Dr. Le was so amazing, gentle, kind and supportive. I have lots of dental trauma from years of unkind dentists offering unnecessary procedures with a less-than-gentle touch. Dr. Le made me feel welcome and cared for, and my teeth look and feel great!

The new dentist wanted to destroy a fully intact crown that Dr Kushner had said was okay and had no issue with for over 5 years. She would not listen to my concerns and used fearmongering to try to manipulate me into agreeing to a costly procedure that does not seem necessary. I do not trust her and will not meet with her again.

I had always harbored a deep fear of dentists through videos from tik tok and YouTube. However, to my surprise, my experience at this location was pleasant, calming and extremely reassured by the friendly, understanding and knowledgeable staff. The staff took me through each step of my procedure and predicament. I left the office feeling confident that I am in good hands.

The new Drs. Le and Lee who took over the practice of Kushner and Rifken are excellent, and they run their practice well. Nilou who cleans my teeth is wonderful, my favorite hygienist in 40 + years of having my teeth cleaned. Cleaning is significantly more painful than in the past. Our old hygienist was far more concerned about our comfort. In my last cleaning, was jabbed in the gums many times and the suction pipe dropped down my throat multiple times.

I’ve been a patient at Manhattan Dental Associates for over a decade. Dr Rifkin was fantastic and since he’s retired, Dr Lee & Dr Le both have been phenomenal in taking over the practice. Both doctors are very gentle and they pay careful attention to your needs and making sure you’re comfortable during your visit. Their dental assistant is very lovely and always pleasant. I would highly recommend them.

I have been a patient at Dr. Rifkin’s Dentistry since 1989. Before the COVID 19 Pandemic along with wearing masks, I would always get many compliments on how pretty my teeth looked. I enjoy my visits to my dentist because my teeth are healthier because of the great care I always receive from them. I work with the NY Public Library and over the years I have referred many of my colleagues to Dr. Rifkin’s Office. Thank you for all always doing a fine job with my teeth and my colleagues teeth.

The place looks great. Why though do you still have Dr. Rifkin and Dr. Kushner on your site, as they are both retired. The new higher prices are tough, but understandable. The hygienists are terrific.

Great doctors and a great staff! My only criticism and only reason for having 4 stars instead of is when having to reschedule an appointment, I have on more than one occasion been scheduled with a different dentist than the one I initially scheduled with without being notified or asked. While everyone has been FANTASTIC, people aren't interchangeable to me and I'd like to have an appointment with whomever I originally scheduled one with.

I was well overdue for a cleaning but somehow they were able and more than winning to squeeze me in without much notice. Love the entire staff, not just Dr. Winnie but the hygienist Nilou was so kind and caring as well.

1 -- You should update the names. Isn't Rifkin retired? 2 -- I had a 7:45 appointment, but I was not taken until 8. I think that has happened to me twice since coming to you, so maybe it still counts as a fluke. Also, I had to wait in the 1st floor lobby for a few minutes, waiting for the office to open. (So that was maybe 7:50. Then I sat in the waiting room until about 8.) On the positive side, the hygienist is very nice and very thorough. .

Dr. Winnie Lee is the Best. I had serious problems with my lower partial. I had a lot of pain and had difficulty eating. Dr. Lee Did a perfect job in solving the problems. I would give her the highest recommendation that I can. Best regards, James LePree

Two stars - the worst cleaning experience I've had in years. The hygienist completely disregarded my distress as I squirmed and struggled, never asking if I was ok, or wanted a break. She allowed the suction tube to affix to my cheek, pulling and twisting the skin in, abrading it. Instead of asking me to turn my head, she "hooked" my cheek with the mirror and pulled. She used my jaw as a hand-rest, forcing me to strain against her weight. She flooded my mouth with so much water I literally (I use the term correctly) was drowning - as evidenced by the 10-minute choking and coughing session I had immediately following the cleaning (and which continued for a quite a while, as I made my way home). Had this been the first experience with your office, I would never be returning. And I very well might not return to your practice unless I could be assured that I would not get the hygienist I had during this recent visit, again. (Because in the past I've had amazing nice and gentle hygienists, so this experience was quite an unwelcome shock to me!)

I have been coming to this dental office for many years. My 6-month check-up is always high-quality. The dental hygienist always does a thorough and very good job. My teeth always feel great afterwards. The new dentist I now see, who was very nice, explained to me possible options to replace a missing tooth including a partial/removable appliance. I would like to hear more about that option, as I don't know a lot about it. It could be a good solution instead of an implant. The equipment in the office also appears to be recently upgraded, so that is a plus, too.

I've been a patient since Dr Stanley Schlesinger partner with you. When he retired I stayed because the service was excellent and you excepted the Teamster Union Dental Plan Healthplex. Until recently as of last dental visit 2/1/23 I was told you no longer except my plan anymore due to new ownership. So this review will be my first and last. After 25 plus years of service no more.

Everything was alright except for the fact they were running behind so I was seen 30 minutes late. The other thing was that saliva ejector created suction with the back of my throat and caused a lot of pain. I still have a mark and it was painful for a solid 36 hours after my visit.

I've been coming to Manhattan Dental Associates for about 5 years, ever since I worked near the offices. Although I don't work at that location anymore, I still go to MDA for cleanings because they've always been very nice, hassle-free, and I never have to wait long. The hygienist I've had over the past several times (sorry I forget her name) is EXCELLENT and you are very lucky to have her! Thank you for great service.

The office is beautiful, the renovation is a plus. The examining rooms are wonderful with the blinds lifted, and the new equipment is a plus too. Nilou cleaned my teeth, in all my years she is truly the most thorough. Plus she is very friendly, makes the experience comfortable and pleasant. Happy New Year!!

I feel very comfortable with Dr. Yao. She worked on my right side which went well. Next week she will have to work on my left side of my mouth. My left side of my entire body is very sensitive since my Taxi cab car accident that happened Sep. 26 1986. If I feel in pain I will tell her I feel positive she will act kindly.

The dental hygienist was diligent in cleaning my teeth and getting out any stains. She explained that it is optimal to spend at least 2 minutes brushing one's teeth. Dr. Kushner was efficient and fast in checking my x-rays and the pressure on my molars. A good time was had by all!
