The greeting was terrible. “You owe us $42 from your last visit 6 months ago”….????? I was surprised , since my visit was a 100% covered dental cleaning. She then again said “well, I know you owe us money because I see it on the screen”…… there were other tings that reflect that lady has no idea how to treat people!!!!! And it really sets the mood really low specially for someone that hates going to the dentist. On the other hand, my dental higenyst was very gentle and nice. I really don’t know if I can tolerate that lady in the front desk again…..😩

After looking for a dentist for a while, I chose Dr. Montano and I couldn’t be more pleased and thankful to have found her. I was nervous about my first cleaning, but the office staff and Maryanne made me feel comfortable, and did a thorough cleaning and x ray. It was a joy to be there and get excellent treatment. I also just had my wisdom tooth pulled by Dr. Montano and it was painless. I was so nervous, but she and her assistant made me feel comfortable and assured me everything was going to be okay. They were patient with me and helpful. I couldn’t have imagined a better experience. After the extraction, Dr. Montano and her staff gave me excellent care and spent the time to make sure I was good to go. My appt was at 10 and I was out of there by 10:30 or so and they did not rush at all. I’m on day 8 of healing and still feeling amazing. This office is the best! Thank you Dr. Montano.

I wish I had never had the procedure done. I will never fix another tooth that is not bothering me as long as I live. I had zero issues with the tooth and now I can not chew on that side and there is so much sensitivity when I have never had that one day in my life. The fixing the bite adjustment did nothing. I am at a loss for words at what could have happen to ruin a whole side of my mouth.

I spent 2 hours with Dr.. Montano, while she applied 2 crowns; earlier in the week, Dr. Glenn Mitchell had performed the necessary root canal work. Especially impressive was the attention-to-business attitude of both Dr. Montano and her associate, and Dr. Montano's attention to detail. It’s been about 5 or 6 years since the last time I was there. I had moved away to Georgia in that time and now I’m back. They haven’t missed a beat. It’s like I never left. I know I’m important to them and so are all their patients. I’ve had Dentists in the same category as Dr.s and medicine. ‘Take as needed only.’ Their office has me wanting to break that rule and come more often. This will be my only dentist from now on.

Finding a provider that you feel comfortable with in all aspects is a difficult task. We were so pleased to find Dr Montana when we did. Everything from her beautiful office with its open less sterile feel to the staff and the Dr herself has been perfect. They are all Professional but more importantly trustworthy and by far the most friendly staff I have ever experienced. The hygenist is wonderful and will walk you through your denal needs. Dr Montana is warm and listens to your needs or even your fears. And the Office Manager is organized and explains everything I’m full detail. But the best part is how they make you feel as though they are assisting a family member rather than just a patient. They get to know you and treat you as such and accommodate as such.

First of all, I appreciate that you were able to see me for my emergency on short notice and I thank you for that. Unfortunately, there were a couple of things that I did not appreciate. I found it highly inappropriate to discuss restorative treatment prior to taking care of the immediate problem. A treatment plan and financials should be presented at a future appointment when the patient is out of pain and can think more clearly. The local anesthetic injection was by far and away THE singular most painful injection I ever experienced in my entire lifetime (and I've had a lot of them)!!! Pain such as that is why so many people fear the dentist and why I will not be coming back. The extraction was painless, but I NEVER EVER want to experience that kind of pain again. I know there are other ways to achieve the same degree of anesthesia that are far, far less painful. Also, since it was mentioned that there was the presence of pus, maybe an antibiotic should have been prescribed.

The appointment was for noon on May 20th 2015 for my 91 year old grandmother who had recently misplaced her bottom denture and needed a replacement asap. Robin received us kindly and professionally upon arrival. Unfortunately, it was not until my grandmother was seated in the dental chair that it was brought to our attention that her Humana Family / DentaQuest Medicaid insurance was not going to be accepted because apparently that type of insurance is only accepted for children at your office. The most frustrating thing about this situation is that her Medicaid insurance information as well as her age and birthdate wase communicated, apparently verified?, and entered into your computer system when the appointment was initially made the week before. I do not remember who we initially made the appointment with. We feel that had there been more attention to detail when my grandmother's insurance information was taken by your office for the initial appointment, we would not have wasted your time or our time and effort dealing with taking off from work to transport a senior citizen who can barely walk to the appointment . Resultingly, it was a wasted day for 2 family members who assisted in getting grandmom to her appointment. Worthy of mention however was the compassionate and apologetic response to this frustrating situation by Robin as we left. Hopefully this information will help your office in avoiding these kinds of situations in the future.

The dentist should have done an exam on me, but she refused to do it, since I declined having x-rays. I did not want to have unnecessary radiation exposure. Just because my insurance will pay for it does not mean I need to do x-rays every year. I had x-rays 1 year ago and according to my research, the American Dental Association recommends x-rays every 2 years for people that aren't having any problems. Even after I signed a waiver releasing the company from liability, she still refused to do an exam on me. I don't understand the point of the release, since she still refused to do the exam. The person that cleaned my teeth was very gentle and friendly.

I was asked to pay a $10 copay for my visit. When I received my receipt, it said I had a $5 credit. When I questioned this, another girl came over and gave me a different receipt. After I left and got back to work, I check my card and it said that I have a $5 copay on it. So, not really sure why I had to Pay $10 and then got a different receipt.

I actually was very pleased, I have always been scared of going to a dentist because of the pain I might encounter, but the doctor assured me that I would not feel a thing. I left the office feeling overwhelmed.I was told of a list of porcedures that needed to be done, however I will be leaving for the summer to employment in NJ at end of next week , after my college finals.Your office preformed a service which was not covered by my insurance and therefore I was expected to pay at end of visit. I am a college student with limited funds and could not afford anything more then what my insurance covers.I contacted my mother who in turned called you and was able to resolve that financial part. You office also claimed that all my dental work needs to be done ASAP. I was very upset and I am not certain I will return to your office.Going to a dentist has always giving me anxiety, this visit really had made my anxiety worse then ever!

I'm very impressed with how the staff is very friendly & attentive towards the patient's dental situation and making them feel at ease while any procedures are being performed in the office. However, one big thing that is turning me off about HSM Dental is the constant pushing of products & services being offered by your practice. I appreciate the email & text reminders to schedule appointments for my dental needs, but I don't care to have my teeth whitened, and charging $140 for an electric toothbrush is a little ridiculous, especially when top of the line models at the store can be had for under $60, and a manual toothbrush is suiting me just fine now. But besides that, the hygienist did an excellent job with my teeth cleaning, and the quality of care performed by you and your office staff was excellent.
