Great experience. Friendly front office staff, and amazing Dental Hygienist and Dentist. I've had the same dental hygienist Meagan for several years, and she is always nice and takes good care of my teeth. The Dentist gave me tips on how to keep my teeth clean, and the importance of taking care of my teeth. I am confident to smile with healthy clean teeth after my visit from Friendly Dental located at Myrtle Rd in Gastonia, North Carolina.

I love this place. The staff and dentist are great. I made him promise not to leave or retire. Lol he has done so much work on me. I had sever dental anxiety before going here. I was a nervous wreck. Just this week my daughter who had never had anything more than cleaning done went for several fillings and was so at ease and relaxed. This child hates needles. I hadn't been back in the same dentist office twice in 20 years and I refuse to go anywhere else now. I have just a little more work that needs done and so does my daughter. I just wish he saw kids as young as 7 and my son would go as well. I am switching him to the pediatric dentist there though. I recommend them to everyone. I won't say that I'm thrilled about dental or Dr appointments ever. Even though I'm like ugh I gotta go I rather go than end up like I was. The thing that is most important to me is he DOES NOT LIE. He tells you everything answers all questions. On top of that he's a really cool guy and his staff is amazing.

This was my second appointment of many more to come for extractions, deep cleaning, and parcels. I would have to say that all the staff have been very informative, friendly, and take my dental health to the utmost concern. The dentist and dental assistant have been awesome with my eight teeth I've had extracted, with minimal pain days after surgery.

I recently visited Friendly Dental's Gastonia location on Myrtle School Road for a routine dental cleaning and annual x-rays. Everything went extremely well, from start to finish, and I was in and out in under a hour. The staff was friendly from the receptionist to the hygienist and the dentist. Thankful for a dentist office with such excellent customer service this close to home!

Friendly staff. Patient and caring dentists. Really like getting my dental care here. Only disappointed is how long it's taking to get my permanent crown. It's been difficult with temporary cap, tooth very sensitive sometimes painful.

The people there are nice however, it was the worst experience of my life! I changed dentist only to be put in a life changing situation. Went for fillings and I’ve now had to get a root canal for the procedure that was done incorrectly. I was in so much pain and they kept telling me I needed to let the tooth heal. As if I didn’t know the process of getting a filling or haven’t had one before. I've been in so much pain for some fillings only to have went back today for the other tooth and them to tell me the same thing has happened, from a situation 4 months ago. How are y’all just now knowing that?! I’m very upset for something so horrible to be done to me and I have to pay for it. HOW CARELESS AND INCONSIDERATE!

I love dr. Alan as he is a Gentle Dentist :-) I've always had apprehension of going to the dentist but he puts my mind at great. They've always truly cared about the health of my teeth and gums. I can have truthful conversations with them and get truthful responses. In the past, I've felt like they places just want to get me in and out as quickly as possible. It's so nice that I haven't had to worry about that in years! By fare it was the best two dentist visits i ever had. Staff were very friendly and professional, The dentist talks through everything he is about to do. You can tell he loves his job. My two crowns feel like natural teeth, not like something that have been surgically added.

I was so comfortable. The staff and Dr M were the kindest people I’ve ever met. The procedures were explained and they printed out my insurance coverage and what I would pay so that I would know how much work I could get done with what funds I had. Ava enjoyed her 1st dentist appointment! It was important to me that she builds a great relationship with her dentist so she won’t be scared. The only thing I was upset about (as her mom) was that i wasn’t able to go back with her. I do not think that was friendly dentals fault though, they are just abiding by the CDC guidelines! I have the worst dental anxiety. No dentist has seen me twice in the last 15-20 years. I cry before leaving. I just had my second appointment in a month. Dr Abdullah is awesome. He tells you everything and I have another appointment in 2 weeks. Freddy the hygienist is cool too. Seriously if you have any anxiety or just need a good dentist this is the one. As soon as my kids are old enough to switch they will go to him. 💝

They took one of my teeth out and I have not had any problems. They also added a tooth to my existing partial and I am not having any problems with that either. The office staff were very friendly and efficient. Our appointment was for 9:30 and they called us in around 9:25 and were finished around 10. The dentist and hygienist were both very gentle with my son, which was a major deciding factor in whether or not to stick with this dentist because he had an unpleasant experience with the previous dentist/hygienist he saw at a different practice. Very happy with the visit!

Due to a very bad dental experience from previous dentist that I use to use, I suffer very badly from PTSD Dentistry and I usually have to take something for my nerves in order to have any major dental procedures performed on me. However, I was able to have to procedures completed this time without the additional medication. I was very thankful for the staffs' patience and understanding with me. It made this dreaded day more tolerable and way less dramatic for me. I am sure to others it seems a bit childish and over the top but I appreciate people who take the time to understand and are patient with me. To me, your name say it all, "Friendly Dental"! Came in 7/8/16, at 11:15am as instructed to allow 15 minutes for paperwork. Waited 30 minutes past my appointment at 11:30. In the back I was treated fast and well taken care of. Asked for a copy of my x-ray during the visit. After I was well taken care of. I got my work note, two referrals to a oral surgeon, and my prescription. My bad not asking again for x-ray...So I call when I get home after my prescriptions, and struggled trying to get a copy of x-ray. The receptionist explained I would have to drive back down and sign a release form. So I ask... I spoke with doctor while I was there does that count? She put me on hold to ask. Then came back and verified my email with her paperwork. Than explained that she was sorry and that I would get a copy. THE ISSUE: No copy of x-ray!! No referrals sent to the oral surgeons I was recommended. I have made an appointment on July 26th, WITH your "Oral Surgery Associated of Charlotte" No x-ray or referral sent to them of 7/11pm. Fix Plz

The Dental Hygienist was awesome. This was my little girls first visit to the dentist and she showed her everything and explained it on a kid level. My child's name is Daycee Frady, in case you are able to find out which Dental Hygienist she had. We did not spend as much time with the dentist but she was great as well. I could not have been happier when I left, even knowing I still needed some work done. I was treated like they cared about my overall health and not just a paycheck. I would highly recommend this office, very caring, clean, polite, and do the best they can to help you. Yes I had a bit of a wait, but once meeting the dentist and the rest of the staff that treated me, totally worth the wait!
