It was my first time visiting Griffin, and everything and everyone was awesome! Love seeing friendly staff that clearly enjoy working with their patients as well as with each other. Their office is beautiful with lots of space and light, and tons of glasses to choose from! There are not enough words to describe how terrific everyone in the office is. They are courteous and efficient. The associate that assisted me was knowledgeable about the products and very helpful with my frame selection. The assistant that did my tests was very personable (which, in my book, is essential). And Dr. Randy, as usual, was professional and thorough. He is a delight to have as a doctor. I could not be more pleased with my visit yesterday! Dr Lucy and the staff that helped me order glasses are so friendly and helpful and take as much time as you need. The only negative thing I would say is that the prices for glasses are quite a bit higher than other optometrists but I’ve been going there for decades and wouldn’t change anything else.

Everyone in the office is extremely warm and friendly. Last minute I had to bring my kids with me and everyone was so nice about it, each of my kids got a little toy on our way out too. Nothing but a great experience every time! The receptionists, doctors, and people who help pick out frames, I feel like I am in great hands at Griffin Optometric! The facility is clean and has updated technology to give the best care. Prices are reasonable. I don’t feel rushed with the doctor and he is patient and helpful during my exams. I had an issue with my insurance and the receptionist was knowledgeable and helpful and went above and beyond to settle the matter. I have worn glasses since elementary school and have dealt with places price gauging, bad service, or being not informative enough, so I am happy I found this place!

In addition to my yearly exams, I also had to be seen earlier this year for an eye injury that occurred. Dr. Randy Griffin did not have any available appointments, so his staff got me an appointment with another Doctor in his practice. I was seen very quickly and given a thorough examination without delay. I would highly recommend Dr. Randy Griffin and his staff to anyone who wants the best possible eye care, as they are simply the best. I have had other eye care providers in the past, and there is no comparison, as I have received nothing but superior eye care as well as outstanding customer service during all of my contacts with Dr. Griffin’s office, which cannot be said for my previous eye care providers.

As a new patient I was able to get an appointment quickly. The reception staff were welcoming and efficient. The doctor was very thorough and explained everything. He recommended an over-the-counter product that has helped with eye irritation and saved me money. I have been going to Griffin Optometric's for 8 years now and I love them. I have Dr. Lucy and I have seen her at both the San Clemente locations. She is so cheery and welcoming. My favorite Optometrist assistant is Jim at the Talega office ... he is purely awesome! I have popped into all 3 locations over the years to pick up contacts and everyone has been lovely. In January 2020, I was able to make my vision 2020 with Lasik. I went through NVision who works with Griffin Optometric's. I had a great experience and my follow up visits with Dr. Lucy have been great. I highly recommend Dr. Lucy and Griffin Optometric's in general.

I'm a new patient to this practice. Needed to have my eyes checked as it had been two years since my last exam when I was told the pressure in my left eye was a little high. Dr. Callister and his staff gave me a series of tests which showed the pressure was indeed increasing. He discussed all my options and we decided it was a good time to start some eye drops to lower the pressure. Very pleased with my care as he the staff were friendly but also very professional. I highly recommend them.

I have Kaiser insurance but I always find getting an optometry appointment in a timely manner a bit of a hassle, so I continue to come back to Griffin Optometric. The office staff and Dr. Randy are amazing. Very kind, very personable. I always leave feeling great, which is exactly what you want in a doctor. I am a healthcare provider myself, and I pay very close attention to the cleanliness of offices and the hygiene practices of the staff; they are doing everything right. I came into your office because I either had something in my eye or a scratch on the cornea, which was very painful. I felt so blessed to have someone who examined it right away and was able to relieve the pain and solve the solution. It probably was a piece of mascara under the eyelid from the night before that was causing the problem. I saw a doctor I had not seen before and he was so kind. Thank you.

The Doctors at that this location have always been amazing! My last visit was a shock in the service I received from the front office. I was the only patient in the waiting room as I watched the office staff small talk and my appointment starting 30 minutes late. The actual eye exam was great and doctor Lucy really took her time and listened to my needs. After my appointment, even after Dr Lucy asked the front office staff directly to help me. Once again avoided me as if I didn’t exist. I love supporting local but this will be my last visit.

I have been going to Griffin Optometric for over 15 years now. There are many reasons I continue to use them: The business side of it: 1. The caring and friendly environment. 2. The professionalism of the entire staff. 3. They treat each of their patients with kindness and respect. 4. I never have to wait in the lobby to see the doctor yet he takes all the time I need during my appointment. 5. I have had glasses made from many companies and none have been as well made. Before going to Griffin Optometric, I didn't realize that my glasses were not providing me with clear, crisp vision.
