My actual exam was smooth and perfect. However after leaving the office I questioned whether or not new contacts had been ordered. There wasn’t any conversation or payment taken for a reorder. I called to inquire and was sent to a voicemail. I left a message but almost a week later haven’t been called back yet. I will call again as I am likely to run out of contacts soon.

Excellent organization & products / services. Prices are high, and your add-on items and services are many. I get toothpaste and a brush from my dentist every visit for free. Eye drops? The last bottle I purchased was $.94 (and yes, they are more costly today.) Your people are excellent and they were patient with me and my insurance carrier. Thank you!

I like the service I received for the most part. The optiscan thing feels gimmicky. It should be a choice, especially if insurance doesn't cover any of its cost. Speaking of cost, the glasses, lenses and lenses options are very expensive. I will be looking for a new eye dr.

They are very much interested in me and my physical condition. Time is spent recording the response to their questions. The doctor also explains my condition in layman terms. He also follows up with concerns I have with immediate examination. We do comparative study with last year or two if you desire. I telephoned on a Sunday for an emergency visit for eyecare due to a scratch on my cornea. Dr. Jacob Leet met me at the office within 30 minutes. He gave me immediate eye relief with a numbing agent and prescribed eyedrops and an antibiotic. I'd worried myself that perhaps my eye condition was worse than a scratched cornea and had not wanted to wait until the office was open on Monday morning. I felt that I was interrupting his weekend by asking him to see me on Sunday, but he told me I'd done the right thing to call and get immediate attention. It was such a relief to have the pain in my eye gone and to already be starting the healing process. Thank you.

The eye exam is thorough, however they always seem to have extra charges added on that insurance/Medicare doesn’t cover. The cataract screening was always a part of the routine exam, but this time I was charged an extra $40 for it. Maybe, because I had questions about cataracts. That and the extra $39 out of pocket charged for another part of the exam is too much.

I came in to see Dr. Leet because I was having problems with my eyes itching, burning and being matted shut every morning. He diagnosed an infection and put me on drops and a spray. I was better in just a few days!

I was very pleased with the service at Leet Eyecare. I had not been for an exam in 3 years and was very surprised when Dr. Leet said the glasses I had were fine and I did not need new ones unless I just wanted to update the frames. I have never been to the eye doctor before when they did not want to sell me new glasses. Very refreshing.

I feel very confident that Dr. Leet can help me find a solution to my dry eye problem. He seems to be on top of my problems and offered several things to try. I had never heard of collegian plugs but was happy that I could try them on a temporary basis. I feel like he will fix the problem.

I have no problem with Dr. Leet or his expertise. And I absolutely have no problem with a co-pay. My problem is the lack of an explanation as to what the co-pay was for. I asked in the office and later on the phone, and was still not given a logical reason for a charge that should have been considered part of the original exam rather that what sounded like a made up charge. Then I was given a run-around about how the charge would have been different if I were there for glasses rather than contacts, which had nothing to do with the reason for the charge. I'm thinking refraction and contact lens evaluation is part of the exam and if Medicare doesn't cover that total amount, then I am happy to pay whatever is left. FYI: I wasn't screened for tobacco use as listed on the statement, even though that was not a charge.

I have gone to the Leet Eyecare Cape Girardeau location since 2017. I recently moved to Jackson, so decided to take advantage of this closer location. Just like the Cape Girarardeau location, the building is small and cozy. I felt welcome, comfortable, and that I had received great care. The doctor, Jake, was kind & professional.
