The Dr. Wills Vanray was awesome and really saved our vacation when I had another one of my recurrent corneal erosions while we were on vacation on a ski trip. He took care of my problem and like I said saved our vacation. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything to both myself and my husband. I can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience was at Lake Dillon Eye Care. I wish we lived in Dillon so I could see him every year for my checkups. Lol. Dr Vanray has gone out of his way to take care of my vision needs, including creating time for me when there was any significant issue with my eyes. The doctor is great but nothing else. The glasses cost was $1,384.50 and I got the worse service in the world except for the doctor. To give you an idea when I picked up my second pair of glasses because the first ones didn't work, I told the optometrist that my left eye vision was still a little blurry , and she said you use both eyes to see not only one. I had to make an appointment to return the first pair and then cancelled because I could drive at night time with no glasses and still they charged me for not making it like I wanted to go back in the first place. Before I left I asked for a receipt and the front desk lady got furious, got up, went to get it, and handed with hate.

I was given a scrip for eye drops, was suppose to return for another visit in 6 weeks. I didn't realized I needed to make another appointment before leaving. Dr Van Ray is booked at that time through the new year. I can't book my schedule that far in advance during the winter. I guess I'll wait to have my eyes re-checked next fall. Oh well!!

Patricia was so awesome! She held her word and got me in earlier with a cancellation. I was greeted with warmth when I came in and Patricia explained things very well to me and friendly. Dr. Vanray was professional and thorough with my exam. Before he moved forward with anything extra he went over my benefits with me. I ordered my new glasses there in the office, to be honest the prices there are pretty good for a doctors office. I am excited to get my new glasses :)

Dr. Vanray was extremely kind and considerate while remaining professional throughout the exam. He explained the results of each diagnostic test in a manner that I could understand, so I knew exactly what was going on with my eyes. He was patient and thorough, spending time ensuring the vision results were accurate. The prices for frames and lenses (eek... first-time progressives!) were beyond reasonable. They were less than what I had paid for non-progressive frames/lenses in the past! I was astounded! The entire team at Lake Dillon Eye Care is kind and supportive. From scheduling my appointment to helping pick out frames, I give the Lake Dillon Eye Care team a solid 10!

Dr. Van ray is awesome! He explains everything he is doing and why is doing it. He goes over the diagnostic tests with you while you are there so you have a good understanding of what is happening with your eyes before you leave. The technology in the office is high tech so I didn’t even need to have my eyes dilated which was a huge plus!

I was visiting Dillon and accidentally put the wrong solution in my eye. I called to see if I could get an emergency appointment. I could see, but was scared about damage to my eye. They allowed me to come in and stay in their lobby until they could squeeze me in between their regular patients. I was seen very quickly and given outstanding care. They reassured me and treated me kindly. If I were a regular resident of Dillon, I would definitely go to Lake Dillon Eye Care for my regular eye and vision needs.

I had an urgent eye issue that I could not resolve through my regular ophthalmologist in Denver because he was out of the office. The Denver staff gave me an over-the-phone diagnosis, but I really wanted a 'hands on' review as I am going out of the country for an extended period of time. My wife uses Lake Dillon Eye Care so I called and they were able to see me immediately. I saw Dr. Wills Vanray and he did a very thorough and professional assessment that, in the end, confirmed the phone assessment from my Denver doctor's office. I was impressed with the professionalism of Dr. Vanray's exam, and also the office staff who I had never seen before and were so accommodating on short notice. Thanks to them, I can now take my international trip with no trepidations. Lake Dillon Eye Care really is first rate and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Am so glad that we have the professional quality here in Dillon I can honestly say the Dr saved my eyesight I had an emergent issue and I was able to see the Dr within 15 mins of the call While the first analysis wasnt too concerning the Dr followed up and within 30 mins called me and said I had to go to Denver immediately to have surgery. I had the surgery and hopefully to a recovery

Everything was very good and excellent, except, having never been to an optometrist before, I did not realize that because of the drops put in my eyes to dilate my pupils, my sight for driving would be compromised. I don't recall anyone there telling me about this, and as a result I could not operate my vehicle efficiently nor safely enough to go back to work with the oncoming night. Unfortunately, that caused me to miss the rest of the day, at my job as a DoorDasher, causing me to miss out on possibly at least $150 in income for the night.

My first visit there. Greeted nicely upon entry. Dr. Melissa is great. getting your eyes examined is always pretty nerve wracking and she was great at explaining what was going to happen and showing me the images. The optician was lovely too. They had a good selection of glasses as they had just had a bunch of new frames come in. She gave feedback when I asked which was like shopping with a friend! Highly recommend.

Lake Dillon Eye Care was able to squeeze me in to see me the same day which I was very thankful for because if I had waited longer it would have become more serious. Dr. Van Ray is very competent and efficient in his exams. He is knowledgeable in his field especially with new technology. He is careful to methodically explain what is going on with my eyes. He also researched to find a very expensive eye drop that I needed to see if he could find it cheaper. My cost went from $385 to $49. He also makes himself available for emergencies. Dr. Vanray’s office worked me in the day I called! The staff was professional and courteous. Incredible experience with Dr. Vanray and Lake Dillon Eye Care! While on vacation, my congenital eye problem surfaced and threatened to ruin the trip. Not only did Dr Vanray fit me into his busy schedule and help me with the injury, but he also was the first to diagnose my lifelong cornea problem - and the he FIXED it with a stem cell procedure! Seriously, this is the best eye care experience I've ever been a part of. From the minute I walked in the door it just felt different. In a good way. Dr Vanray was courteous, professional, warm, and eager to teach. He took the time to answer my questions in a way that left me feeling like he genuinely cared. Then, while sitting out front and waiting for the dilation to take, one of the other other patients brought chocolates to share with staff. From making an apt, which often they are booked out, but will always put you on a waiting list and I can usually get in sooner if I choose. When I walk in the door I’m warmly greeted and I feel they are familiar with me and why I am there. Dr Wills Vanray, who I see is professional, intelligent, skilled and so sincerely kind. He is very busy, but is still kind and respectful to his staff, and usually on time and always gives his patients the time they deserve and the time it takes to care for them. I want thank you for seeing me at at the last minute ! You all were very kind. Your doctor was very knowledgeable and through! Really he was better than my optometrist at home. I am thinking of making him my regular provider as we are up at our condo about as much now as at home.

The entire team was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. My entire appointment was completed in less than 1.5 hrs, which included filling out new patient paperwork, my exam, and ordering new glasses. It was a great experience.

Dr Vanray has always given great care and goes out of his way to explain any issues he comes across in my exams. I recently had emergency eye surgery when traveling out of town and he gave me a thorough exam and helped explain all the post surgical issues with my vision and recommend a path to get me back to vision where I do not need glasses.

Lake Dillon Eye Care has provided the most amazing support and care for me through a stressful eye situation. After seeing 4 eye doctors in Florida without really knowing what had happened to one of my eyes, Wills immediately diagnosed it, explained it in words I understand, and totally earned my respect. He is my only eye doctor now =).

I love coming to my eye doctor. I've been wearing glasses since I was six yrs old and have learned more about my eyes in my 60's thanks to Dr Van Ray. I always feel special. He even saw me recently for an emergency. He gave me a doctor's letter that will help me from a job I recently had to quit. I am grateful. I admire his charity with kids in the summer.

Over the weekend I developed an eye infection. Called 1st thing Monday morning & they worked me into their schedule within an hour of calling. Dr. Wills was very through, helpful and I’m on the mend. My 1st visit, not a patient when I called.
