The procedure to treat my dry eyes was comfortable and felt “spa like”. The office gave me instructions for the before and after. At the first treatment the tech explained each step as she went and made sure I was comfortable throughout. Looking forward to the benefits of these treatments.

The staff has always been nice, knowledgeable and friendly. I had an end on day appointment on a holiday eve and they did not rush me and gave suggestions, answered all my questions and I left with a good feeling. I've been going there for my last 3 exams at 2 year intervals and have always been treated very well.

The staff at the front desk was quick to help me get checked in. The tech that was doing the pre-eye exam part of the appointment was easy to understand regarding the instructions and procedures. Doctor Fazzio ordered a procedure to check for dry eye. I was surprised how dry my eyes are. I was recommended a procedure to help take care of my dry eyes.

I didn't realize until I left that I had probably kept them there past the time of closing and am sorry about doing that. The ladies who were trying to find a pait of glasses that I would like never gave an indication that it was time to close and that was really great of them. I told them finally, I would try and find a pair of frames I like and would come back so they could do my glasses. I would recommend this place to anyone because of the people working there. Although, it is a tad on the expensive side. However, everything is a bit expensive these days.

From the moment I walked in and saw this beautiful office to the time I left; the experience was stellar. All the staff I encountered were very cordial and knowledgeable. I did not feel at all rushed. Dr. Fazzio is super nice and explains everything even items on the tests that I hadn't thought of. I love the fact that they use state of the art technology that's less invasive for those of us that are not very comfortable with any thing close to the eye! Definitely won't put off my eye exams in the future.

I woke up for work not feeling well. Had black spots in my vision ( never had before ) Called when office opened. they saw me right away. After doing the tests on my eyes they took my BP. It was extremely high. They suggested I go to urgent care or my PCP which my PCP was my choice. Dr. Bakers office called my PCP who in turn got me in right away. Before I left La. Eye Care All who had assisted me said they had prayed for me. That meant a lot to me. I then received a call from Dr. Baker that evening to check on me. I have gone to Dr. Cynthia Baker for years and look forward to being their eye patient as long as I need one.

I wish all of my doctor appointments were this pleasant. The optometry tech (can’t remember her name, but she appeared to be Pentecostal) was PHENOMENAL. She was extremely knowledgeable, very understanding and just pleasant overall. Dr. Dicarlo was awesome, as usual. I was very happy with how quickly she addressed my concerned. Again, I’m terrible with names, but the tech who helped me learn how to put my contacts in and take them out was extremely patient, extremely informative and very nice. Awesome experience for me, given my phobia of going to the eye doctor.

This office is awesome!! Very clean and practicing safe social distancing and cleaning methods. The staff is extremely nice and caring for your needs, they answer all the questions I have, even if it’s a silly question, without judgment. Dr. DiCarlo is my doctor, love her! Got my eyes dilated for the first time even though I’ve been going to eye doctors since I was 9 or 10, and they were able to get me these contacts that look and feel as if nothing is there!! Altogether an amazing experience.

What a wonderful and professional experience!!! I had a piece of metal stuck in my eye for 3 weeks. I tried to avoid getting it taken out because, well who wants someone digging in their eye. When I tell you I felt like I was in therapy ! She walked me through it and before the conversation was done, SHE HAD TAKEN IT OUT!!!!!! I went through 3 weeks of pain when I could’ve came to this great place. Her assistant was amazing also, talked me through gutting a contact in for the first time and even offered to hold my head. Two things I got from this, I’m totally too old to be so scary and this place is where I will go for now on!!!!

This facility is very clean, and all the people there were very nice! I saw Dr. Celeste DiCarlo, and she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I went to the facility for a bad eye infection that I had been dealing with for about two weeks, and since I couldn't be seen at the time the infection started I was using some general eye drops to control the infection. I was so happy to hear they were opening again for major medical needs (which I majorly needed!). They were very clean and careful letting people in the facility, very thorough in cleaning each room before letting someone else in the building, had us wait in our cars until it was our turn, and everyone was wearing masks. Altogether, I had a great visit and it's been a few days now and the infection is clearing up much quicker than before!! Thank you!

The experience was overall well with one exception that when the Doctor send me for the glasses selection part of the visit , the staff/sales person was not helpfull or courteous, I wasn't given any choices and wasnt guided to the better selection that suits my age and style even if i have to pay out of pocket for my glasses , i dont get glasses every day and it was worth it to get stylish glasses ( such as transitional lenses) even co-pay or with out of pocket expenses .

LOVED Dr. Baker + Staff!! Since my visit with Dr. Baker, I have told what feels like every friend I have about her! She takes time with you as a patient and you leave knowing that you had a thorough eye exam and that if there was something to be found, she will find it. The office setting is clean and calming and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. I will happily drive by dozens of other options to come here!

My 3 year old daughter was diagnosed with astigmatism by her pediatrician so we brought her in and saw Dr. Megan Abbott. From the moment we got there, I knew we chose the right place. The entire staff was very friendly and comforting to my baby girl. As you can imagine, it's not easy to make a 3 year old feel comfortable in any doctors office; however, they were understanding enough to go with my story of being at a "glasses store" and even refrained from using the word "doctor" because I told them she gets scared when she hears that word. I couldn't believe the amount of hoops they jumped through just to keep her happy. It sucks that she needs glasses but I'm so happy we chose the right place! I would recommend them to anyone

I was told my eye was a little red and couldn't have a complete exam. I was told that within the hour I would have an eye prescription at my local pharmacy. I was there within 2 hours to pick up my prescription the eye dr said it was an error on the pharmacy. I decided to give it a day came back the next day the eye dr and the pharmacy kept blaming each other. The next week I came in called the eye dr to make sure everything was good they called the pharmacy then called me back and explained everything was fine should be able to pick up my prescription. I proceeded that afternoon to waste an hour and half a prescription fee and a deductible later they had cancelled all my prescriptions and left me with no explanation. I finally received my medication and left a voicemail for an apology. I have received nothing not one apology or explanation just continuous blame on all parties. I did not mind the wait but a simple apology and maturity would have been going above and beyond. This was a complete waste of time I will NOT go back. Thank you for your attitude and terrible customer service.

Everyone in the office is so friendly and nice. My 3 sons grew up with Dr Baker and always had wonderful care. I have seen her a couple of times myself and she had always been great and I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Abbot today and I was very impressed. My husband has had some medical issues recently and we had 2 other appointments today and they made time to see me for an eye emergency and made sure I was out in time to make his appointments. Great doctor, but school excuse policy is very disappointing. I have been seeing Dr. Baker for over 10 years now. I love her as well as all of her staff, however I do have a problem with one important matter. This particular visit was for my daughter Gracie. I call the office to ask about what looked like a style in her eye and explained that she didn't go to school bc of the pain and swelling and asked what I should do. I was given instructions on how to treat her and was told if it wasn't any better by that afternoon to call the office so I could get an appointment for the next day, which I did. The next day after her appointment we asked for a doctors excuse for the day before and for this day that she had obviously missed because of her eye. We were told that we could only get an excuse for the day we saw the doctor. Which I thought was absolutely ridiculous. She was under doctors care, per the instructions given. (I should add that had her eye gotten better the day before, and I wouldn't have had to take her to the doctor, I wouldn't have even asked for the excuse. The reason I wouldn't have asked is because the doctor would have not been able to know for sure that she really had a problem with her eye. However in this case she was well aware of the fact her eye was certainly infected.) This is the second time this has happened. The first was when I brought my son in one morning to get fitted for his new glasses so he could wear them to school that day. I was told because he didn't see the doctor, I couldn't get an excuse for the class time he missed, even though he had to be fitted for his glasses prior to wearing them. This is one policy that needs to be addressed. It's hard enough when your children have to miss class time because of being ill or having to go to the doctor, why make things even more complicated than they need to be. I do not think requesting school excuses for obvious situations was too much to ask for.
