Hygenist Nancy was very professional friendly and concerned about my overall care. She paused we I felt the need, asked if I Wass doing ok. She was efficient without being stoic and inattentive. It's always a pleasure to see Dr Halper, he tells me what he sees that needs attention and makes recommendations when needed and is up front about the expected cost. I trust him to make the best oral care decisions on my behalf.

Moved to Westchester County last year and ask a neighbor who was a good dentist. Halper was his reply. Set up the appointment and sure enough one the best dentist I have ever been to. He liked all the work done on my teeth and we enjoyed a chat about letting other dentists get credit for the work they have done for you. Drs Ira and Sara are always very thorough and explain everything. They never recommend doing anything drastic first, but trying smaller (read: less expensive, less traumatic) procedures first before resorting to bigger things. I'm a big fan of that theory! At my regular check up, I was seen on time. Stacey, the hygienist, is very competent, gentle, and quite frankly, gives thorough quick and relatively pain free cleanings. Dr. Halper is a great dentist and truly a good guy. He’s been taking care of my mouth for years. He is also very talented, gentle, and knowledgeable. He has never tried to make me have unnecessary work done. He’s fixed my badly chipped front tooth with bonding material and a few re-bondings over these many years, keeping me from having to replace my front tooth for the last 40+ years. 5 stars I was so pleased that my son and daughter -in-law recommended Halpern Dentistry when I had a dental emergency. The office is closed on Thursday but Dr.Ira Halper leaves his cell number for emergency calls. I was not a patient but he was so kind and understanding and he set up an appointment for the next day. Dr.Sara Halpern saw me . She examined me and explained my problems clearly. I had a series of X-rays and she gave me an appointment for Monday. I feel confident that I am in good hands.

the night before I had begun feeling intense pain in my tooth. I began calling dentists in the area and they were the first of 3 to get back to me. As a matter of fact the other two never contacted me. The next day I had an emergency appointment set up for 1pm and showed up early because I could not take the pain any more. They squeezed me in early with no issues at all and immediately relieved the pain. I am very grateful for the work they did and think i have found myself a new dentist.

I’ve been a client of the practice since 2000. And my entire immediate family has as well. But it’s more like visiting family, and my own family agrees. There’s an overall care and concern that’s evident and sincere. Dr. Sara repaired my cracked / chipped front tooth to perfection. And matched the adjacent front tooth to the newly repaired one. It is very clear she enjoys her work and she truly cares about and provides high quality results. This is a family business and there always seems to be coverage. The other team members are very kind and courteous. I highly recommend this dental practice. Very easy and convenient to get to, with loads of parking in a spread out lot.

I was pleasantly surprised when I called this week with gum pain to find that in spite of the office being completely booked and in spite of the COVID situation, I was told to come right in and the Dr. would squeeze me in. It was very helpful as it was Friday and I didn't have to go for the entire weekend worrying. I'm very appreciative. As for the staff including Dr. Halper, they are friendly and welcoming. Dr. Halper took time with me to x-ray me and give me a complete explanation for a diagnosis and for what needed to be done.

Dr Sara and Dr. Ira were the only ones who were willing to see me with an emergency on the Friday before a long holiday weekend. And Dr. Sara didn't rush or seem put out, she was very kind and explained everything to me about what she was doing and what further work would need to be done. Dr. Ira Halper has been my dentist for 25 years (despite his youthful appearance). He is ever the professional and always available for emergencies and consultations. Will definitely use again! My first visit with Ira Halper was an emergency appointment to deal with a tooth ache I had. After xrays Dr. Halper had encouraged us to hold off on a root canal as the pain may be a result of my sinuses. Sure enough he was right! and saved me a lot of money and pain. It's really nice to have an honest dentist that doesn't just want to make another dollar. I'm going back tomorrow for a cleaning.

Let's be honest, nobody loves going to the dentist, but the people at this practice are some of the nicest people I know, not to mention excellent at what they do - all of them. I have been coming here for over 30 years and have long since moved out of Tarrytown. I continue to drive 40 minutes so that I can remain at this dental practice. They are kind, gentle and accommodating.

Dr. Halper fit me in the day after I contacted him; was personable, thorough; and clear in communicating his findings and conclusion. He also explained several aspects of my dental health that the original dentist had failed to mention. I only wish I could switch to this practice, and that I'd been seeing him for the last decade!

I called Dr. Ira Halper's office at 7 am on 11/2/18 with a Dental Emergency. At the time, I wasn't a regular patient yet. He called me back within minutes to come into the office at 8 am. The staff was welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. He took some x-rays of the problem teeth, then we went over a plan of action to follow, and what I should expect going forward. So happy I found him! I now have a regular dentist I trust. I would highly recommend him!
