Dr Geller was great. Took time to explain the whole process. Debby was also great and she was very patient with my blinking eyes. Took 3 times to get the measurement but she was very patient.

I wasn't planning on having Lasik surgery anytime soon but thought about it. After a personal consult with Dr. Geller and the staff, I was impressed with time spent to explain the Lasik procedure and their thorough answers to my questions. To be honest, I was expecting a 'time-share-type' sales job at this appt but didn't get that at all. Every approach was professional and not pushy. By the time my consult was over, I made the decision (with my husband who accompanied me) to proceed with Lasik surgery. Which will be later this month.

Dr Joseph and his staff are outstanding, they took me through every step of the procedure and treated me with the utmost professionalism, the procedure was very successful, my range of vision increased dramatically and eye lid droop is gone, at every stage, they gave me the best treatment available, healing and suture removal were a breeze, because of them. Protocols in place to address covid were strictly adhered to, at no time did I feel at risk, social distancing, wearing of masks, cleaning of spaces were top notch. If you are thinking of eyelid surgery, tis is the guy to go to. He and his team will treat you right.

I recently visited a Inland eye Specialists for a follow up visit post eye surgery. The office staff all wore masks, social distancing observed and I waited less than 5 minutes to see the Dr. Customer service and professional demonstrated by everyone.

I have worked in health care for nearly 30 years. As an anesthesia provider, I know very intimately the anxieties, unknowns, and uncertainties that patients experience just before undergoing a surgical procedure. Healthcare professionals are probably the toughest critics when it comes to giving a review of their own personal experiences as patients. My personal experience with Inland Eye was nothing short of amazing. I believe I had such a good experience because every staff member that I encountered was professional, super friendly, and knowledgeable. From the person at the check in counter, to the technician performing the vision tests (awesome), the individual who did the pre-operative eye prep, and the physicians. You were all great. Dr. Geller is extremely smart and took time to explain every detail to me and made the conversation enjoyable, understandable, and educational. Not once did I feel rushed. My surgeon, Doc Johnson, is the man. You guys made everything great. Thank you. Keep doing what you’re doing.

I went in for a LASIK consultation and left scheduling LASIK that afternoon. Every staff member was extremely friendly and I felt I could connect well with the doctor. The thoroughness of their explanations put everything at ease. To top it off, the procedure took less than an hour! Even the post op appt was met with friendly faces. The staff are outstanding but I'm second guessing having LASIK done. It's not working out well for me at this point. I am having issues that I REALLY hope will disappear soon or I will have wasted a lot of money for a major step backwards in my lifestyle. I can't read comfortably. I can't see across the room clearly to look people in the eye. Low light vision is crap. Can't read street signs until I'm right next to them. Can't focus on computer screen unless I'm at an "optimum" distance whereas before the procedure, my eyes would automatically adjust for the distance and focus accordingly. Many things I love to do I can't do now unless and until my vision improves. This isn't the fault of the doctors. It just is what it is. Bottom line is that BE ABSOLUTELY SURE you want LASIK because you can't go back. It's not like trying out contact lenses. If my vision doesn't improve, my quality of life went to Hell.

Dr. Gellar truly is an amazing doctor. He works so well with my daughter who, unfortunately, has visual impairment. She is always so excited to go and get her new prescription every year. We've been with Inland Eye Specialists and Dr. Gellar for 3 years now and he continues to be the best doctor for our daughter. We went to another doctor 2 years before seeing Dr. Gellar and she said my daughter's eyes were fine. Come to find out she should have been in glasses from that point on. Great Service. Jennifer was amazing. She explained the possible difference options available and answered all my questions. Dr. Johnson explained everything he was doing during the procedure. I had to come back the day of the surgery, the staff got me right in and Dr. Johnson was there and immediately took care of the issue. Dr Johnson called me that evening to make sure I was doing ok. I drive from SD once or Twice a year because I trust him and love him and know he will do what’s best for me because he has been for almost two decades my only disappointment was the staff I’ve been seeing for over half my life was gone. I understand people get sick and need time off and retire. But I didn’t enjoy trying to convince new staff who I am and what I need that hasn’t changed in the last 15 years. I hope they try to schedule one experienced familiar face a day in the future. See you again next year! I’ll never change Doctors but feeling lost in a place I’ve been coming to 2/3rds of my life was unsettling.

I had fallen and broken a blood vessel in my left eye. I thought I had really done some damage to my eye so I called Inland Eye in hopes of being able to get in to see Dr. Geller right away and you were kind enough to fit me in that very day. I have been a patient of Dr. Geller's for 25 years and much to my relief he reassured me that I had done no damage to my eye and the redness (blood) in my eye would go away in three to four weeks. Unbelievable bedside manner. Professional yet personable. After a thorough exam and consult, I decided not to have elective surgery. It may be in my future; and if it is, this will be the outfit I will use. Hard to believe, but this is the most pleasant doctor's visit I have ever had....and being 60, I have had a few. Drs. Geller and Johnson certainly make you feel comfortable with this surgery. I mean, it does involve your eyes! I had Lasik almost 17 years ago, so I knew what I was in for with this PRK but still you get nervous. Yet, with this team of doctors and their staff, I was at ease! And when they tell you it will "go like this' and "go like that" as to pain level and vision...they are spot on! They've done this before! I would recommend using Inland Eys Specialists, but most importantly are the two doctors. You must like your doctors for all procedures to your vision and your health.

I made an appointment with IES and set up all my previous paperwork online prior to my visit. When I arrived days later, the information I had provided was not in their system. I entered the information again on the clipboard provided and sat down for my turn to be seen. After a short wait I was called back and saw the Dr. he preformed a contact fitting exam and I was told by one woman that they would need to check out my insurance prior to my getting my exam. I felt confident that I wouldn't have an issue. but this was not the case. Turns out this new insurance plan that I had no say in at work would not cover my contact lens or exam and that it only covered a small portion all together for eye glasses. I felt out of place and that I didn't belong... The two women that saw me that day went to great lengths to get my insurance information checked and double checked. I really appreciated the time and effort everyone put into my situation. in the end I was given a 2 week trial pair of contacts to get me started. I will be heading back to place orders for contacts. sometimes when you hit a hard time of it, there are people in the world that will help you through it. Thank you all -Nick T.-

1.Horrible phone communications. You get lost in an automated process and cannot reach a real person. 2. It took me 4 visits to get contacts and multiple copays. I could have gone to LensCrafters and got the whole process completed in an hour. 3. Had to talk to several different people while in the office to people in other office just to complete the process. 4. All office personnel are extremely friendly and curtious but they need to work on a better process.

Dr. Jonathan Geller has been taking care of my eyesite since 1993. I was referred to him by a former employer. Currently I live in San Diego and make a 45 minute 1 way trip to see him because I trust that he will tell me the truth, good or bad!

I cannot imagine a better professional and personable individual as Dr. Geller to care for my eyes. I have been a patient for many years for regular eye exams and recently LASIK through Inland Eye Center and Dr. Geller. There are many choices for vision care. I plan to continue with Dr. Geller for many years to come or as long as he chooses to practice, regardless of my insurance coverage. Thanks and I will plan to SEE you again for my next exam.
