Lakeside Vision is so friendly and patient! They always remember you by your name and not just another patient. When they did the vision screenings on my kids, (9 months old and 3 years old), they were very patient with them and made it fun. They are very clean and sanitary and have a pleasant welcoming office. So glad to be able to find a pediatric eye doctors that just suits all my needs. :) Dr. Amy and Dr. G are both wonderful and always explain everything to you as they go through your charts or tests! Brianna is a great face to welcome you into their office. Always so happy, friendly and helpful, knowing you by your name when you walk in for your appointment!

My appointment was for " 11:00 " & I came out to the receptionist station after waiting 45 minutes, There was no apology, just told that the doctor will be with me, needless to say I left and I'll never go back, very rude, our time is valuable as well, and if we weren't to show up, we'd be charged, never seen the doctor.

Service was good once I was seen. But I did not get to see the doctor until I was there for 2 hours. This made the visit almost regretful for making the appointment because I have animals alone at home that needed care. At least when I did see the doctor I had excellent care.

I would just have to say there must be a better way of telling which room is free other than peeking in. I've been in many offices and they use a colored coded system for when nurses are in or doctors are in the patient room. Luckily I had no other commitment that day. I had a 9:15 I believe, I wasn't done until 12..... Much to long of an appointment.....only a half hour to pick out frames....My suggestion would be to organize that somehow. My husband said he wouldn't go there for the "too much time" stuff.

I love the office. The staff is always kind and knowledgeable and the Dr's are wonderful. The wait time is rough. I don't mind so much for myself but it's extremely difficult with young children. I understand in any practice sometimes things happen and there are emergencies but it's been pretty consistent the past few years to wait a half hour or more. There are policies in place for patients to be at their appointment on time, I believe that respect should go both ways.

I brought my three year old there and I was completely and totally impressed by every single person we came into contact with there. Each person I met had an immense amount of patience and treated my daughter with so much kindness. From the minute I walked in the door there's a vibe. Jovial staff at the front desk greeting you, cool 70s music playing in the background throughout. Each step of the exam was in depth and very informative. The eye technicians took their time to explain each and every step you go through with this cutting-edge eye screening. Dr Amy was pleasant very thorough during the process and explained the changes in vision between my last visit and this one. The folks in the frame department were extremely patient as I tried on about 1327 different frames until I found the pair I liked. (Which happened to be the 3rd frame that I picked out of the 1327.) Are they the home of the chain store $10 eye exam an $20 frame? Probably not for every single customer, especially if you have astigmatism and no line bifocals, add Transitions lenses in and blue blocking technology because I spend what seems to be my entire life in front of a computer for work. But what I can tell you is that the quality of the exam, professionalism of the team working there led by Dr. Amy is well worth what I paid. The bitter tase of poor-quality remains long after the sweetness of a cheap price is forgotten!

I came in to be checked following a migraine which resulted in some loss of vision. During my examination, I was told that they found indications that I may have had a stroke. They recommend that I go to the hospital for an examination. The ER confirmed that yes I had a small stroke and was admitted. The advanced equipment and the expertise of the doctors and there ability to detect this speaks volumes about their high level of performance. I'm grateful that they were there for me and able to correctly analyze my problem and guide me to get the help I needed.

Lakeside Vision was such a pleasant surprise. Not only were they 10 minutes from my home but the doctors there are incredible. The tech they use for testing is unlike any other optometrist I've ever seen and I've been going to them for many years. I have an issue with my left eye that required a second visit to determine the problem. I'm going back this Friday. They really seem to care about eye health and well being. I definitely understand why their Ads are all over the place and the ratings are so great! Truly the first time I had an eye doctor appointment in 15 years and it went beyond my expectations. Everyone was super kind, thorough, respectful (especially of gender pronouns upon request), and amazingly knowledgable. Their communication and follow up is very impressive as well, no matter how busy they might be. Ordered my first pair of glasses, in my life, and didn't feel pressured or rushed to do so. Every question or test has a really good reason behind it and I look forward to getting my frames! Immediately recommended them to my parent's (who seem to still go to a doctor who only uses the spoon-covering-eye test). Truly impressed and happy so far!

I was greeted professionally upon arrival, checked in, and directed to wait area, as I was a few minutes early for my appointment. I was then taken in to begin testing process, on time, and was informed every step of the way as to procedures being done. After testing was completed, my results were reviewed by Dr., who advised me of a condition that would require further testing, so an appointment was scheduled.

The doctor doesn’t tell you exactly what is wrong or what type of tests are needed to determine his diagnosis. Just makes you schedule multiple days to come in so he can take my copay each visit. Last visit was to confirm what his previous test mis read yet I had to pay for it and wasn’t told that before going.

Michael and I were pleased with the Dr. And her professionalism....although I was disappointed to hear my sons vision sort of decreased a bit I liked how she handled the severity of him wearing his glasses more often but not being brutal and mean...as some drs can be. Since then Michael has been wearing his glasses at school all day. I keep in touch with teachers to ensure it and Michael liked that Dr. Amy Neal said the more he wears them the less he can wear the ones with "lines" we loved the place and they're really very good at the knowledge of our vision. U feel safe and protected with ur eyes there.

The staff was very nice and very friendly. I’ve been having issues with my eyes for over a year and my previous eye doctor couldn’t give me any answers. My first visit to lakeside I got an answer for my issues. The only bad thing I have to say is I was there for over 2 hours for my eye appointment.

I went to Lakeside vision, to get my very first eye exam. The nurse Shyann was absolutely AMAZING, she made me feel so comfortable and explained everything that she was doing, and what all the machines were for. There are many things I totally like about Lakeside Vision, and there are things that I think could use improvement. Improvements could be done in the check in process, the explanation of exam results, the wearing of name tags by all staff, the use of proper disinfectants to clean equipment between patients, and an explanation and summary of the need of future appointments.

I used to go to a chain, never again. Very comprehensive eye exam, not just a check your eyes kind of exam, but an exam to look at the health of your eyes, friendly staff and a doctor that explains what is going on and answers your questions. They explain each step. In so glad I decided to make an appointment here. If not for them I'm not sure I would know about an eye issue that I have. I've found my new eye Dr. and wont be switching again.

Dr. I my opinion was in a rush. He also wouldn't listen to my preference of satisfaction in a particular lens correction. Tried to talk me into a more expensive lens. Still not satisfied with my lense after 2 visits.He Also refused to shake my hand even though they were exceptionally clean and disinfected with hand sanitizer. I also doubt he used surgical gloves when using the workplace facilities and taking PRECAUTION while using door handles. I was insulted and felt bullied. BTW not 1 case of the VIRUS has been reported in Pennsylvania. Also one particular front desk employee is rude and obnoxious at times. Sorry...You asked for it..Truth.

As I was having extreme trouble seeing close, as well as suffering watery eyes and headaches, all of which occurred rather quickly, I needed an appointment A.S.A. P.. The people at Lakeside Vision accommodated me with a quick appointment. I was given a series of tests, checking the health of the eyes and things were finalized with a special prescription for lenses. I was very impressed with the care and sincerity of the doctor, as well as the staff.

Not happy with most recent eye exam and visit. Doctor stated there was something not usual / or a potential issue with my eyes. When I asked for more information he seemed vague and said you will need to come back in for further in depth testing. He asked if I had insurance and I informed him no, I did not. He did not say anything else. At checkout I inquired to the cost for further testing, A whopping $386.00. I still do not understand what is the issue because he would not take the time to explain to me the possible problem.

The complete visit was long, appointment at 2:15 and did not leave the office until 5:30. Wow. Big outfit, long wait! Never spending such a long time in eye doctor’s. I am used to 30 minutes top. But, positively, I was introduced to new type on contact lenses that I can ditch the reading glasses!
