The visit went well and the doctor was fantastic as she explained everything to me and my wife in a very professional and helpful way.my only complaint is that we didn’t get a good choice of glasses to pick from and for that we have decided to go somewhere else that will give us a better selection!

I have to tell you I am pretty impressed with the staff. I watched one of the staff being disrepected and degraded by a customer for more than 10 minutes and not once was she unprofessional. Mike helped me through the process of getting new glasses and I can get very overwhelmed with too many choices. He was so patient, professional and funny. Oh yeah I don't want to forget the Dr. SHE IS AWESOME TOO!!!! She answers all your questions and makes you feel very comfortable. COVID is still a thing and LOVED that instead of just saying everything is wiped down she actually cleaned everything right in front of me. As long as their office is there I will be there!!!!!

CROOKED PRACTICE the eye examination was fine. The doctor put eye drops in my eyes to dilate my pupils and told me to wait out front. Then the scam was on from picking the frames and lens. I ASSUMED MY FRAME selection was for my plan NOT. The person assisting me DID NOT quote the frame price or additional lens price over the progressive lens fee. I have never gone for eye examination and been robbed until this place for $1400.00 for reading glasses.

Hollis Vision center is centrally located in my community, their hours are convenient and they stand behind their product. I've gotten my glasses from them for over 20 years - I could probably find a cheaper product, but not sure I could find a better one.

My total experience can only be described as highly professional and courteous. I was greeted warmly by the receptionist, optometrist and eyeglass staff member. It was engaging as all questions were candidly answered. I have been a patient at Hollis Vision Center for many years; never during that time has any pressure been felt about eyeware selections. The optometrist made me feel at ease during our first encounter given her obvious well honed interpersonal skills.

You guys are awesome. Very professional, the drs take their time with every step and with my kids they were supportive understanding and didn’t force us to hurry up and get us to get the exams done. I’m a grown woman and the 3 things I’m like a big baby yes a BIG TANTRUM BABY I’m scared of eye drs, dentists, and needles I forgot the name but Hollis got me take a deep breath and wait for my go which I love, don’t get me wrong no matter how comfortable i am every year I’m going to be scared but I know my family and I will be in good safe hands. During this pandemic, you can’t know for sure what to expect. We had 3 appointments scheduled and everything went smoothly. Upon arrival, we had our temperatures checked and were greeted warmly. I’d been there before so I knew where the covered glasses were. I had my girls pick out their frames as I completed our paperwork. With three appointments, we were in and out within an hour.

The doctor was very kind and professional. Took his time when examining my eyes. However, I asked, upon arrival to use the bathroom and one of the staff members said it was out of service. Another one said that it is usable. I’m wondering, which one was it: out of service or usable. Needless to say, it was usable. I understand if I were just someone from the street that needed to use the bathroom, but not a patron of the business. The staff should be reprimanded for that!

I am a very happy customer of the Hollis Vision Center for over many years. The quality of service is outstanding. Everyone is courteous, understanding and extremely supportive concerning an individuals exam, eye wear purchases and reminders of required insurance forms. Every single staff member works extremely hard to provide a welcoming attitude, reassuring that they are there to help with the individual's personal issues. As a teacher of 35years with New York City Department of Education who has glaucoma running in the family I must view eye examinations as a necessity. Thank God for the excellent care and service provided by the Hollis Vision Center!!!

Dr. Starr was a highly personable professional and welcoming during my first visit with him. He was eager to explain the condition of my eyesight and open to answering my inquiries. I felt assured of his authentic passion for his profession and eagerness to aid patients. The most satisfying experience I've ever had while utilizing Hollis Vision. Other optometrists were demonstrably indifferent. Stacey, the office manager, was extremely patient and responsive. She and I had a delightful exchange on unrelated matters and clearly her interpersonal skills are evident. Stacey appeared open to accommodate all patients. I was impressed by her assistance with another patient who was encountering some difficulty with his insurance to resolve the issue. Courtesy prevailed. I would recommend that the receptionist follow union voucher instructions and have patients sign the voucher after the eye examination as written. It was necessary to show her the writing.

I had trouble opening the door while pushing my son in his stroller the lady at the front desk came right over the help and greeted us immediately. Love Love Love Hollis Vision! I have been going here for years and the customer service remains the same. I have gone to other places that I thought would be more convenient since they were closer to my home or job, but the experience was not comparable to Hollis Vision. The staff makes you feel comfortable and they are so patient with you. It's hard to get an appointment, but that's only a true testiment of the great work they do and it's definitely worth the wait. I have being going to Hollis Vision since a child. I also can say that every time I go for an appointment I leave feeling great. The staff are very professional and make sure you have all your questions answered before leaving. The office is always clean. There are an wide assortment of glasses to choose from and the prices are pretty reasonable: I would recommend that everyone goes to this location you would have the same thing to say!

My Mother and I needed to see an eye doctor asap and we needed new glasses. We are divas on a budget and the nice ladies in the front helped us pick glasses that fit our look and budget and I was so happy. The doctor for that day; was the most honest, helpful, and knowledgeable eye doctor that I have ever had and I look forward to my treatment plan. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I have been an optical patient with Hollis Vision for many years. The quality of service only shines brighter and this was evinced during my most recent visit on May 11, 2016. A welcoming staff and the optometrist ensured that I was be satisfied. I found Dr. Stefanovic a keen listener and sensitive professional. I appreciated her authentic patience when I encountered some difficulty with the glaucoma test. In being fitted for new frames there was no apparent pressure and I was able to make decisions best suited to my tastes. However, the staff person with whom I have dealt knew my tastes. A request to expedite delivery of my glasses was received and acted upon with dispatch. The entire staff has earned a well earned commendation.

I am so happy with Hollis vision. The Optician Anne Marie Post Regan was such a pleaure. She took her time to hear my complaints and symptoms and she explained everything to me and I left there feeling completely satisfied with the outcome and ease of my appointment and total understanding to my condition and why my eyes felt the way they did. Wait time was fairly minimal. The rest of staff is very friendly, accommodating and professional. Definitely sticking with Hollis Vision

Upon my arrival, I was not greeted. The lady at the front desk was very unprofessional. I dont know her name, she is blonde maybe in her late 40's. She did not give eye contact or say hello. I said "good morning" and her reply was "name"? - one word. As I waited to be examined I witnessed the same lady reprimand a young female employee for arriving late. I found it unnecessary for her to do that in front of clients. Unfortunately I will not return or refer you to clients based off that employee. My first impression was a lasting negative one. A customers experience should be positive especially clients that are making their first visit there. I went based off my wife's referral but she said the young girl that took care of her was extremely kind. Sadly, that employee was not there when I arrived. Maybe my review would be much better.

The optometrist and optician were pleasant and I felt great leaving. I think they could use an extra pair of hands for glasses shopping so patrons can spend time looking at glasses. But overall, a great experience.

I have been a client at Franhill Optics for several years. In the past the staff had been wonderful, they treated me and my daughters like family. The eye exam was thorough and I did not leave until I was helped to find the perfect pair of glasses. My visit yesterday was not like what I am accustomed to. The eye exam was not thorough. I am going to find another place to have an eye exam if my insurance will allow me. It took less than five minutes. The eye doctor said she could not check the pressure in my eyes, and did not attempt to check the pressure in my daughters eyes. The selection of glasses was terrible. The staff, although friendly, were not committed to helping me find suitable glasses. I left without obtaining a pair of glasses. It was the worse experience I had ever had at Franhill Optics. I will probably not return again.

I've been a customer at Hollis Vision for years! They are all wonderful! I used to live down the block and moved 5 years ago to Franklin Square and still drive all the way to Hollis to get my glasses/contacts from them! Very satisfied customer!

It was my first time trying in contacts and I couldn't manage to take it off. The staff was incredibly patient with me and they all tried to show me different methods of handling my contacts. I definitely learned how to put them on and take them off before I left their office.
