My recent experience in an emergency replacement of two crowns was very good. One had fallen out (which I did not realize; I thought only part of it was gone). In spite of two weeks passing before I could find the time for an appointment, I was seen right away. My gum and root area was cleaned without the need for a root canal. it was a long session, but I left with two temporaries and had new crowns within two weeks. I am happy to recommend the Mayo practice. Their doctors and staff are all friendly, courteous and helpful.

My hygienist Anton does a great job cleaning my teeth and explaining to me EXACTLY how best to maintain them. My cleaning always ends with an exam and thumbs up by the Dentist. Outstanding service. The initial exam and cleaning were very well done. My final exam from Dr. Mayo was great. It was his recommendation to use a water pic several years ago that, I believe, literally saved my teeth. I was fighting gum disease despite long brushings and constant use of floss. I used a water pic as a kid, but found it to be not very useful. 40 plus years later the technology improved greatly, and I never would have thought about it had it not been for Dr. Mayo's suggestion. Again, thank you from a very loyal customer.

My husband, Chuck, had a dental cleaning on February 4, 2021. He had a substitute dental hygienist, Ellen, who couldn't have been any kinder. The entire staff is, always, but Chuck is battling dementia so some days are better than others. Everyone took special care of him, even though I was just waiting out in the car: Ellen even walked him outside in order to avoid any additional stress to him. It's an insidious disease and he's lost a fair junk of ground this past year but the gentle care given to him, by all he met, means so much to me. It's one more opportunity to keep him home, and safe. Thank you each.

I was a new first time patient with a bit of an emergency situation. Without hesitation they fit me into their busy schedule on the same day I called to set up an appointment. Two things. First, they really do handle dental emergencies as a priority and secondly, I must emphasize the word “Family” in the name of this business. Yes, the doctors are from the same family but the staff and the patients are all treated like family too. It was a great, professional, friendly experience!

Everyone in this practice is wonderful! You’re treated like “family” from the time you walk in the door. I’ve been going here for years and I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. Most people would rather be boiled in oil than go to a dentist. You won’t feel that way after your first visit to the Mayo practice.

This practice is simply the best I've ever experienced with any type of medical care, let alone dental care. I always hated going to the dentist because they didn't put much effort into making you comfortable and rushed you in and out, but the Mayo practice has always made me feel at ease , welcome, and important. Everyone in the office makes the experience great and the medical staff and dentists truly care about getting to know you and caring for your needs. I always feel well educated about my dental health after leaving and any issues I may need to watch over before my next appointment.

Each member of our family walks away from each appointment happy, not traumatized. The staff are genuine, cheerful and encouraging, and the dental work is thorough and painless. When it comes to teeth, gums and nerves, there is always the potential for pain, so realistically there is discomfort at times, but never due to something they do wrong, but to something that needs attention or insight. The cleanings and checks are done with care. We are happy that they are so good at what they do, and that they are in our town.

I have been patient for over 17 years and regard this practice and the Doctors as family. They are responsive and have been invested in great care for my wife and I. My son's first appointment (he's 3 years old) was awesome. This is a kid who has always given us a difficult time (I'm talking EVERY DAY) when brushing his teeth. We prepped him by letting him come to his sister's appointment about 6 months prior and Holly took extra time to explain what she was doing for his sister, even mimicking some of it for him so he got used to the instruments and lights. This time around he was excited for the dentist appointment and Holly once again took extra care with him to make sure he was always comfortable. He left proud and happy! It has even made brushing his teeth at home easier now because I can refer back to what he learned at the dentist's office to keep his teeth healthy. Thank you for being a family practice the whole family can love going to!

I have seen both Dr.'s Greg and Ryan over the past 9 years, and find that these doctors offer excellent care, as well as treatment alternatives, and comprehensive explanation of your dental situation. Of course, if you want to see Dr. Steve, better catch him in the office on Monday, or on the tee box.

Mayo family dentistry is the best! They are friendly, thorough, personable and I've never had an issue with appointments or billing. Make sure to book your 6 month appointment when you go in for a cleaning. They are popular and it is hard to get in for a cleaning of you wait until you need it. I highly recommend them!

I have been a patient of Mayo Family Dentistry since 2007, and in that time, I have not had one bad experience. I usually have 4-6 appointments per year (including cleanings), and whether it's Dr. Mayo, Dr. Greg, Dr. Ryan, Holly, or anyone else. The service is always 'top-notch'. Whether it's Kathleen or the other ladies in the office, everyone is treated with respect upon entering the office. Finally, I have never called to schedule an appointment, and have been placed on hold for an extended period of time or an appointment time have not been found in a timely manner.

I have been coming to Mayo Dentistry since I moved to Leesburg 10 years ago. I know I am responsible for making AND going to my appointments every 6 months for a cleaning. The hygienist even makes the next appointment for you plus you get an email reminding you. I believe they really care about my oral health and when Dr. Greg told me I needed a cap soon I believed him and it'll be done soon. The entire staff are caring and very knowledgeable. Mayo Family Dentistry is an excellent practice. The office staff is friendly, efficient, and professional. The office is busy and always attentive to patients' needs. Appointment times are respected. The dental staff is superior. I have been seen by several of the dental hygienists; they are all wonderful. The dentists provide quality care, anticipate dental problems, clearly explain procedures, and are pain-free! (Thus far). The atmosphere is upbeat, and I usually leave the office laughing.
