Dr. Thompson and her staff are awesome. Dr. Thompson got me in quickly because of an incident with my right eye. She is so skilled and her attention to detail and the time she spends going over everything with you is amazing and not commonplace these days. Her assistant that saw me first was very professional and also skilled and helped me feel less alarmed.

I realized that I was overdue for my yearly eye exam and when I called ,the receptionist was so friendly and offered me an immediate appointment within 45 minutes if I could make it. I took the appointment and the whole staff was so helpful and friendly. I got right in to see the Doctor and I was impressed how thorough and informative she was .

I appreciate working with Dr. Allison Thompson and her team. Dr. Thompson is knowledgeable, easy to talk with, patient and spends the time necessary to give me a quality exam and answer my questions. The front desk is friendly to work with. Wait times are reasonable. I also appreciate that this location has a glasses/frame department, so that I can update my glasses and bring them in for repairs by a qualified technician, if necessary. Dr. Thompson also refers me to well-qualified other eye specialists when necessary. I have had an all-around good experience with Dr. Thompson and her team.

This was my first ever eye exam, in my whole life! I felt comfortable and I learned a lot. It was helpful that Dr. Thompson talked me through my options, even for my moderate astigmatism. Now I have what I need to decide if I want to get glasses.

The ease of making the appointment and working with all staff was great. Check-in was quick, the exam was fast, but detailed. And, finalizing new glasses and lenses was quick and easy, and not expensive like some other vision clinics. Feels like you are there much longer than you really are. Was in and out in about 40 minutes. Really like this location and Dr. Thompson!

Really positive experience with Dr. Thompson. Best eye exam and consultation I've had in my 45 years of wearing glasses! She identified some eye issues that prior exams didn't reveal (yet were present at that time) and gave me lots of great advice. Spent lots of time, educated me, and was really delightful the entire time. I have not yet purchased my glasses but solely based on the thorough eye exam and consult, I can give them 5 stars!

Very aggresive manner the front desk admin greats you for the virus. Way over the top. The tops at hand in the office are all focused on doom and gloom... especially dramatic is the virus. Made the waiting room uncomfortable and interacting with the front desk dehumanizing.

I give mixed reviews not because of the doctor who was thorough, but because of Sandy who fitted my frames. changed the price 3 times because she was using the wrong price sheet and had to go to the back office more than once to get guidance. Could not explain the difference between the 3 price tiers of transition lenses. then when taking measurement of my eyes she had the device upside down. I would think I could get better served from a optical student. next time I will take my prescription elsewhere.

Doctor Thompson is very thorough and patient and answers all my questions. She explains what might be causing problems with my vision. My first pair of glasses didn't fix my distance vision or completely remedy my double vision, so they scheduled a second appointment at no cost to me. I am now waiting for my glasses with the new prescription. Doctor Thompson and Sandi and all the staff are kind, patient, and courteous.

Our family has been going to Great Vision for many years and have always had great experiences from the front office staff, to the provider to the staff in helping to select glasses. This appointment was scheduled for 4pm and my daughter decided right before closing time that she'd like to get a pair of glasses (initially we were just going to order her year supply of contacts). I mentioned to the staff (I believe her name is Sandi) that we could come back another day to try on glasses so she wouldn't have to stay late, she politely said no, she didn't mind staying late. That's a true testament of great service when they'll work with your schedule to make things happen. THose little extra steps mean a lot and do not go unnoticed.

I was greeted as I entered the building. Safety precautions were taken before I was asked to fill out the required forms in that my temperature was taken. Everyone is so friendly and helpful! I have been going to this office for many years (through several doctors) and I have always had great experiences. This last time I did feel a little pressure to spend extra money on my prescription when I was in the exam room. My glasses came out way more than I have spent on any other glasses I have gotten through in the years I have been a patient. I just felt a little disappointed with that because it made me feel like I trust them less. I still plan to go there due to such a friendly staff and clean office, but felt the need to express my feelings.

The facility is state of the art with an entire area dedicated to providing the customer with a wide range of glasses. I drive from Aurora to Parker for my eye exams because of the excellent service I receive at Great Vision.

There just seems to be a lack of organization/attention to detail on the front end (days/weeks leading up to the appointment) and the billing process after the appointment. Specifically, I received at least 3 text messages and an e-mail wanting to confirm my appointment day and time. That is not necessary. After paying for our visit, and our glasses and lenses, we went to the front desk and purchased two MacuHealth bottles. We received our receipt for these two bottles that they were paid for. Now, a week later, we get a BILL from the main CEC company for two bottles of MacuHealth. So, this is double billing. So, my wife calls the CEC number on the bill to state that we have already paid for the two bottles ($190) when we purchased them at the Parker, CO office. The customer service rep at CEC didn't want to listen what my wife said regarding the additional bill we received for those two bottles of MacuHealth and that we had paid for them already. She just wanted to keep talking about our office visit and the charges for Medicare which happen to be the same total cost as the MacuHealth ($190). My wife tried THREE time to get the customer service rep to understand that the bill we were talking about from them was for $190...and we had paid that $190 when we were at the Parker office as we have a paid receipt for it. Each time my wife tried to get the customer service rep to find the bill they sent us, the rep would have a breathy sigh... We will drive to Parker, CO and deal with that office regarding resolution of the issue.

Our exams were satisfactory, but we have just had a very unsatisfactory telephone conversation with your billing, Colorado Eye Center, because we received a bill for Macuhealth that we had paid for when we were in your office and the charge has already posted to our credit card account, so we can prove that we paid for that. I kept trying to explain that to the very unqualified customer service representative I was speaking to, and she kept just wanting to talk about the exam charges and not the charge for the Macuhealth supplements. She was quite rude and I finally gave up!! I will send back a copy of the bill to them along with our credit card receipt, but the charge should never have been put through from your office to that billing group, because it was already paid for on the day we got the pills. However, I would suggest you deal with a different billing concern as their customer service based on my experience is VERY poor!

But fortunately the previous Doc has been replaced by Dr. Shepherd who appears to be professional, competent, experienced, and relate-able.

I had been going to America's Best Contacts and Eyeglasses for a few years but switched to Great Vision because they are in network for my insurance plan. I'm very glad I switched. I have confidence that Dr Potts' team is probably the most competent team in Parker as I was greeted promptly and filled out paperwork disclosing my concerns with my eyesight. All of my concerns were addressed and solved. I couldn't really ask for more.

Our experience was excellent. All of the staff were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We arrived a little before our appointment time and only waited for a couple of minutes as the appointment started on time. The office was clean, up to date, organized and comfortable. Dr. Spinozzi took his time in evaluating my son and was very friendly and easy to talk with. My son who is 16 years old also liked the care he received as well as how Dr. Spinozzi communicated with him directly and made him feel like a partner in his care rather than a child. Great service. Top quality technology is used at this office including the optomap (?) imaging. Great service. I did have to wait but I was advised of that within a few minutes and given options and checked on to ensure I was comfortable and if I needed anything; it was due to the doctor helping with an emergency which put him behind schedule a little bit. I would expect if i was the one with the emergency that I would get the same treatment, so no issue for me with that!

I'm disappointed that my insurance benefits were not explained to me. I asked if you accept United Healthcare, which you do, but was not aware there was a separate entity--Spectra--that covered vision. I paid more than I had to for the exam and had to go elsewhere for glasses.

I asked about benefits coverage and the staff told me that sunglass coverage was not part of my plan unless I had LASIK surgery. I called VSP later and the explained my employer has paid for the suncare benefit which provides $150 towards sunglasses and that this is not common for employers to do. I called back and spoke to Jessica at the front desk and explained that VSP said I was covered and she proceeded to argue with me and got annoyed. She told me to wait on hold vs. asking and after 5 minutes or so I was transferred to a voicemail box and I left a message. No one has called me back yet. I was happy with Dr. Spinozzi and I's interaction but the staff was rude. I also feel like they made assumptions about my benefits without checking. Not sure if I will continue to do business here.

Everything was good, and I trust Dr. Spinozzi without question. I was just surprised that my visit (which included a year of contacts) was so costly even after my VSP. I wish I would've been able to use my Care Credit, but I was told my charges were about $3 less than the $299 needed to qualify to charge it on my Care Credit.

I was told I would receive a call that afternoon with more information regarding my contacts and "medical necessity" options. No call was recieved. I called the following day and was rudely told it would take several business days. It's been almost a week now and still no call. My wife was in several months ago and was told about the medical necessity program and it was processed and completed before she left. We have the same Rx and same insurance so I don't understand the delay.

The "additional" services offered were well explained, but I didn't feel as if a recommendation was being made to me based on my individual need. Rather, services such as the retina image were presented as a general good idea. When a patient inquires about contacts, make sure to explain to them that they will be charged $150.00. I did all of my own work, putting them in, taking them out and they didn't even work and was greeted with a ridiculous charge at checkout. Had I been told I would be charged, I would have never tried on the contacts. I will be going through my credit card company to recoup my charge.
