This is fortunately and unfortunately be their time. I have seen Dr. Coker for a different procedure, and while this procedure has been significantly more extensive. I am still very pleased with the work and care that Dr. Coker and his staff have given me. Dr. Coker is definitely one of the what I would call older school doctors who has a very compassionate and caring concern for his patients. He takes the time to listen to what you have to say does his best to explain any procedures and what to expect and even has called me at home himself to check up on me. He has a wonderful grandfatherly mannerism that can easily put you at ease and will work with you if there are any complications or uncomfort. I am one of those horrible patients that most anesthetics don't last long and to my relief Dr. Coker understands this and works with me to try and make the procedure as painless as possible. I had a horrible dentist as a kid and has always left me with anxiety or trepidation with new dental professionals, he managed my issues from the onset. As far a knowledgeable he seems to be very knowledgeable regarding his work and the current ways to treat the conditions always balanced with his own experiences. I have full confidence in his work and even had another dental professional comment on how well my previous implants had taken and the grafting worked excellently. The only thing you might want to be aware of is that while the office does submit paperwork so you can potentially e reimbursed. Also they will tell you upfront that you will need to pay in advance as they charge for the whole procedure which includes all the scans, follow up visits, etc. They are also on the higher end of what some implant specialist in the area do. But I also know of several dental professionals that spend time having to repair/replace sub-quality work/supplies. Based on my experiences, including 5+yr old implants, with no trouble he is worth every penny and then some.

First of all, I filling out forms and sent via email weeks before the appointment. When I arrived, they asked me find the email to forward to a new address. It's fine. Then after checking up and checking out, they told me my TWO dental insurance may not work so I have to pay from my pocket $125 doctor visit fee. Why don't they check through my two hours visit until I check out? Then the receptionist asked me for the insurance ID which I don't have (then I checked with my insurance and they said ID didn't need anymore). It has been a week but nobody tell me that whether my other inside cover (the other insurance she confirmed it did not cover, Cigna). They supposed to tell the client right at the spot where it is cover, not playing game like that. Terrible service!

Dr. Ho is great and I trust him completely. Also, the office staff is very nice and friendly. When I need a periodontics, I would only go to see Dr. Ho. He takes his time and explains everything he is going to do in detail so the common person can understand. I appreciate that!

Dr Ho has been excellent. After tooth extraction, then x-rays, he noticed that my sinuses were not clear. Had to have nasal surgery before dental implant good be performed. ENT said it would have been extremely painful had he done implant before ENT surgery. Thank you Dr Ho!

As bad as my anxiety gets going to the dentist, I found Dr. Ho to be very gentle and personable. He and the staff were very accommodating in lowering their masks so that I could lip read and watch facial expressions.

As usual, I am very pleased with my visit to Dr. Ho's office. Hygienist Betty did a great job and was very thorough, not only with the cleaning but also with giving me advice about my trouble spots. The only reason I rated this not a 10 is that there was a waiting time between seeing the hygienist and being seen by the dentist. But when everybody is busy, such a thing can happen. Everybody in the office is very pleasant, capable and professional.

The service and the atmosphere was pleasant. But I have to express my thoughts on not accepting insurance. I am not trying to tell you how to operate your business, however in the climate that we are in affordable health care is the number one priority for all Americans. I do not know how many of your patients are able to pay your service charges at the time of service. I have insurance in hope of it taking care of my medical needs and I understand if a facility is out of network I am responsible for the remaining balance. But to pay out of pocket up front it cuts into my budget. I speak for all people who in my predicament and I know we have a choice to serve us but as we grow older we seek out convenience for medical situations unless it is critical. I know having account receivables are difficult and it is easier to collect funds up front because it allows you to pay your account payables , especially your employees. These are difficult times that we are facing and as a business we have to be flexible when people are trying to make budgets count. Many are out of jobs and businesses are closing so we have to do what's best for our situation . I pray and hope after you determine what dental care is best for my situation that you consider accepting insurance. I did see the sign to apply for a care card but if I could afford to pay the principal and interest then I would not have insurance. Thank you for your time and patience in this matter.

My appointment was for 1 p.m. and I sat in the waiting room for about 20 minutes before I was called in. Then it was another 20 minutes before an assistant came and told me that Dr. Ho was taking longer with his patient than expected and that it would be another 10 minutes or so. I appreciated the update, realizing that things like that can happen. When Dr. Ho came in he did an exam and talked at length with me about my situation and what he planned to do about it. In the end he spent about 40 minutes with me, so that made me feel better about the long wait. This was my first visit and I did not know what to expect, but in the end I was very pleased. It's too early to give you a 10 rating but it was very positive overall, so I give it a 8.

I've been a patient here since 1994...I wouldn't think of going anywhere else! Dr. Coker's is "one of a kind"...I found him when I married my husband, Dr. Russell VanKirk, who retired and closed his practice in Dallas when we got married. Dr. Coker and his staff are A1! When I first became a patient, I had periodontal disease. Dr. Coker did the necessary procedures to get me on the right track and has seen me every 6 months since then for deep cleaning and observation. I'm 81 years young and thanks to Dr. Coker...have a full mouth of healthy, beautiful original teeth!! !

I was seen by Dr. Coker, soon after I called in. He diagnosed the problem, gave me treatment options, and explained all that was going on and I was able to make a good decision, with my dental history to have an implant done on the tooth in question. He did another implant for 10 years ago and it has done well all this time. He takes a lot of patience with you to put you at ease and make you feel comfortable with your decision. He and his whole staff are courteous, nice and awesome!!

You cannot get an answer, then you have to pay out of pocket at the Champions office for the same Dr. However, Dr Ho apologized and has a remedy for their phone system.

I am one of those people who absolutely fear and HATE going to the dentist. However, coming into this office is always a wonderful experience. They are aware of my fear and go out of there way to do certain things to make are I am comfortable and at ease the whole time. They are very gentle and never do anything without telling you what they are going to do and why they are doing it. They turn you around to show you screens, X-rays and explain everything. You can really tell this is an office full of people who have a passion for dentistry and love what they do. From the doctors to the front desk everyone is so nice and friendly, not to mention they have he best dental assistants on the planet! I can't say enough about this office.

Best Dentist Visit ever . I am 59 yrs old , and I have to say this was the best dentist visit I can remember . From the point of Mae working with my schedules and providing all information needed , to Chelsea's greeting and explaining how the process will flow . Then the more then thorough exam by Dr Coker and the fact that he literally sits down with you and explains causes and effects to our daily dental hygiene . Dr Coker almost makes you feel like you are talking to family . Now I have not had any work or procedure completed yet , but Dr Coker is who I will seek for guidence for improving my dental health going forward .

Prior to the visit we informed you that we would be out of town. When I went for my appointment I discovered I was supposed to have taken valium and an antibiotic before hand and to have eaten a small lunch. I did none of these things, since you "informed" me by mail about them, and our mail was held at the post office and delivered after my appointment. You need to work on another method of informing patients of pre-surgical activities. (Our mail is also occasionally delivered to a wrong address with a similar street name. USPS is not that reliable for timely delivery.)

The dental hygienist, (I think her name is Susan), did an excellent job cleaning my teeth in preparation for my surgery. She took her time in making sure that she got the nooks and crevices, and hard to reach areas of my teeth. I can tell she really loves her job and takes pride in what she does. This is my best dental cleaning ever! Dr. Coker's assistant during my surgery was equally awesome. She kept me informed and made sure that I stayed relaxed throughout the procedure. She engaged me in various conversations to take my mind off the surgical procedure. Dr. Coker was very gentle and unhurried. I could not tolerate the Nitrous Oxide gas but I did very well with local anesthesia. Dr. Coker continually assessed by pain level and gave me more local anesthetic as needed. I apologize for not remembering names. I was a little anxious for my surgery but I will never forget the kindness, competence, and professionalism of this team.

A minor peeve of mine - do not call me by my first name if you don't know it. Medical practices tend to believe they have the right to use a given first name. Some of us have nicknames, so using a given name is faux friendship. It is safer to address somebody by Mr./Mrs./Miss/Ms. "last name" until given permission to us a first name, and then the patient will offer the proper salutation to use.

I wish I had been asked more about my past experiences with dental work. I would have explained that I HATE injections on my gums. That I needed to be practically asleep before I undergo dental work because I am a nervous wreck. I have a high tolerance to regular medicines & they barely affect me . I was not pleased with fact that I heard & felt all work done on me. Also please let me know ahead of time that Dr. Coker will supervise and not do the actual work. I will need higher dose or other meds to not experience the dental (nerve-wrecking) ride. So far I am pleased with Dr. Coker and would recommend him to my friends and family.
