Dr Fredal takes her time so my 85 year old mom doesn't feel rushed and is able to understand all of her options to improve her vision. The entire staff is kind and professional. She was a patient of Dr Lacroix years ago. It's comforting knowing we have THE BEST right here in our neighborhood.

I have always had great, professional eye care and service at LaCroix Eye Care, and have been a patient/client there for many years. A recent purchase of new lenses resulted in them becoming quite "scratchy," way too soon, especially with the coating they had on them. I use the special eyeglass spray and wipes to clean them, so I didn't think that I treated them too harshly. I placed a call, and they ordered new ones, under warranty, and replaced my old ones today, with bright, shiny new lenses and the tech said that perhaps it was just an unusual circumstance that caused the old ones to get damaged way too early. Problem solved, no issues at all, and I'm seeing great again!

My husband and I both came in for routine eye exams. This was our first time there and could not be happier. The entire visit from the minute we walked into the door was very pleasant. All of the staff that we dealt with were super friendly, helpful and professional. The eye exam was very thorough and we were informed of everything that was being done. Dr Tessa Fredal was amazing and made us feel very comfortable through the entire exam process. When it was time to pick out new frames it could not of been easier. I can not remember who helped us with this step but she was fantastic. She made the perfect suggestions for our new frames, which we never had at the previous eye doctors we have been to. We were both super impressed with our entire experience and will definitely recommend you to friends and family.

I love my optometrist but I do not care for the American way of addressing people now. I was raised in a Polish Catholic home and am fluent in French, Polish and speak Spanish and German fairly well. It is very rude to address people by their first names unless you are a close friend. And as for the comment by the woman who measure my IPD, in Polish, you address God as "Pan Bog" or "Mister God." The same used to be true in English where we addressed God as "Thou" and not "Thee." It is a shame that etiquette has been tossed into the round file because of HIPAA and identity theft. Dr. Carey Vigor-Zierk if you don't know a doctor at least call me Mrs. Vigor or Ms. Vigor.

The office staff is professional and so welcoming! I went to LaCroix Eye Care because of an eye nevus, which they have state of the art equipment to diagnose and monitor. It’s not often one goes to the eye doctor and raves about their experience. I was just going in for a routine check up, but was blown away by the customer service, the technology, the doctor, the atmosphere, and the client care. Never have I had such a thorough experience. Dr. Fredal addressed all my issues, gave me insights into the procedures, and made me feel comfortable to be confident in her recommendations. Even while picking out my frames the ladies of the office handled it with such tact and professionalism. This was an overall pleasant experience and I would highly recommend!

I had my first eye exam and glasses in 1962 from Dr. LaCroix, Dr. Ann LaCroix-Fredal's father. I have lived in Washington, DC for the past 45 years and recently moved back to Michigan at 72 years of age. I needed several pairs of glasses upgraded with a new prescription and was overwhelming referred by friends and family members to LaCroix Eye Care. It was wonderful to re-discover this gem of health care providers. The staff person was friendly, professional and thorough. I arrived early but was served immediately. I'm so impressed with Lacroix Eye Care. I highly recommend this office.. as soon as you walk in you'll notice a very beautiful clean office and will be greeted by a very friendly staff! Everyone there are so helpful. They make you feel so comfortable. I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Tessa Fredal who was just amazing! She's so caring and listened to all my concerns and did a thorough exam on me. Afterward picking out glasses The staff all just come together and helped me get the "right ones". What a great team!! As always, my visit was a great experience. Everyone was professional and through. Dr Ann uses a scanning camera to see an image of my retina, and some small spots showed up on the scan. She explained that they are ether caused by Diabetes or high blood pressure and sure enough my pressure was elevated. Going to get my meds adjusted to bring it down. Her daughter has joined the practice (3rd generation), she seems to be just as through as Dr. Ann. First rate operation. I would recommend Dr. Ann to anyone.

Dr. Ann and her staff explain why they are doing everything they do and the results of all tests they run. And they explain each item on the bill as well as expected insurance payment. They are very clear on which tests are optional and which are covered. They give patients the option of selecting from their wide variety of frames and lenses or going elsewhere to select these items. Very straightforward and precise! And the results are clear vision and well-fitting contacts and eyeglasses.
