I had not been to a dentist for quite a while and had some apprehensions about going. I first notice how professional the office staff was in setting my appointment to presenting me with a signed proposal of my visits cost. My visit went as well as I would hope it to be. The x-ray tech was kind and very gentle and was finished in half the time I thought it would take. I think she was very professional at her job. The dental assistant was very personable and caring. After I was good and gassed she was very gentle and made me feel as comfortable as a person could be while having a deep cleaning on their teeth. From the beginning to the end of my appointment I was happy that I had chosen Goldstein Dental Center.

I have never liked going to the dentist. Since I've been going to Goldstein Dental, I don't mind going to the dentist now. My dental exams are always great, I always receive a clean bill of health before I leave after each cleaning. The staff always takes great care of me and my daughter.

I have been a patient at Goldstein Dental since 2011. I have never had to wait longer than a few minutes of my scheduled appointment. From the front desk, to the dentists and hygienists each person is very valuable in making the experience a pleasant experience. In fact, the front desk was super supportive when I had my newborn with me but had to stay in the car due to rainy winter weather while my teenage son was seen for his routine cleaning. The young woman came out to my car when I thought it would be my son returning to say "mom they need you to sign and pay." Some of the best medical staff I have ever encountered.

Tina did a great job cleaning my teeth, and then she also performed a whitening treatment. She did a great job, and my teeth were much less sensitive after both treatments. Tina is always professional and punctual, and very friendly too.

From the first time I spoke with Sara at the reception desk, I knew that I had found a my new dentist. Sara greeted me a professional and very courteous manner. Additionally, when I arrived for my appointment, she continued to be very friendly and helpful. The entire process continued very smoothly meeting Miranda who ensured that all was ready and prepared for Dr. Perlow. The doctor was efficient and professional while also being extremely helpful and welcoming.

I might be imagining this. When i was finished getting my teeth cleaned, Rochelle simply disappeared. She did not say a word, good bye or whatever, but she just vanished. Someone else appeared, gave me mouthwash, set up an appt with me, and that was that. Rochelle has always been super professional and super nice, so it just seemed to be a strange way to end the visit. Again, not a big deal, but it left me with the impression that i may have pissed Rochelle off. Beats me.

I was new to Atlanta and referred to Dr.Goldstein, but was very apprehensive of a new dentist. Dr. Goldstein, along with his staff are professional, and your dental health is priority. Dr. Goldstein will not try to talk you into work you do not need, but will help you make choices that can be difficult to make when you have issues with dental care. He and his staff have so much consideration for me with expenses, choices of care, and my comfort. The atmosphere is professional, with sense of old school hospitality which is so refreshing in our ever changing society.

I liked the office had a good experience except for the fact that they tell you they are spraying your gums with antibacterial for inflammation and never mention it’s an additional $45 out if my pocket. You should tell the patient that and ask if they want it done. I would have refused simply because have never had to pay anything when getting a cleaning at prior dentist. I even have 2 insurances. Please do not offer additional services that really aren’t necessary to make extra money and not even tell them patient til they check out. This leaves a bad taste for business.

As a Registered Dental Hygienist I am very picky with who I allow to work on my mouth. I recently decided that I'd like to cosmetically enhance my 4 front teeth & chose Dr. Goldstein to do my treatment. From the consult through to my first treatment appointment he & the team were amazing. Dr. G takes his time to understand your needs/wants, he truly listens to you, & fully explains the process. The office ladies worked diligently with me to get my payment & get me scheduled as soon as possible, as I am in a time crunch to have my treatment done due to leaving the country. My first treatment appointment the assistant, Luis, made me extremely comfortable with a pillow, blanket, & setting me up on the nitrous. This helped me relax as I was very anxious going in to this appointment because making changes to your teeth is a big decision. Dr. G then came in, answered all of my final questions, & I was pleasantly surprised that his anesthesia technique is truly virtually painless! Dr. G even had the lab technician who will be designing my veneers come into the office so she could discuss with he & I the color/size/desires for the look of my teeth. Phenomenal personal skills & treatment by Dr. G & Luis. My temporary veneers look amazing & I've had many compliments already, I can't wait for the final product!

Dr. Perlow was very friendly and professional. I was terrified that there would be an issue extracting my tooth, but it took him literally less than five minutes and I was all done. Total time in the office was under half an hour. Everyone in the building were super friendly. Will definitely return for all my dental needs.

Every aspect of their practice is a pleasure with whom to interact including the support staff who answer the phone, arrange your appointments, settle your bills, etc. The professional staff is outstanding including, by not limited to those who clean your teeth, the dentists and those who create your bridges, caps, etc.. In addition, everyone is professional, pleasant and friendly and the office environment is very clean and pleasant. A visit to the dentist with them is not an experience to be dreaded as some I have experienced in the past.

This was my second visit to the office and I wasn’t fully satisfied with my quality of care. I came in for a semi-annual cleaning and the Dr Perlow never came in to examine my teeth (which has never happened in other places I’ve been to). I feel that should be mandatory to see your patient to make sure the dental hygienist hasn’t missed anything. Also, hygenist should be transparent if their is additional charges to any service provided other than standard cleaning.

I am new to this practice - by a recommendation from a cousin when I moved to Atlanta. My first visit was very pleasant. The staff from the front desk up to the doctor were all knowledgeable and friendly. The office is an older building, but they brightened it up with some color and TVs. I plan on going back. My teeth feel ten times better now that they are clean!

Goldstein Dental Center is the best ever! I chipped my bridge and the dentist that did my bridge told me she couldn’t fix it, I would need a new one! So I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Goldstein that my sister recommended. My first time there, and he fixed my chipped tooth (bridge) on the spot!! My appointment was at 3:30, I was sitting in the chair at 3:34, he explained everything he was going to do, and the staff was very nice and helpful! Shout out to Terkelah and his assistant!! The low score of this review is down to a single person in the office, Priscilla. I specifically chose this provider because they are listed as accepting BCBS. When I arrived at the office, I was asked to fill out paperwork and provide my insurance information. I heard Priscilla on the phone with them confirming my coverage and when I was taken to the back, my hygienist asked her what to do and I heard Priscilla say "everything." My X-rays, cleaning and consult with Dr. Goldstein were all exemplary. If not for what happened afterwards, I would be this office's biggest fan and word-of-mouth advertiser. When my appointment was complete, Priscilla told me my total was $297. I was completely aghast - I've NEVER paid more than a $20 copay for a standard bi-annual dental cleaning. I asked why my insurance wasn't paying for the appointment and she said that while the office is a BCBS provider, they aren't "in-network" for BCBS of Alabama, which is what my employer provided me. After confirming this with the insurance company, I questioned Priscilla why she wouldn't give me this information BEFORE my cleaning, giving me the opportunity to confirm whether or not I wanted to spend hundreds of dollars on an out-of-network cleaning. I would not have. She would not make eye contact with me. She offered no apology. And she didn't offer to get an office manager involved. I can tell you that I will never again cross the threshold of this office. I feel cheated and taken advantage of.

already posted google review: Late on Thursday night, I was out walking my three dogs and tripped over uneven pavement on the sidewalk. I face planted on the sidewalk, scraping my face and injuring two front teeth. On Friday morning, I tried calling my normal dentist but her office was closed. I called a local oral surgeon and she recommended I try Dr. Goldstein. I called his office and even though I had never been there before, they worked me into their busy schedule. Everyone was so nice and helpful (and sympathetic). I looked a mess, with one tooth almost completely gone. Dr. Goldstein worked magic on my mouth, smoothing over one tooth and totally reconstructing another. I actually think both teeth look better than they did before! THANK YOU Dr. Goldstein and staff for saving me from a disaster in my mouth!

I came in for Teeth Bleaching. I have had this done at another dentist's office and am accustomed to pretty good results with 45 minutes of bleach on my teeth in conjunction wtiha light. Goldstein dental does NOT use a light and only left the solution on my teeth for a total of 30 minutes (two 15 minute sessions). It appears they do not have the latest technology and I see almost no difference in my teeth now that a couple of days have passed. As instructed I did not eat or drink anything that would stain my teeth for 48 hrs after the treatment.

Dr. Goldstein‘s expertise in cosmetic dentistry is unsurpassed. After 40 years of living with different colored crowns on my front teeth, he gave me a beautiful smile I can be proud of. The care that I get is excellent, but the administration is terrible. You changed my last appointment three times after first giving it to me at my previous visit. The first change occurred a few weeks after the appointment was made, which was fine as it was months away. The second one was made a week or so from the scheduled appointment and the third change was days before I was to make the second appointment. I also work for a living and I have my own schedule which I will not keep changing for you in the future. It makes my life very difficult.

I really enjoyed my visit. I had the honor of Rose being my hygienist. I was running a few minutes behind with my appointment time due to my work schedule. Even with being late Rose still worked her magic. She was thorough, knowledgeable, and a great pleasure to work with. She explained to me my x-rays. She gave her professional opinions on how I should care for my teeth moving forward and she made me feel very comfortable. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. This is now my dental home for life! Thank you so much!

I’ve been going to Goldstein Dental Center for 10 years and absolutely love the staff, the dentists, and the office. They’re friendly and efficient. The office is bright and inviting. TVs above each chair are a nice bonus and help you (sort of) forget about the poking and prodding that happens at the dentist! Would recommend them to anyone.

Rose is a wonderful dental hygienist, always a pleasure to interact with her during my twice yearly visits. Fortunately my teeth are in good shape, so I have limited experience with the actual dentist - but he is rather nice and thorough when it comes time to check out your teeth.

I like the fact that it's a freestanding building. No parking hassles or elevators. The front office people are very professional and nice. They accommodated me on short notice, while in a substantial amount of pain. The hygienist, Miranda, was very experienced and helped me understand quickly what we were dealing with. The costs were explained upfront, and how my insurance coverage would be applied. Dr. Perlow was available quickly and helped me make good decisions on my care. He completed the work efficiently and without pain. (I had to have a tooth pulled fir the first time in my life). He then went the extra mile to be sure I had the best meds for my recovery. He even provided his cell number and asked that I follow up with him the next day, even though the office was closed. Not only have I found my new permanent dentist, but my 81 year old mother is now strongly considering a move to this office as well.

Dr. Goldstein is great! He has a great, calm manner when you are getting work done that is very important to those who don’t like going to the dentist. They have payment options for those who don’t have dental insurance too.
