I am really sad to say after almost 25 years with you I have officially walked away and will not be returning. I felt like I was talking to a used car salesman’s when it came time to get my glasses. I was quoted almost 500 dollars for 1 pair of glasses NEVER have I ever paid that. I took my prescription to another eye doctor, and the exact same pair of glasses with everything that I wanted through. You guys was only $93 dollars. The guy that was helping keep trying to tell me that my insurance doesn’t cover progressive lenses which is a total lie. He keep try to sell my the platinum package. So this is where I part ways with these greedy people.

I went in for exam and new transition w/darkening glasses. Exam prices went up and when I asked for my prescription (since I wasn't going to buy glasses there) price went up. New frames were shown to me $600 and up. I asked for something lower and they were awful looking, cheap. I felt like I was dealing with a car salesman. My wife, daughters, mother-in-law have gone there for years and will no longer be going to Goldstone.

I stopped in on July 17 and told both Mark (office manager) and the receptionist that my cataract surgeon, Dr. Rowen wanted the past field of vision tests that you ran on me. Mark said it would be taken care of. I stopped by yesterday, July 27, and found out that nothing had been done. Your receptionist wasn't even sure that you had those (she strikes me as being deficient in knowledge about your operation). I do like your new optometrist, Dr. Pedroza. She explained in some detail about the condition of my eyes and I felt she knew what she was talking about.

I had a good experience yesterday with my annual eye check up. Dr. Lee was awesome. However, the charge for Retinal Photos which was not cover by VSP plan was not explained to me ahead of time. I have been coming to Dr.Alan Goldstone now for 11 to 12 Years. Things have improved a lot this Years Appointment compared to last Year when it was a mess. You couldn’t get thru on the phone. There was hardly any Staff. It had always been a well Staffed Office with lovely people until he merged with some unorganized Company. But it did not deter me! I am faithful to Dr. Goldstone! I was so thrilled with the phone system to get an Appointment and the welcome when I got there. And I told Dr. Goldstone. The nice young man on the desk was very professional. I was happy! Dr.Goldstone is the best! He has taken excellent care of my eyes all these Years. I appreciate him!

My family and I have always received exceptional service at Goldstone Vision. 6 years ago I had asked co-workers for a recommendation on an eye doctor and it's very clear why Goldstone Vision was recommended. Service is always prompt, yes there is sometimes a wait, but no more than any other medical office. And if you decide to purchase your Eyewear through them they are very clear about explaining what your insurance does or does not cover so you do not incur any surprises.

Insufficient communication among staff and patient. No communication when the office was closed when i had an appointment at that time. Took me two extra visits to finally get the right type of appointment. Staff tells the doctor that my appointment is 15 minutes later than the appointment time they tell me. Thus, I waited an additional 19 minutes after my scheduled appointment and it was the first one of the day. Doctor said he would explain about certain eye conditions, but he forgot. He issued me a new eye prescription, but then when I asked a question about it he issued me a changed eye prescription. This does not engender a high degree of confidence.

I've been coming to your off for quit some time now. I find your Is professionalism top notch. Over the years the prices for frames and lenses have gone it which forces me to shop a Costco. Please note: I did tell your receptionist that I would not be purchasing glasses or frames there. Your other eye Technician that took me back to do The preliminary eye exam asked me again while I was awaiting my prescription if I wanted to compare prices and I said no again! Two years ago I had a similar experience. So I think I'll just move on and do all of my eye all of exams at Costco .

Dr. Huang has horrible disposition. My eyes are 20/20 but she was insisting I have a stigmatism, which I do not. When telling Dr. Huang the prescription she created made my sight worse and stressed my eyes, she threw a fit like a child would. Either she is completely incompetent or intentional to make money off me. I told your staff I do not need prescription and only wanted reading glasses with 1.25 minimum. I was forced to see this doctor, she was probably my least favorite doctor ever. I would never step foot in shop again

This was my 3rd exam at this office. This time, the doctor became very impatient and short with me during the eye exam. She was going very very fast and I felt indecisive. I would recommend making an appointment in the morning and not before their lunch hour. The nicest employee was the lady who does the frames. I appreciated her kindness. I’m not sure I will be going back though as there are many many choices for this service in my area.

I am going to rave about the FV office. They are all very nice and helpful to try and get my needs covered and answers to my questions. And so far I have not had issues with my glasses. I did a while ago and it was still covered and they worked with me to get replacement lens at no charge. Dr Goldstone is very meticulous on getting the prescription correct and i have been going to this office for over 20 yrs.

I really loved the office staff and Dr. Goldstone. He was great with my daughter Olivia who is only 16 months old. I feel that other doctors I've been to have spent more time actually looking into my eyes and making sure they are healthy. I was also blindsided with how much a new prescription was going to cost. I really need new glasses and I wish they were able to offer me some sort of discount, payment options or work with my insurance to bill differently as my last optometrist had done. I did like the selection and options for contact lenses which would cost less now but more for me monthly than just having new prescription lenses put into my frames.

We have been patience with Dr. Harvey Goldstone for over 30 years and now we have his son Alan Goldstone as our eye doctor. You get excellent service, the doctor spends a lot of time with you and explaining everything so you understand it clearly. They are very professional and very thorough and we highly recommend them.

Fantastic time at the office as always. The doctors are always knowledgable and the staff is very friendly. Usually I do not wait and this time was not seen until almost 30/40 mins past my appointment time, that was the only bummer! However, I have been coming here for over 10 years and this was the only time I've had to wait this long.

I've been going there since about 1990. Dr. Harvey Goldstone was my first Doctor, then his son, and a couple of different Doctors, now Dr. Wong. Everyone that has examined me show the same care and thoroughness as Dr. Goldstone. I retired this January and through Medicare I have to go to their eye people. So I chose to pay for the VSP out of my pocket. I will continue to go to your office as long as I can. Thank You, Albert B. Pena

Dr. Goldstone is the absolute best Ophthalmologist I’ve been seen by! Never have I had an eye doctor take the time to properly care for my overall eye health. Dr. Goldstone connects with his patients and is the first doctor to ensure the best contact lens fit for my astigmatism and for my dry eyes. I've come to Goldstone Vision Center for several year and keep coming back for their professionalism and great customer service. I just had my annual exam for this year. Although I don't get to see the same doctor every year they all appear to be well qualified professional and know my vision history. When the staff assisted me with ordering new glasses, they did not try to sell me options that I don't need. I sure will be back next year. Thank you.

I’ve been coming here for years. The staff is always so helpful and friendly. I love the selection of frames. I’m usually able to find something I love on the lower end and the higher end. Everybody was extremely effecient in their respective jobs. Dr. Goldstone was very informative throughout my eye exam, the provider for frame and lense fitting was more effecient than any experience I have had. She helped me find just the frames I wanted with size and color.

Goldstone Vision Center has been our favorite optometry center for over twenty years! Scheduling is simple and you don't have to wait weeks to get in. Even in an emergency I have been given a same-day appointment. Exams are very state-of-the-art, financial responsibility and insurance coverage is well-detailed and explained, and besides my favorite, Dr. Alan Goldstone, the opticians are friendly, helpful and professional. We are moving to northern California later this year but I am willing to come 400 miles for my annual exams and that says a lot.

hi one of the testing machines wasn't working correctly during my visit i suggest that a machine is not used if not working correctly and that the malfunction not be discussed in front of a patient

I had an eye injury and was unable to get an appointment with my eye doctor of 12 years (was actually told by assistant to go to urgent care or ER). A friend referred me to Dr. Goldstone's office and was given an appointment for an hour later. Arrived, filled out paperwork and was promptly seen by Dr. Wong. Dr. Wong and staff were wonderful. I think I will be switching eye doctors!!
