I just really appreciate being educated when I go into a doctors office. It’s nice to know the “why” behind pains that I have or the reasons they’re telling me to do something in particular to make my health better. Dr. Klawitter took the time to show me different examples of shoes that would be effective for me just by pulling up shoe websites. She also looked at my shoes that I was wearing and told me why they were ineffective from the wear and tear, how the heel wiggled, how the sides weren’t supportive enough, etc. Now I feel like I can make more educated decisions when it comes to shopping for footwear, as well as prevent my body free from injury and have less pain in my day-to-day life. I also appreciate how she gave me a venue for communication if I had specific questions about shoes while I was in the store.

We had been waking up in the middle of the night several times a week for over a year with our 3 year old. Our daughter would have tears running down her face. The x-rays showed what my Mom heart already knew, it wasn't just growing pains. With her feet curling into a C, at night her foot would spasm and and send pain up to her knee.

The doctor that I saw was amazing. He listened to what I told him. I have been in pain for a long time . My left heel was very painful. The only relief was to sit down & put my foot up. I have had dupuytren's contracture in left hand for over 30 years and have had 4 surgeries. It appears it can affect your feet also, who knew. I have had trouble with left foot pain from nodule and scheduled a consultation to see if a different support or shoe would help as I am a passionate cyclist. She has had success with a minor surgery procedure releasing the tendon. Gave me hope. Very detailed analysis of feet and explained a lot of problems I have been having due to OA and RA. Excellent diagnostician!

Dr. Klawitter is amazing on diagnosing the problems with my toes. Each foot had a whole set of previous problems including two extensive surgeries. For the first time I could understand the causes of the pains I have with walking. I am very active and walking is critical for me to continue doing what I love which is traveling, hiking through ruins and being a docent for a museum. She explained the worst case scenario while supporting starting with less aggressive treatments ideas. Knowing the worst possibility, actual gave me hope that I would be able to manage the pains and eventually get them resolved. I have never had a doctor who could explain feet so well. I came in totally discouraged that I would have to live with pain and left with hope I could manage it. Dr. Klawitter listens and knows how to help.

First of all, both my wife and I take exception to some random 1's and 3's rated reviews for Mid Plains Podiatry and Dr. Klawitter. She and her entire staff earned my 10 rating based upon their being professional, extremely/knowledable/informatiive, and attentive in addressing all of my concerns. As a matter of fact, the services that were provided made me somewhat guiilty for NOT leaving a TIP when leaving the office. It's great to see there's still talented medical professionals that truely care about their patients.

When I pulled out my information for the doctor, I explained that I know my size is an issue, but I want to check everything else out. I had lost almost 200 pounds when I had to stop working out due to a foot injury. In the foot still hurts. The first thing the doctor said when she came into the appointment was “you know this has to do with your weight, or you won’t be successful at weight loss surgery because you have to change your eating and drinking habits, and other rude comments. She even said “my cousin had that surgery done and she’s been eating and now she is back to being as big as a house quote the way she approached me was wrong and I don’t feel like I should’ve known anything about her personal family.

Smiles on exiting patients’ faces prepared us for the excellent experience we had during our first visit to Mid Plains Podiatry! From my first telephone call to arrange my visit, Amanda took my call and very clearly explained to me the form to fill out before arriving for the visit on the next day. When we arrived for the visit, we were surrounded by smiles and clear communications from all personnel, clerical, “nursing” and Medical. Dr. Forsung was very willing and patient listening to the history that led to my toe nails and their ugliness and then proceeded to trim them without causing any pain or bleeding - conditions that had always accompanied previous treatments! Well everyone with super nice and I love the place but I ended up with those shots that gave me an infection in both of my feet or I'm. Allergic to whatever she gave me. My feet have never been the same since I did have one good foot. I can walk on now. I don't have either and I can feel the needle. On the bottom of both of my feet like it left a knot there so I don't know how you knew where to hit miss but now my left foot. Which was my good foot everytoe hurts? It didn't before my right foot nothing moves but everything hurts. But I do want to thank each and every 1 of you for putting up with me. Thank you so much have a blessed day

Dr. Forsung and his assistants were very welcoming and efficient. We did the consult on Wednesday and the procedure on Thursday. There was minimum wait-time from check-in to being brought back to the exam room. Dr. Forsung came in right away on both appointments. I really like his demeanor and the friendliness of the staff. Basically I chose this facility because it was near my home. I was hoping to see one of the female doctors, but I was scheduled with the PA. He was knowledgeable and spent a good deal of time talking with me before injecting my heel. I was also surprised that the first person who took my blood pressure did not introduce herself as the others who followed her did.

I had the Keriflex treatment done on my big toes. One of the nails came loose the first day, and actually came off completely the next day. I’m not blaming the technician, I was just disappointed with the results considering the cost to have the procedure done.

I had read an advertisement in the Omaha World Herald about a new way to replace a nail and took a chance. The nurses and doctor were so comfortable and friendly. It's always helpful and appreciated whenever I see Dr. Klawitter. I thought I had only a bruised toe, but she took one look, ordered an X-ray, and here I am with a Velcro sandal for a month. I was disappointed with my visit on July 21, 2021. The first problem was Dr. C Klawitter far too quickly concluded that, because I am PRE-diabetic, I have no or little feeling in my toes. It had been 3 months since my last trimming, which was too long, and my toenails were too long for about one week before July 21, i.e. since about July 14. Believe me, I was having pain because my toenails were too long between July 14 and 21. Also, the too long nail on my R. 4th toes was digging into my R. 3rd toes, and you and your assistant concluded I could not feel that. I am sure I did feel that pain along with the other pain I was experiencing because my nails had not been trimmed for 3 months. Secondly, Dr. Klawitter trimmed my L. 4th toe too close, and it hurt for the next several days. But the big disappointment was the rough way she trimmed my R. big toe. She took a large chunk of that nail, and the toe bleed right after that. We both know I have a problem there with a toe that has too much curve in it and thus I have an ingrown problem with that toes. Dr. Klawitter said "WE ARE GOING TO OPERATE ON THAT TOE." When she said "we", I don't think she was talking about me, but rather her and her staff. She did not explain why the operation was needed, did not explain the operation or how it is done or the method of anesthesia. She just said "we" are doing it. Funny thing, but I thought whether or not the operation is done is MY decision, not hers. She did not consult, explain, advise or ask my opinion. She just made the decision on her own. I think she needs to review her ethics courses from dental school. She missed so many markers of good ethical practice.

Dr. very friendly explained to me about my foot growth being a small bunion/cist and my toe nails looked good! To the ladies at the front desk, All I was doing was talking, when I saw the sea salt I started talking about my daughter having a soap+ business--It didn't occur to me that you probably thought I was making a sales pitch. I wasn't, just proud of my daughter and I was in need just to talk to someone. Thank you for allowing me to rattle on. I arrived at the office at 5:00pm My appointment was at 5:15pm the nurse came and took me in at 5:50pm and then i had to wait for the doctor for like 20 more min for her to see my issue by the time she was done i left the office around 6:35pm i mean almost 2hrs in that office and i was there early they took a while just to see me. They need to work on their speed.

I arrived at my appointment having extreme pain in my left foot. After X-rays and an extremely thorough exam, Dr. Klawitter explained that I had Tarsal Tunnel. She took time to explain what the condition is and how we would begin treating it. She also reviewed the appropriate shoes to wear. I received excellent care, immediate pain relief, and a follow up appointment. I am so glad that I found Dr. Klawitter!

The people who have taken care of my toe nails after Dr. Penny clipped them back have always done a wonderful job and spent an amount of time sanding them. The young lady who took care of my nails on the 11th, hardly touch my nails and I didn't realize how she had left my left large toenail thick. She put very little effort into my nails. I'm very disappointed in the job SHE did and I guess I'll have to pay better attention next time/

Dr. Penney is very courteous and thorough with his care. I feel, after his care, my feet are doing okay. The follow up to his care is awesome. Filing my nails with the powered emery is great leaving no rough areas on my nails. Cleaning between the toes and rubbing lotion on my feet is sooooo great. The offer to help me put on my shoes and socks is very good. I have had to have Podiatry care, because of my diabetes, for 17 years and as a result I've had several Podiatrists. Considering all of those past Podiatrists, your care is so superior. On a scale of 1-10, the other Podiatrists get a cumulative 6. On the same scale, I give you a 10+++
