I like the parking it was close to the door good for Handicap I walk in the place was nice The Employees did not greet me I just told I had an appointment I didn’t see no smiles. Dr Lyn was awesome so down to earth He made me feel very comfortable. I will be back and I will inform my family and friends

My appointment with the eye doctor was very professional as he explained what he was doing during the appointment. He even got very detailed on my dry eyes and wrote down what I could do to eliminate the dryness. I highly recommend Look Optical as I have been going there for years and pleased all the time. They also have a great selection of eye ware.

Oh man so much to say and so pleased everytime I've gone in, and only reason I had to go to Walmart was because my safety glasses were only covered their by my last job. But every one was so nice very informed.

I loved that they still have you wear masks and that they still take you're temperature and that they clean the machines in front of you so you can it's getting don't and they are all really nice it was easy for me in every step I loss my wallet there and they called me right away to come back and get it

My visit was superb. 🥳 Staff from the moment you walk in gets you situated. During my intake, front desk staff are respectful, attentive and kind. I imagine they were smiling the whole time behind those 😷.....😁 During my visit the Eye Doctor was so transparent and clear with each step taken and explained in detail the general health of my eyes at this time. He was soft spoken, patient and helps you understand any change in vision.. I would definitely return for future exams and tell others about it too. Thank you all at Look Optical!

I have been going to this look optical for 11 years now! Every time I go their staff is always nice and professional, that's why I have been going there for so long. Dr. Lynn is the best! He is nice and knows how to explain very well anything about the eye.

Last Friday I saw double for a few seconds. I called Look Optical right away and was able to get in to see Dr. Durfee. He is such a kind man and is very consoling about his greeting and approach. I was grateful you could see me the next day. The staff is also friendly and professional.

Hi Look, keep in mind you asked me for a review. I have been using this location for about 10 years now. I have always found Dr. Durfee very professional and most of the staff to be courteous and attentive. Upon calling to make an appointment for this visit the staff member I spoke with was curt and dismissive, acting like it was an imposition to make an appointment. I was told the first appointment was about 2 weeks out at 1 pm on a Wednesday. I asked for something later in the day like 4:30 and her response was "No. Our last appointment of the day is at 4:30." I explained that 4:30 was what I wanted, and she sounded annoyed to have to go back to the calendar and find me another date a few days later with a 4:30 appointment available. I understand that these are trying times especially in this type of practice but staff answering phones should ALWAYS be courteous. My experience upon arriving was not bad, although keeping the door locked and admitting one person at a time seems excessive at this point. The staff seemed fine once they admitted me to the building at 4:35. My visit with Dr. Durfee was good as always. My experience upon leaving was disappointing. As I sat down to check out, another patient was trying on glasses about 10 ft. away. She had a mask on that barely covered her mouth and her nose was completely exposed. I am not as paranoid as some about COVID, but it seems strange to allow this WHEN YOU ARE LOCKING THE DOOR AND LETTING PEOPLE IN ONE AT A TIME. I checked out and asked for copies of my prescriptions to be emailed to me. I provided my email address and later received only a copy of my contact lens prescription, which seems odd since I specifically had prescriptions written for both contacts and glasses. Not a big deal, but just one more disappointment as part of the visit. I will now request printed prescriptions when I pick up my contact lenses, and I will most likely call next year for another exam. Then again, I might not.

I would give more stars, but I didn't get any help finding glasses that are right for my face and I didn't want to spend all day trying on glasses so I left with a prescription and no glasses.

Great as always! Best staff ever I return each time I get my reminders for my checkup. Each and every member is very helpful and knowledgeable. Irene is my favorite! So nice and polite and always takes that extra effort to make my visit the best!

I had an eye infection and when I called I was treated with kindness and got an appt. that day. I was seen within moments of me getting there. The Dr. explained everything to me. Would recommend to my family and friends. Keep up the good work!

I would refer family and friends to the Look Opical I visited yesterday. I was pleasantly greeted when I arrived and did not have to wait to have my initial exam interview. Following that exam I was immediately seen by the optomtrist. The optomtrist was very professional, pleasant and made feel at ease as he explained all aspects of the exam. He was attentive to my questions and provided me with appropriate responses I found very useful. I was impressed with similar quality customer service when I interacted with the young man who verified information and informed me of select options and costs for frames and lenes. After leaving my appointment I was happy and eager to share the great experience I had just had at Look Optical.

Look Optical on 44th is the place to go for any type of eye glasses or contacts. The staff are very friendly and professional. The Optometrist was awesome! He explained in detail the process of the eye exam and your Retinal Screening. He made you feel comfortable and cared about your health with eye ware needs. Wait there's more! The Optician Associate was great! She was very helpful and patient selecting your style and model of glassware.

This was such an easy visit. With covid, it was also very clean and safe. After going in, my son picked out his glasses. The lady who helped with this was very helpful. It was a very short wait to get started. They sanitized everything between patients as well. Both the lady who did the first party of the tests and the Dr were very good nice and did a great job. You all are doing a great job and make taking an 11 year old to get glasses a pleasant experience. Thank you!

My first visit to Look Optical and I was impressed by staff and Dr. Alan Glickman was awesome. Answered all of my questions (and there were quite a few). He offered visual explanations and was not condescending or judgmental when responding.

I've come to this location since I was 20 years old...I'm 44 now. They have always done such a great job for me. I always feel well informed and that everything has been explained thoroughly. The Dr's are great and the front office staff are very friendly. I am limited on times I can come in, they took me in late and gave me the time I needed for testing and purchase. I have and will continue to recommend to friends and acquaintances.

I've been coming here since 2012 and I absolutely love it. The optometrist is the kindest, sweetest soul & I am always so happy to see him when I go in for an exam. The process is so fast and easy, super informative & is an overall amazing experience.

Dr. Lynn Durfee has taken care of my optical needs since 2006, when my now late Aunt Marie recommended Look Optical. Dr. Durfee is extremely professional, knowledgeable, kind, patient, explains everything and I cannot imagine having anyone else taking care of my eyes. The staff, to include Sunhee and Irene, in the Reception area, Lana, who handled the initial exam and Sun-hi, who helped me select frames and lens options and payment are all very professional and kind and patient. I made the mistake, years ago, of trying to deal with the Westminster location, very close to me, and will never go there again. It was like dealing with cardboard personalities who, basically, didn't care if I was there or not. Soooooooooooooo, my favorite Lakeside location is where I go - much farther, but, like the old Dunkin' Donuts ad is "worth the trip". I'm anxious to go for my new computer glasses, once they've arrived and always recommend this location, whenever anyone inquires about optical needs. They ROCK!

Everything was great except the lady that took us in the first room forgot about me and another customer. She was the one that made me look for a green light and put air in my eyes. I heard the Dr. ask why we were waiting and she said "oh I'm sorry I forgot about them" REALLY? Waited an extra 20 minutes because she forgot about two paying customers? Not very professional.

I always love coming to look optical. Dr. Surfer is a true professional. Definitely the best eye doctor I’ve ever seen. Whenever I have ever called people are so helpful. Even if it’s busy. They find a way to work you into the schedule and get you taken care of. His assistant was pleasant and upbeat. The woman that handles the checkout process in the lobby also. So caring and sweet. So open and ready to delight the clients and customers. 12/10

Great Staff & Eye Doctor. Very Professional,clean,nice & quick. No complains. i would recommend anybody to come here. I walked in 1 Hour before my appointment and I was seen within 5 minutes. Great eyeglasses to chose from & Doctor answered all of my questions,worries & concerns. Doctor talked about all exams & explained the eye pictures in detail. I enjoy how he takes his time and really seems to care about his patience. Staff is also helpful and seem caring & seem to want to help get you the best value possible. I will continue to see this doctor and eye clinic for more years to come.

I felt like I stepped onto a convener-belt! I was rarely spoken to...after my initial info was taken. The dentist hardly said anything to me besides instruction for yes or no answers while I was eyes were being evaluated. And did not take the time to talk to me and explain the results of his examination. It wasn't until I had chosen my frames, the person finally talked to me about ordering my glasses. Finally after all the business was taken care of she expressed herself more personally. Which I very much appreciated. Not a rewarding experience in the least! Deona

I went into the store just to ask if they took my insurance. They offered to see me right then an there. The optometrist was incredibly friendly and reassuring. The opticians were also wonderful and very helpful. The frames are also incredibly affordable and they have a wide selection

I went in about an hour and a half before closing just to go over options. I was able to pick out two lovely pairs of glasses with the help of a staff member who was very helpful in pointing out varying styles that suited my face. Next I was able to get an eye exam with the doctor. By the afternoon there next day I picked up my glasses. Great service always around
