The genuineness that I’ve encountered here always makes me want to come back. I honestly feel like I am visiting a family that is updating me about me health and providing options to make sure that my teeth/gum/jaws are in good shape. They are informative, patient, kind and reasonable. I love that I able to engage with the team but they are willingly engaging back. If you are afraid to take a chance, they offer a Groupon just in case you don’t have insurance but they are overall affordable with or without insurance. They even offer payment plans. I really appreciate everyone that I encountered yesterday. I hope everyone will have a blessed Christmas and New Years….

There are many new faces at Harris Parkway Dental, but everyone is friendly. My hygienist Halie was very good, and I felt at ease with her. It was also good to see Dr. McConnell and Dr. Peterson. Hopefully, Belinda can locate our full mouth x-ray records that were obtained from our prior dentist by Tamey.

I’ve been a patient with Dr. Wickes/ Dr. McConnell for about 50 years! I was upset after last cleaning appointment. I do not want the new dentist, and did not care for him. I wasn’t sure why he was looking at my old X-rays saying I had a problem when Brad had never mentioned it. I have not had any issues with the tooth, and I don’t really have money to spend if this is not necessary. I want Dr. M as my dentist. If not, I will switch to someone else. I want X-rays as I’ve had in the past, as I don’t have dental insurance to cover extra expense. I told Stephen I was upset as well. I did not have X-rays as normal this appointment because l was told no time.

I love Dr McConnell, but I was very disappointed that I drove all the way from Austin and no one thought to let me know that Karen had retired and would not be the one cleaning my teeth. I will say the process of cleaning with water was OK but some kind of protection from the over spray would have been helpful. Additionally, the person cleaning my teeth was less than careful and precise with the polishing and avoiding sensitive areas. I do not know if I will return due to the distance.

I have visited this dentist several times. This time however I received such a rough teeth cleaning that I have damaged gums. I called the office afterwards to discuss and left a message that was not returned. Stacy was the name of the person who cleaned my teeth. I have never had my teeth cleaned by her but my inner bottom gum line was scratched away to such a degree that it is painful and white along the edges. I will be seeking a second opinion to assess the damage done as the dentist reviewed afterwards and made no address to the issue.

The attention and care are second to none, and I have found my new dental care office. It's hard being from another state and not knowing where to go. I absolutely love Dr. Brad McConnell and his hygienist, Courtney! They are both amazing humans. Dr. McConnell is always friendly, smiling, pleasant, and has a good sense of humor. He is the best dentist I have ever been to. I will not switch! Dr. McConnell is well-respected in his field. He does a remarkable job of creating a pleasant, positive experience for each of his patients. I had Courtney today for my cleaning. She did a terrific job of cleaning my teeth and not causing any pain. This is the first time in my life I have not had pain at the dentist! What?! Yes! I have been on the planet for a while, so... big compliment. Courtney is wonderful! It was a pleasure to have her clean my teeth. She is friendly, gentle, and talks to you throughout the process so that there are no surprises. I am usually bucking like a bronco and wincing like crazy. Not this time. I have ADHD and am autistic, so going to the dentist is extremely difficult. I was able to call and schedule with friendly staff who made me feel calm when making the initial appointment and minimized overwhelm in the process. I did not think I would be able to do the initial visit, but when I arrived, the office was quiet, not too bright, and felt familiar. The staff greeted me quietly and the office was quiet and relaxed. I was worried about being overstimulated by loud drilling sounds and the medical/dental smell, but that was not an issue here! I also did not have to wait in the waiting room for very long, and my hygienist brought me to the chair that was tucked jut off the hallway but not enclosed. It was comfortable and not claustrophobic. My hygienist worked quietly, quickly, and spoke softly. She was so kind and gentle, and she really put me at ease. They do not have sunglasses for the light, so if you are light sensitive, I recommend bringing your own, but I didn’t have mine and the light was not the fluorescent overbearing kind, so I was able to succeed without sunglasses! I have since been back for my second 6 month cleaning, and my second experience was just as successful and safe as the first. The staff is so kind, relaxed, and genuine. They listened to what my orthodontic and dental goals were and then gave me specific steps to take in sequential order, and it made the process feel much less overwhelming. I truly would not be able to follow through with everything I need to do if the Harris Parkway staff didn’t make it so accessible for me. Within the next year, I hope to complete the extensive process of oral surgery, Invisalign, and recoloring crowns from a former endodontist to look less gray and match the rest of my teeth. I highly recommend this practice if you struggle with going to the dentist, are neurodivergent, or are seeking a general dental practice that is stress-reducing, familial, and consistently helpful!

Questions raised and issues were addressed appropriately and I should be there in the next 4 months, God's willing of course. Always a good experience due to the people. From "the doc," to the hygenists, front desk, etc. They're great about sending emails, reminding me of upcoming appointments, following up on how I'm doing and so on. I drive over a half hour to go to their office when there are several closer to home. It's worth it. However, I did get in trouble for not flossing enough. I highly reccommend them!

When I came in for a cleaning on May 26, I was not told they had a new program that superseded the previous one for "in house" dental care. The new one required me to pay $99. + tax at checkout, plus a discounted cost of dental work. Long story short, the girl waiting on me was unable to get me a receipt for the $99+ tax for me to submit to my FSA company for reimbursement. She promised to send it to me, either by email or "snail mail." No receipt came so I called back and spoke to Jessica. She indicated she would have to have someone from "IT" call me back. No call. So, June 3rd, I called and asked for Dr. McConnell to personally call me back. No call all day. My wife called today (June 4) and asked for a refund of the $99+tax. Guess what -- no call back. We're waiting for Monday to see what happens by noon. Monday 4:30 -- no call back! Guess we're just going to have to eat the $99+tax, but I can't wait until my wife has her next cleaning.

I felt like the front desk team was a bit apathetic. They would answer the questions but overall the sense of genuine helpfulness felt disconnected. This has happened both times I’ve gone. And I was pressured to leave a 5star review before I left and the front desk person took my phone to do so... NOT EVER OK. And I had to kinda push to get my whitening kit (that wasn’t really a kit) that came with my deal (they didn’t want to give it to me because they said since I had been the real 6months prior. But I never received it and I was there on a new deal, which no matter what, should be honored fully.

I loved this office. It was very clean and friendly. The dentist and RDA new exactly what they were doing and were up on all the latest techniques and products. The prices were too high, according to the national and state averages. I would love to go back and let them be my dental care provider but with the price range I cannot. I was not given the amount of the filling that I had before I received the treatment. Usually, the front office will come back before treatment is rendered and go over the cost. This was not done.

It was so nice to see Dr. McConnell again. He is such an expert at dealing with teeth and refitting my partial denture! The staff in his office are also skilled, kind, and supportive. Excellent dental care from a professional highly skilled and caring staff. Each staff member, from the receptionist to the hygienist to the dentist, Dr. McConnell, is committed to the best patient experience while communicating detailed information regarding dental hygiene, procedures and pricing. I have been to other dental offices that used fear tactics to patients into thousands of dollars of unnecessary dental work and ones whose staff member caused harm during the procedure. Dr McConnell personally overseas each procedure and assures the best outcome.

Diane was extremely helpful in--on the spur of the moment Tuesday morning--replacing a temporary cap that had come loose. (While I am awaiting the crown to arrive and be permanently attached on February 21 by my current dentist in Waco, work responsibilities in Fort Worth have required that I spend the entire week away from Waco. Therefore, when the cap came off Monday evening--I decided to stop by Dr. McConnell's office, just in case someone there might be in a position to re-attach the temporary. suggest you review your procedure for rescheduling patients when power outages or other uncontrollable things happen. While you can't control mother nature, you express a strong desire to service your clients and go to great lengths to do so with all that you do. However, you should agree to creating a day for makeup appointments. My suggestion would be the following 2 Saturday mornings, working 7-noon. While no one likes to do that,including patients, you can at least be on record for trying to accommodate your patients quickly.

It was my first visit and the Dr. McConnell and his staff made me feel very comfortable. He's a pretty good listener and has a great sense of humor too! Even though my problem was relatively simple, he took the time to assess my problem and offer a solution. I would refer others to his office.

Sal was my technician. I have always enjoyed his professionalism and limited talk: that is, he welcomes me to the room and engages in 3-4 minutes of conversation, then goes to work. He does not ask me questions while my mouth is full of gunk and equipment. He does not talk while he works )a Blessing!) except an occasional "Looking good." I have recently read that Fluoride treatments should be avoided, and asked. He gave a good risk assessment and I proceeded. The newer (digital, electronic?) x-ray procedure is better than the old films. Sal is thorough and his inspections of the condition of teeth and gums is always confirmed (good or bad) by Brad. It is for these long-term reasons - not only good care, but increasing improved care - that my wife and I keep coming back, even though our insurance does not cover the cost.
