I’ve been a patient at Lacombe Park dental for 20 plus years, and have always received excellent care and advice. The entire staff is friendly and customer focused.

I’m usually not a complainer but the hygienist was too rough. I had to take 2 Tylenol to eat soup and a soft tuna sandwich for dinner. I come for cleanings every 3 months so it doesn’t have to be so aggressive, unfortunately the hygienist is results driven instead of being sensitive to patient pain. I would prefer a different hygienist next time.

Lacombe Park Dental has been a terrific place. i have been a patient for around 10 yrs or more. They are efficient, pleasant and helpful at all times. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

I appreciate the info provided by Dr. B while doing my procedure. It is helpful to decrease my anxiety. Also his info re having the gum back to normal within four hours was exactly right. Also there was no further discomfort as my mouth is so sensitive to most everything. No further discomfort that evening or the next day. Thanks for his and his dental assistant Janet for the work done.

Hi, My cleaning and x-rays go so smoothly, she is so easy to talk to, I have always dreaded this before, not since I have come to this clinic. I never have to wait, if I do its under 5 mins. The dentist is willing to respond to any questions I have. The office is very clean, and the ladies up front are always willing to help with any questions. Thank you Staying with this clinic :)

All the med, staff that checked me following my arrival were equally as re-assuring. Lastly , upon meeting Dr. Emmanual I was confident I was in good hands. I am confident all is well.

Staff is very personable and Dr. Beauchamp is truly one of the nicest Dentist I have ever been to. Trust me when I say this; I have a fear of dentist since I was very young; now I am old lol. He is amazing. He doesn’t say anything as I am clutching the arms of the chairs. Great staff, wonderful dentist. Look no cavities.. lol

Hi, I called your office first thing in the morning to see if anyone had cancelled a cleaning. Yes, someone did, so I was able to have my scaling done. I canceled a few months back, as I was called into work. The dental hygienist is very good, told me a few things, what was going on with my gums. She also reminded me how to whiten my teeth, as it has been a few years. I was very happy with my scaling. Usually I do no pay for my scaling. I have to check with Blue cross about that. Thank you 😊☺️

I’m surprised that a dental office still promotes wearing masks when the Cochran report has so many studies within it that state continuous masking causes harm and there is no demonstrational benefit.

Thank you for your comments. As the on going debate regarding masking continues we have chosen to let patients decide for themselves whether or not to mask in our office. For this reason we have a box readily available upon arrival for patients who are more comfortable wearing them while in an environment where, due to the nature of our business, aerosols are created. As for our staff, we have always followed the Infection Prevention and Control procedures that are mandated by our various governing bodies and will continue to do so in the future.

I have had to have some major dental work done and I am never scared any longer because he is so good he doesn't hurt me. Not even the needles. Truly would recommend this office.

As a senior, I need a dental office that is accommodating, understanding and courteous. I’ve never had a problem with getting an appointment, whether it was on an urgent basis or for maintenance (cleaning etc).The hygienist will recommend ways to better look after your teeth (if needed) and the dentist explains all procedures that might be needed to maintain good health of your teeth.

So good to be back home after almost 2 years at another dental office. I really appreciate that the wait times here are minimal. Deanna is the most fabulous hygienist who always makes me feel at ease and knows exactly what works for me. It was great to see Dr. Beauchamp again - he has the same as always warm and calm demeanor that gives me the utmost confidence in any of his recommendations. Everything runs like a well oiled machine at Lacombe Park Dental… so good to be back!

I highly recommend Lacombe Park Dental. The extent of cleanliness and protection (for clients and staff) is outstanding, both prior to and during these Covid times. I commend all the staff for their efficiency, friendliness and professionalism. Dr. Beauchamp is a top notch dentist - experienced, very knowledgeable, gentle and kind. He has done a lot of work on my teeth over the years, and I haven’t felt any discomfort at all. None! I am totally satisfied with his work. And I can say the same for Christina who cleans my teeth. I am very happy with and supportive of this Dental Practice.

I used to be overly anxious when going to a dentist until I started going to this clinic. No longer a basket case because the support staff and Doctor are awesome. They all really care about you and strive to understand what the issue or problem is and make you understand in layman terms.

The team at Lacombe Dental have been nothing short of incredible. They have taken every safety precaution, they address unknown issues until there is an answer and then propose option and most importantly, treat their patients like family. Bringing in two young kids at once can be stressful, the staff make it easy and make each experience awesome for the whole family. Going to the dentist is one out our favourite things to do, the team here always go above and beyond, reinforcing that.

Hi, When I made this dental appointment for a crown, I confirmed with the staff member at the front. I would only have this procedure done if my cost was going to be under $200.00. Otherwise it can wait until next year when my plan restarts starts again . I was told, yes it will be under $200.00 . Went ahead with my appointment on Dec17, 2020, as I was leaving the office, the clerk said, they will mail me the invoice. Two hours later, the office called me and said my invoice will be almost $700.00. She was so cheerful. I was shocked and said I was only going to have this procedure if my cost was under $200.00. The girl at the desk said the office will call me Monday December 21,20.

I am very pleased with Lacombe Park Dental, the last time I was in there was for cleaning, Oct. 26th. The hygienist was amazing when she had to take my x-rays, I struggle so much all my life, as I have a small mouth. She told me to relax my jaw and things went 90% percent better. (Amazing) I can not thank her enough for that. Of course Dr. Ron gives me great advise to what I need next, but he does say it can wait. The billing hygienist knows I only like to do my dental work when I have coverage available from my plan and this is very important to me as I pay high premiums. Everyone is very nice. Thank you so much to the team at LDP. Theresa McCarthy(Terri) PS: Dr. Ron Beauchamp will explain to me what is needed next, honest I forget by the time I get to the front desk, and the ladies will clarify my next procedure at the front desk. That is uncomfortable for me to ask again. Would be nice to have a note/print out of what is needed next or the plan next. (just a note in writing) That's just me :) And we went over a lot ! Thank you Please note: this survey has been done as per Covid this year, we had to wait for appointments, that's only due to Covid.

First visit after the start of the pandemic. The staff are always friendly and professional. The protocols put in place were explained very well. I felt safe in the environment. Dr. Beauchamp is thorough, friendly, and informs me of his findings. From start (phone calls providing the information on what we needed to do upon arrival, the emailed paperwork ahead of time) to check out and all the work completed in between, the professionalism and level of care is their priority. Thank you Christine for a good job - teeth feel great!!!

Dr. Beauchamp is great, he is friendly and eases any anxiety. Deanna is super friendly and gentle while cleaning teeth. The ladies at the front are always very nice and efficient. I would recommend however that you do not have Charlene do your cleaning. That was the one negative experience that could change your whole opinion on going to the dentist. She was extremely rough with the tools and made me bleed so much her gloves looked like she committed a crime. She also moved my head back and forth by grabbing my face with those bloody gloves. She spoke to me like I was a child the entire time. Fumbling with tools, resting them on my chest, just sloppy. I couldn’t wait to get out of there. Avoid her and your experience will be great.

Definitlrly wold recommend this Dentist. Both were top-notch attendants. Lacombe Park Dental has been the best towards my dental needs in the City of St. Albert. I have been to this dental office for over two years. Each time the whole experience is very positive from the time I walk in the door until the moment I walk out the door at the end of my sessions. The positive energy and friendliness permeate from the front office to the dental hygienist’s chair (Christine) to the dentist’s chair (Dr Beauchamp). Everyone explains things thoroughly to me. I had left a great dentist due to a recent move and was so relieved to find this office (referred by the previous one). These things don’t happen magically. I actually have a concern that in the last year i spent alot of money on getting a root canal and cap, and i feel like i opened a "can of worms." Now i may have a broken root, that is going to cost me more. I wish i would have left it alone. I put the money into the tooth to save the tooth was my understanding. UP to now i have excellent service, just never had anything serious with my teeth. I guess i should have asked more questions. I just don't want to waste to much time with Dr Beuchamp. I sense he is extremely busy.

Dr. Schmidt is amazing at what he does. Does great work, patient, informative, and makes my young children feel at ease that they actually enjoy going to the dentist! My 8 year old has had some issues with adult teeth being stuck on the roots of other teeth and not coming down, needing a baby molar pulled as a result, in addition to having a cross bite. Dr. Schmidt explains everything really well to my daughter and myself so we can make the most informed decisions regarding her treatment and everything has gone really well. The office staff are all very friendly and welcoming, a great play area for kids, clean, modern and comfortable. From the moment you walk in, to the time you leave, you feel well taken care of.

I was extremely disappointed at the end of our appointments this week to learn that two of three children's check ups/cleanings were not covered by our insurance, because we had been in just 7 months prior. I realize that it's my responsibility to know my insurance coverage, and I do, but I trusted the receptionist to let me know that it had only been 7 months since our last check up. I would not have made those appointments, as we dont' have any concerns and could easily have waited another 2 months. Now we are out $330. Usually the receptionist checks when our last visit was and we schedule accordingly. It was somehow missed this time. I asked if something could be done about the cost, and the receptionist said she would speak to Dr. Beauchamp and get back to us. Hopefully we can work something out.

Dentist and Dental Assistance are excellent. Have been coming here for a long time and always very satisfied with Dr. Beauchamp! The front office staff, who bills the insurance companies need to do their job better. I was over charged in July and in August. When I was in July I told the staff member who bills the insurance company I only have one insurer now, the staff person failed to change it correctly, if at all on my profile on the computer and because of that I had to pay much more out of my own pocket than I should have. I had to pay $115.00 more out my own pocket than I should have in July. This time round in August I would have had to pay 178.35 out of my pocket instead of nothing if it had not been finally been noticed. The billing procedure and training of front office staff needs to be reviewed to prevent this type of mistake again. Also when billing the customer both copies should be given to the patient, the statement of services rendered and also an explanation of the benefits. I was NOT given this in July, and if I had been this would have been caught in July and I would have had to pay out more than I owed. Thank in August this was caught. I had even mentioned in July about how high my portion was, but it was shrugged off. Note the staff also needs to be trained properly on the software submitting and resubmitting to Blue Cross. Items do not have to be mailed in via traditional mail services if it has to be resubmitted as per Blue Cross. If the corrections and fail safes are put in for the Front Desk billing staff I would rate this dentist office 10 out of 10. But because of this major billing error I can only give it a 6 currently.

Our family began at Lacombe Dental years ago when we lived in St. Albert. First It was because of convenience. Now we live out of Edmonton, and it takes me an hour to drive for an appointment, but there is no way I am changing dentists. I am always greeted warmly, the staff are all very professional, and I no longer need freezing to get a cleaning. The technicians are gentle and really care about your comfort.
