing the best and most appropriate care.

I was having pain in my right eye and have been a patient at Milauskas for about 2 years. The front office staff did everything to get me seen that day. Dr. Schmidt diagnosed my problem and prescribed antibiotic that ended my pain immediately. I am very satisfied with my treatment at Milauskas.
