I needed to see a doctor for my eye and didn't want to go to urgent care or the ER. Thankfully McMillin Eyecare has Saturday hours! I called and they immediately worked me in that day. Dr. Billy was excellent. He explained each step of his treatment before he performed it to keep me at ease and took care of my eye. If I had been forced to wait until Monday I probably would have done more damage. I am forever thankful to him and McMillin Eyecare. I would highly recommend either Dr. McMillin anytime!

I was needing to see one of the physicians at the center quickly and I was worked in within 24 hours. What could have been a serious eye problem was taken care of promptly and my eye is on it's way to healing. I’ve been going here for 5+ years now. In all of my visits they have made me feel right at home and took care of all my needs from ordering contacts, frames and lenses, as well as the routine eye exam. Dr. Billy has a great personality and comes through as a genuine person that cares about you. Combine all of this with accurate diagnosis of your prescription is a winning combination for patients. They make great recommendations on new products, but never push you to buy from them or take something you don’t need. They are fair, honest, and honorable people. I would give them more than 5 stars if it was an option.

The exam was a great experience overall. I hadn't been in about three years, and the entire examination process was thorough and efficient. The deployment of new camera technology to examine my eyes was well worth the upcharge and eliminated the need for the dilation drops and the extended recovery from the drops. Dr. McMillin went into very specific detail on the condition of my eyes, and was extremely thorough. Excellent throughout. The subsequent eyeglass purchase, however, was far less than satisfactory. I found a suitable frame, and the order was placed. During the process, I asked about the delamination I was seeing on my older pair, and was told it was due to major impact, which is simply not the case. I was also told they were no longer under warranty which is understandable given the age of the glasses. However, as I told Dr. McMillin, I have only been wearing them heavily over the last six months or so, and to see this issue raises concern about the durability of the lense. It is a progressive transition lense, and they are expensive. My new ones will also be progressive transition with the anti-glare coating, and I remain concerned about the delamination. When I arrived to pick up my new glasses, I immediately noticed a HUGE crack in the frame right at the top of the bridge. In fairness, the lady who was handling my transaction stated she didn't know how she missed the crack. Still, a wasted trip. I paid over $500 for the glasses, in addition to whatever the insurance covered, which seems crazy expensive. At any rate, my review for the eye exam is five stars all the way. That said, the eyeglass selection process is rushed, and I'm seeing quality issues on very expensive glasses and lenses.

Dr. Billy is wonderfully patient and skilled! It was my kids (8 & 5) first time getting their eyes ckd and he did such a great job putting them at ease and helping us figure out next steps. My husband and I have been going to McMillin Eyecare for 10+ yrs and drive a good distance to do so. He and his office staff are 100% worth the drive! Their office also has a huge selection of sunglass and eyeglass on hand to try on and the turn around has always been super fast. Highly recommend!

I could not be more pleased with the level of care provided by both doctors. I had an infection and both doctors went above and beyond to make sure I was cared for even over a holiday. I was called after hours from home and met at the office even when it was closed to make sure healing was progressing. I was truly treated like family and could not be more appreciative.
