My first visit to Mayer Eye Care was awesome! I did not wait for my appointment at all. The doctor's assistant ran the tests before the doctor came in and he was very professional and proficient. The doctor came in and we went over my results and he gave me helpful information as I debated between contacts and glasses. As I wrapped up the appointment I was offered the opportunity to order glasses but I wanted to check other options first. I felt no pressure and was given my prescription. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes!! Wonderful experience!

Love the customer service, Daniel was very professional and knowledgeable, had a confident air about him. He provided the type of cs that seems to have faded away. I did not know Aetna was sending some mailings to an address I did not authorize. I found out after going to Mayer, in the Aetna network, that I had been mailed a different Aetna provider. I also did not know Mayer offered frames and lenses. I had already made different plans for those. Dr Mayer provides more diagnostic results immediately to patients than I have ever received my whole life. His part and that of his staff is personalized unlike some medical installations in the Las Vegas- Henderson area. I was provided an update for my GP. On the wall you will see an award for the top 100 doctors and dentists in the area for 2019. I am chatty and I learned he has more awards but didn't purchase the wall display for us to see them. If someone is so inclined, it sounds like a mighty fine and appropriate Christmas present. As always, perhaps the Lord wanted me at Mayer, not what Aetna printed on my many months later received announcement about vision benefits.

Mayer Eye Care saw my 13 year old daughter today for her annual checkup, and while there she was fitted for contacts for the first time. Dr. Mayer was super helpful and thorough explaining all the details about wearing contacts to my daughter, and his assistance was amazing at teaching her how to put the contacts in and take them out on her own. The whole process was super easy thanks to Dr. Mayer and his staff. Highly recommend Mayer Eye Care if you’re needing vision services for your family.

Dr. Mayer and his staff are truly special people. He has been our family, extended family’s eye Dr for years. Dr. Mayer now has the most advanced equipment in his office which REALLY makes eye exams a breeze! The office is impeccably spotless, which is SO important these days. I cannot say enough GOOD THINGS about this Doctor & Office Staff! I have been going to Shepherd Eye Center for several years. I had to have a current eye exam to renew my drivers license - this month. When I called Shepherd they could not schedule until July!!! Dr Mayers Office is close to my home!!! I am go glad I found him! I am not just a 'number' to him. How wonderful is this in our day of 'hurry get in get out' collect money!!!

I moved to Las Vegas about 3 years ago now, and I needed to have the eyes examined. I chose Mayer Eye Care because I noticed the sign outside the office on my daily commute and took a chance. I am very happy I did. Wonderful and helpful office staff. Dr. Mayer has always been very thorough during my appointments. I have not regretted taking a chance on Mayer Eye Care.

Have always received great care here. Dr. Mayer takes time with you and addresses any concerns. When it's your turn to be seen it is your turn, his attention is on you. Not like some of these bigger places where you feel like you are being herded in and out of rooms and they just want to get you out. Glasses selection is good and if you have any issues they are quick to resolve them. Definitely recommend!!

I went to Mayer Eye Care for an eye exam and glasses prescription. I was able to get an appointment easily and quickly. All the people I encountered working there were very friendly and easy to deal with. Dr. Mayer was especially easy and relaxing to work with, and did a very thorough examination. After the examination, the technician went over the results and we discussed options on glasses. I decided to check prices at other vendors before I made a decision, so they gave me a copy of my prescription to take with me. All very helpful and low-pressure. I highly recommend Mayer Eye Care, and would have given 5 stars except I ended up having to spend longer than usual in the exam room due to other patients needing the doctor's assistance before I was done. I don't think this was typical, so most likely 5 stars most of the time.

I switched to Mayer eye care when they first opened up a few years ago, mainly because they were so close to my house. I love many things about there office. There staff is always kind and professional, you never feel rushed or like they are in a hurry when they are helping you. The lady at the front desk knows my name and just today I went in to pick up my contact order, she was helping someone else and when she went to the cabinet to get the other customers glasses, she grabbed my contacts, handed them to me and said, Amanda Brown right? I waited less then 5 minutes. It was so fast to pick them up. The doctors are very personable and always on time which is big for me. I have NEVER been to an eye doctor where my wait was under an hour until I started going to Dr. Mayer. Plus he remembers the conversations we have had in the past, things I have said about my family, and so forth. Maybe he types them into his computer for notes or something, but I don't care. I think it's impressive that keeps track of details like that about his patients. In fact just today I referred someone to Mayer Eye Care from the gym.
