Dr. Timko and staff are great! She took her time with me and each of my children. My kids said she was the first eye doctor to ever "explain" things to them, which they REALLY appreciated. She nor the staff has ever rushed us, and I'm a fan of the last appointment slot, so that says A LOT. Everyone is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Most importantly, they don't sell you on the more expensive products/glasses either. They understand everyone has a budget, and they work with you and help you choose frames that fit your budget and your face well. So glad we found Insight Eyecare!

Dr. Timko is a life saver! She is friendly and very knowledgeable in her field. I couldn’t see well and she examined my eyes and gave me contact’s to try and it was amazed how she prescribed contacts that worked great! I can see well again! I’m so grateful for her expertise! If you want mass produced and "take a number" treatment, this place is not for you. I can't say enough good things about the entire staff at Insight. Just a very welcoming and thorough examination and a great selection of frames. We need to get back to a place in time when business owners actually cared about their customers and took the time needed to do it right. Everything today is a fast food mentality approach (America's Best, I'm talking about you). We need to do better and Insight is a clear example of how it's done!! Thank you!!

Dr. Timko and her staff help me in an emergency situation. She fit me in and provided excellent care. I had left my contacts in too long and created an ulcer on my cornea. She prescribed antibiotic drops and did follow up the nest week. All of her advisement was spot on. Will definitely use her again for my eye care.

Friendly and knowledgeable service from both the staff and Dr. Timko. My vision coverage is a little complicated and covers a lot more than most. They do not try to push extras that we don't need just because my insurance will cover it. In fact, Dr. Timko was the first to explain to me that because my prescription had not changed much and I had several pairs of glasses at home already, I could use my frame credit towards my contacts. Before showing my daughter their frame selection, they confirmed with me what our spending limit. We will continue to be repeat customers.

After moving from eye doctor to eye doctor locally for a few years, I have found a really great one in Dr. Timko and Insight Eye Care! Dr. Timko is very thorough, and you can tell she knows what she is talking about. She is also very easy to talk to, and she listens, which seems to be a rarity with any doctor nowadays. Everyone in the office is also really welcoming, as if they are genuinely happy to see you when you arrive! Rema who handles insurance/billing is also really nice, and so easy to work with, plus she is very knowledgeable when it comes to your specific insurance plan. I would (and will) recommend Insight Eyecare to anyone I know looking for a good eye doctor!

Dr.Timko is one of my favorite doctors of any specialty! Her office is warm and inviting and the staff is always so friendly. I'm always there alone with my kids and not only is Dr.Timko great with my 6 year old, white just started getting exams, but they are always amazing with my 4 year old keeping her distracted or entertained during my exam. They always take extra time to make sure we're getting the best deal with insurance and buying contacts and whatnot. We absolutely love them and highly recommend.

I have gone to a few different eye doctors, and I would absolutely recommend Insight Eyecare. With my new insurance I was able to make an appointment the same day I called, and ordered my new glasses within 2 hours of the first call. The office staff was extremely helpful with navigating my new insurance, and helping me choose the perfect frames. Dr. Timko is knowledgeable and professional. Her guidance was greatly appreciated. I cannot wait for my new glasses to come in!!

Dr. Timko and her staff make every effort to ensure that you are happy with your experience. Dr. Timko addresses your concerns and is very efficient - my appointment was less than an hour! The front desk staff, specifically Nina and Reema are careful, polite and thorough. I came here to officially make the transition from wearing glasses to wearing contacts full-time before my wedding next year. Reema remembered this detail, wished me well, and she is just as excited as I am for the upcoming celebrations.

I saw Dr. Timko when she was in Bridgewater Commons Mall and I liked her then. This was five years ago. I needed an eye exam and just happened to receive an email that she had moved to Somerville and was thrilled to have that information and promptly booked an appointment. Rema was so extremely helpful in finding my vision insurance, as my company was not very thorough. As the benefits coordinator for my company, Rema provided me with all the information I could've possibly needed so I could go back to work on Monday and pass it on to my employees and this was in the last 30 minutes before the store closed on a Saturday. I expected her to become irritated or even rushed but she was nothing short of delightful. In person she was exactly the same - such a pleasure to do business with. Nina was a pleasure and Dr. Timko worked with me to ensure I was getting the best possible prescription for my new eyeglasses, as I have VERY bad eyesight. I was not rushed by any member of the staff and they took the time to help me choose two pair of frames that I was extremely happy with, giving me their honest opinions and not just trying to sell me the most expensive ones. I will NEVER go anywhere other than Insight Eyecare/Dr. Timko. Her and her staff are EXCELLENT and the new store is absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Dr. TImko, Rema, and Nina!!!

Everyone in the office is super friendly. (I also love purple, so that's a perk too.) Making an appointment was very easy. They checked my insurance ahead of time and told me what I would be responsible for which is extremely helpful. Dr. Tmko was very thorough and has great interpersonal skills. I have to admit, I have been avoiding eye care because every other doctor I have been too has swept my concerns under the rug. Dr. Timko listened to my concerns and came up with active solutions to my worries. I made the appointment thinking that I would be getting glasses, but after she assured me that contacts were the way to go (I was totally skeptical), I totally agree! She gave me a sample pair to try for a week and then come back for a follow-up in a week. The contacts are AMAZING. I wouldn't have thought I would like them so much!

When first walking into the new office in Somerville, I instantly fell in love with the atmosphere behind the walls of glasses. I was greeted with delight and my appointment was instantly accommodated. The selection of glasses was varied and up to today's styles. I purchased the perfect frames for myself. I will be going to Dr. Timko for the rest of my eye care needs from now on.

I discovered this location in my local mall by chance one day; noting how they have wonderful deals on glasses but I needed contacts urgently running on my last pair and I went in. They are swift in attending you or acknowledging what you need. If the doctor is in, she is very attentive, friendly and spends a good amount of time depending on the need. Since I was in a hurry, they were very accommodating to have me fitted for contacts and my supply restocked at a competitive price. I would recommend them to anyone I know who needs eye care - they work with insurance and check to get you the most out of it.
