My visit with Dr. Davis on Thursday of last week was good. Explain my labs and I had several questions I asked in regards to my A1C level. She was concerned listed on a sheet of paper a normal level reading,Prediabetes and Diabetes numbers and recommend I have lab work done to see if I was Prediabetes. Thankfully I did do my lab results came back in normal range I was ready glad about my A1C level.

Dr. Davis is an experienced and thorough practitioner and I owe her a lot. She has been able to catch Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, recognized a serious back injury with nerve damage that an ER doctor at EGMC did not, and was able to get me to a neurosurgeon in time for surgery so that my nerves continue to recover. I appreciate the consistent care and would give six stars if I could.

My only issue is during visit I heard my finger is fractured. Next day I get a phone call stating all is well nothing broken. I called twice and sent email I still don’t know if the knuckle had a fracture or not. Y’all are usually outstanding so I chalk this up to well dang you had a rough week.

It was my family’s first time seeing Mrs. Kellie Whitener but she was great with our son! She eased our worries, has a great bedside manner, and was really nice and showed concern! We would normally see Mrs. Susan (we miss her) but there are other great doctors at this practice. Mrs. Alex is great, and so is Dr. Riley! I’m glad that we saw Mrs. Kellie though so we have another doctor that we can begin to see here as well.

I came in on Monday to get a urine sample had been experiencing burning when using the bathroom and felt fatigue. The wait was not long the Medical Assistance called me back to get vitals in less than 15 minutes. She asked me to give a urine specimen I did thereafter, place me into a room. Less than 20 minutes Dr.Davis came in alone with a trainee from MCG asked a few questions listen to me with stesatscope went to check my urine culture came back stated I had a UTI she was going to put me in antibiotics. I loved her services she was thorough direct and quick would recommend a Family member if needed too.

Wonderful attention by Ms. Tillman, as always! Competence, candor. However, I have had repeated difficulty with the phone system, requiring more than one phone message to get a response. Also have had repeated problems with meds approval. Two days after I visit, still no approval at the pharmacy. This puts me into the weekend without meds.

This was my second well health visit to Statesboro Family Health Care Center. I saw Kelly T. last year and I saw Kellie W. this visit. They are both wonderful! They were both very courteous, conscientious, and considerate regarding my health questions and concerns. They were both very thorough and took time to ensure that my concerns were addressed. My sons also have Dr. Riley as their primary. He was wonderful with them. He was very thorough and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend Statesboro Family Health Care Center!

Disappointed with my last visit at Family Health Care Center. I have been seeing Dr. Riley since I was a child. This time, however, I saw Kellie Whitener. While I was a bit hesitant for seeing someone who was not Dr. Riley, my last appointment here was with someone new and it went well so I was ready to give it a try. This time , however, I feel as if I explained my concerns and symptoms and the nurse did not listen to them. I work in the healthcare field and see cases like this often. I also know what I am struggling with as a 30 year old adult and it is not anxiety. I was prescribed medication for anxiety after telling her my symptoms of adult ADHD. I took the anxiety medication for 2 days and they gave me extremely negative thoughts accompanied with nausea. They also did not help me in concentrating and focusing on tasks (which was my issue). A little disappointed so I will be finding a new healthcare physician.

Dr. A. Weathersby is the absolutely BEST! I am just so grateful for her actually hearing what I had to say and properly treating my issue. Today is the first day in two months that I have had very minimum pain. I haven't felt this great in a while and I couldn't be more grateful for her help. My appointment to get Covid booster was at 1:20. When I checked in I told the receptionist i had left my vaccine card in the pickup, but she assured me it was not needed. When I finally was called to get the shot, which was 20 minutes later, I was told I needed the card, so I had to go to the pickup and get it. The process to get a shot the takes 10 seconds lasted 30 to 40 minutes.

My problem is not with my Nurse Practitioner nor the doctors, but one of the nurses. One of them was incredibly nice and as helpful as she could be but one of them yelled at me over the phone. The more that I thought about my experience with said nurse the more I was concerned for others with disabilities and mental health issues. It was so incredibly inappropriate and unprofessional that I have to say something about it even knowing that more than likely nothing will be done. I gave her no reason to start yelling at me as I was calm and collected the whole time. I work in customer service, so I know how to control myself, and I know that talking through problems caused from within is properly handled through calm discussion. However, the fact that she thought it was appropriate and necessary to scream at, talk over, and belittle a 25-year old girl with documented mental health disabilities was incredibly troubling. It made me wonder if she was talking to others this way, with autism, eating disorders or depressive disorders. I could tell based off the voice which nurse called me, since I have met with her in the office prior. I believe something should be done about this, however I don't believe anything will be done. Regardless, this needed to be said. Abuse is far too common in society and in customer service, it shouldn't be received from within a doctor's office.

I am not happy with my last visit . I have been coming to this office for years and no one has ever followed up on anything I’ve had done . My records were never followed up in from my previous provider so they had no clue of my history when I went in for this visit . Dr. Riley always takes the time to thoroughly explain things. Most doctor always seems to be in a rush to get in and out as quickly as possible, but Dr. Riley always seems to take the extra time to review, ask questions, diagnose and answer questions. This means a lot to me, I really dislike doctors that treat me like I am on an assembly line. Dr. Riley is brutally honest with me, telling me what I need to hear (even when the truth hurts). I feel Dr. Riley truly cares about my health and well-being.

My husband and I are really very glad we use Family Health as our physicians. I see Dr. Davis and he sees NP Weathersby and sometimes Dr. Riley. Everyone at the office is very professional and helpful. Our medical providers always listen to our issues and we always get great advice to resolve them. Office wait time is minimal and we’re in and out in a very timely manner. My husband recently had a medical emergency which his provider identified during an office visit which most likely saved his life! Amazing! Thank you to everyone!

Kellie Whitener was great. She went above and beyond to help. However, I was advised that if the medication did not work over the weekend, to call the office so she change the prescription. I've been trying to call the office since Monday to notify Kelly that I was still in pain. I have called multiple times and had left multiple messages. The office has yet to return my call. I am very disappointed.

Online presence is not a priority for my health care provider....I am looking for health care from a primary care physician...not a pleasant browsing experience. Unfortunately, that is becoming harder and harder to find and I'm disappointed in my last several visits to the facility. It is nearly impossible to actually speak to someone.....by one can certainly get a lot of practice punching buttons on a phone keypad and listening to messages.

I arrived for a 9:45 appointment at 9:30, knowing that I would need to fill out paperwork since this was my first appointment in 2021. I was called back to labs before I could fill out the paperwork. My blood was drawn by very friendly nurses and I was finished before my appointment time.

I was in extreme pain due to cyst in a VERY uncomfortable location. Dr. Riley made me feel comfortable through the entire visit and procedures. He has good bedside manners that newer doctors don’t have. Also, I called on Sunday and spoke with the on call doctor, Dr. Davis. She was very curt and unhelpful. She provided no direction, just told me to go to ER if I felt I needed too. I could have gotten that advice from my 9 year old. Not sure what the purpose of the on call doctor was for. I decided to wait and saw Dr. Riley the next day, which I’m glad I did!

Thanks to Dr. Riley for taking time to review my son’s lab work. He made some practical preventative recommendations to improve my son’s health and steer him in the right direction medically. I have been seeing Susan Riley for approximately 33 years. She is great, and I highly recommend her. However, the on call nurse is very curt and condescending. I also informed the front office that my personal portal was not working, and the response was that she couldn't get hers to work either. I was not offered help in getting resolution to the problem. I also have a problem with getting returned phone calls.

The PA I have, Caitlin is great. She is a really good listener, knows a lot, and really cares about me-I can tell, so probably does care. But, I had a terrible time with your staff up front yesterday- they would't believe me that I met my deductible (months ago) and wanted me to pay a $20 copay, which I didnt do because Blue Cross is covering it and I've met my deductible I called bue Cross- Anthem today who confirmed it and called your office about it. I did meet it months ago and do not owe a copay and feel humiliated that your staff wouldn't believe me/ I was treated very poorly/ NIna Freifeld-Giles

Everything was good where Chloe is concerned. But the fact that would not accept her dad as a patient because he has Medicaid concerns me. I have six family members as patients there it would seem that after treating there for close to 20 yrs that as a member of my family you would make an exception. I could not speak to manager I was stopped at front desk. My son needs to see a Dr & no one in Statesboro will accept Medicaid. That is sad.

Susan not only remembered relevant medical details from when I was her patient many years ago, she instantly noted and treated potential issues of concern that at least 8 MD's totally missed in the last years ( These Doctor had the lab work in- hand and ignored what Susan easily flagged as areas of concern). I called yesterday to get my grandson in or an appointment and was told very bluntly and rudely that there "were no appointments". I was not offered an appointment for the next day. I said, "my grandson is very sick with a high fever is there and is only 4, is there any possible way he could be fit in because he is pediatric with anyone?" Again, "no, we do not fit anyone in, we have no appointments" I used to work with Dr. Riley and Ms. Susan and know for a fact if we had a sick pediatric or elderly patient that we always did our best to fit the patient in to be seen. I hung up the phone and contacted Adrienne who thank God answered me and fit Bentley in who was very sick with the flu. I also left a message on the voice mail of the office administrator in which I have yet to have gotten a call back. This is not the first time I have had a bad experience with the front office staff and it makes me very sad because I love Dr. Davis, De. Riley, and Ms. Susan and my loyalty has always been to them as my whole family has continued to be patients at the practice. 3 of my 4 kids are grown and have moved out and have continued care and their spouses, partners, and children are also part of the practice. Experiences like yesterday are very disheartening since i was once part of that staff and loved those patients as my family. I would normally chalk this up to a bad day for a worker but this is one of many occasions I have been told an appointment wasn't available (no others offered) or an argument was made that Tatum couldn't be seen for a well check and an acute appointment at the same time (I had to explain to them that a well check appointment and an acute appointment could be made in two different slots and that I would pay a copay for the acute appointment.) Please tell front staff to have more compassion and solution with patients and thank God for Adrienne!!!

Dr. Riley was the only doctor that took touch me to see what was wrong, or where the problem was coming from. I saw two others before but the service suck . My first appointment with him for my problem didn’t go well for me but I did a follow up and things changed. Only advice I have for him is not to cut the patient off when they’re explaining or trying to answer the question he asked .Other than that. I would refer someone to him before anyone else.

Excellent service. It leaves a lot to be desired as far as software. Poor appointment accuracy. The last three times I have made an appointment, someone has changed my appointment without giving me any notice until the day before. Also little feedback as far as lab results. The portal seems to only give an overview, I would rather have more detail.

I was in pain from my head, I call and got in to see my doctor, she step right on my condition and thank goodness found out what was wrong. Thanks and I continue to come back.
