I had the best experience at eye care of Iowa on army post road. The lady that I seen was amazing! She listened to me and my eye feels 100% better. I could not have asked for a better doctor. Also the lady at the front desk was so caring-she was telling me that today was her last day and she was retiring. She was also an amazing lady. Thanks eye care if iowa for being so kind and working me in.

Not the friendliest, most helpful staff this past Saturday. I get working on Saturdays can be a bummer, but having a bad attitude towards patients is unprofessional. And from my observations in the waiting area, I wasn't the only patient who was getting attitude from the staff. Too bad. We have always liked coming to this location. Maybe it was just an off day for everyone there that day. This was our first time coming on a Saturday. We may stick to weekday appointments in the future.

I came in with high expectations on getting help picking out my new glasses and concerned about how they were going to fit. The gal that helped me was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She made me feel assured that my glasses were going to be the correct fit. And it didn't seem hard for her or a big issue. I will not be straying elsewhere for my glasses or my eye exam. This was, again, a 5-star visit. It was sort of an emergency for me - I really scratched a big portion of my eye - and they got me into the doctor right away. The visit was organized, quick, and thorough. And this was a new doctor there for me - and he was outstanding! Plus, they made great efforts to accommodate my follow-up visit - due to my out-of-town travels.

From the first time I walked into EyeCare of Iowa, PC, with the friendly welcoming, "Good morning", I felt it was a place I could feel comfortable and confident that they knew what they were doing. My eyes are important to me and they made me feel as though it was the same to them. The service was easy-going and competent. I needed glasses but didn't want to look like a dweeb wearing them. Everyone loves the glasses I got there and I feel happy wearing them - they are pretty cool. But don't take my word for it, go see for yourself.

The staff was friendly and professional. One staff member was apparently still in training so some of the information he gave me was not accurate but those issues were quickly addressed by another staff member. The eye exam was thorough. I did not feel rushed. I expect to receive my new glasses in approximately 2 weeks and will revise or complete a new review at that time. Overall, I am very pleased with the service received so far. I was very specific in what I wanted and I belive my request has been met.

The Doctor and staff, except Adam were great. Adam: I sat down, he asked if I wanted sun glasses and I said no. He took my glasses back and put new nose pads. He than said he had all the information he needed and there was no charge, than stated waiting on a different customer. I was still siting at his station and remained there thinking he was going to return. I finally asked someone else for help and he finally came back and said I could go. I left my glasses on the paper work and left. He came out to my car to give me my glasses. I had to go back in to get new lenses ordered. I stated I wanted the new lenses with the same options of the last pair. He never showed me any work up sheet or options that would save me money. Nor, wrote one up when I was there. He took the paper work the Doctor provide and my glasses. I paid for them and he said if I want a work up/break down sheet I can request one when I pick up my glasses. Not happy at all with my interaction/lack of action with him Not even sure what he finally wrote up I hope he used the new prescription. I have no record of what I paid for. Recommend he be given additional customer service training so he will learn to take proper time with and listen to the customer to make sure they are satisfied before they leave. I was not...

I am extremely satisfied with the service I was provided during my visit. The staff was friendly and quick to attend to my needs. I did not have a wait time and I was taken to an exam room immediately. I felt like I was heard by the doctor and staff. Amber was great. She helped me pick out glasses and order contacts that would fit my unique prescription. Since I would be paying out of pocket for one of the items, Amber made sure I was getting the best deal available. I sincerely appreciate all of the help that I received and I cannot wait to pick up my glasses and contacts.

This was my first visit/new patient for the office. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. Dr. Dielman was extremely thorough with my exam and she went a step further in my exam due to a family history of macular degeneration.. the process of choosing new glasses was easy as the staff gave me different options and explained what my insurance covered.

My annual eye exam went well as always. I have been going to "Eye Care of Iowa" for close to 40-years now and my experiences over the years have always been good. I have been to 3 of their office locations over those years and I am always impressed by the professionalism of their staff and Doctors. The Doctors take their time during examination to discuss my eye health and provide feedback on the condition of my vision and vision needs. Even when I had retinal issues in one eye they caught the problem early and thankfully, with a good referral, and after a surgical procedure my vision remained intact.

Have to wait a while in lobby, then after the assistance check my eye, I have to wait again in the room before doctor show up, then after my eye get diluted and I choose my frame they call me back in the room and I just seat there waiting for almost 30 minutes. My exam took almost 3 hours total.

Everyone at Eyecare of Iowa was very friendly and knowledgeable. I had a few questions for Dr. Lee regarding bifocal/progressive lenses (I’m right on the cusp), and the pros and cons of lasik surgery. Dr. Lee listened to all questions I had, and gave his expert opinion. He then (without me asking) tested me for bifocal needs. Luckily I’m not quite there yet! The entire staff is welcoming and friendly. They have my business for life!

Eye Care of Iowa on Army Post is a clean, modern place filled with caring people that only want the best for you. Dr. Lee gives a full check of your eyes to keep your eye health at its best. They will recommend only what you need; not what they need to move. They have a play area for the youngsters and a nice waiting area for the adults. They accept insurance and Medicare if you qualify. Try them. You will like the place. You may pay a little less and you may get your glasses faster at other places but you won't find a better place for your complete eye health and service.

Yesterday I was in the office with both of my teenage daughters. We saw a different doctor than we normally see and the appointment went great. He explained everything as he did it ensured we had no questions. After the appointment I needed to find a new pair of glasses and the gentleman that assisted me checked other stores for what I was looking for since the Army Post location did not have the frames. Since he was unable to locate them he researched and found he could order them on line and have them delivered to their location for me. In the past I've felt pressured to settle on a pair of frames and last year I chose not to get a pair because the ones on site weren't what I was looking for. No one offered to check other stores last year but this year they checked other stores and also researched online to get me a pair as close to what I currently have. I left feeling very well taken care of. Even my teenagers were impressed!

Wow! I was greeted by a wonderful and friendly receptionist who was eager to help me get started. Then a nice man came and took me back to do a preliminary exam. He asked a lot of questions and did a good exam. Next I went to see the Dr. he shook my hand and introduced himself and his eye exam began. After my exam, a very nice young gal took me to look at glasses. She wrote everything down that I need and the prices. I will recommend Eye Care of Iowa to all my friends.

We liked the new remodeled look of the office. We were greeted by two young ladies with smiles. We signed the necessary forms. I was taken back immediately . The young lady with blond hair was very kind and professional. Dr Lee came in less than ten minutes. He was his usual self. Professional, sence of humor , answered questions, and gave me advice. This was my first experience with EYECARE of IOWA and I would recommend them to all! The receptionist is very cheerful and kind; which we have all learned is the first indication that the rest of the crew will be great, too! Nobody "pushes" you to purchase their frames after your exam, and because of that, I will probably stop back in and retry on a couple of frames that caught my eye. Try them out; hopefully you will "see" the same positive things I experienced.

Maybe it would be better to inform the patient of the costs outside of the insurance prior to the all the testing. Other than that I'm satisfied with the service and expertise. And very happy to receive some contact lenses to use until my new purchased lenses come in. Thank you!

I was welcomed warmly, promptly assisted and given excellent eye care. It's rare these days to excel in all areas of a business, but Eye Care of Iowa has done just that. Dr. Ward was professional, easy to talk to and shows genuine interest in his patients and improving their vision. I was recommended several new contact lenses which provided me a chance to improve the fit of my usual lenses. I was given eye drops that really keep my eyes from drying out. I even walked out with 20/15 vision for the first time in a long time. It makes a difference to go to someone whose innovative in the field and emerging in his career versus someone who merely treats you as another client and never explores new ways to improve your vision. I've worn glasses and contacts for over 20 years and visited over 12 different eye care offices in four different states and I can confidently say that this is simply the best care I've recieved from the best doctor and staff. I expect to be a repeat customer for years to come.

I had a urgent situation with my left eye. Shingles were approaching it. I asked my doctor to refer me to Eye Care of Iowa because I had used them for my yearly check up and was very pleased with the care I received. The doctor examined me and then prescribed meds for my improvement and an immediate follow up a couple of days later to judge my progress. I was very comfortable with it all. Thank you.

I love EyeCare of Iowa not only because I've been going there for years but because they have a great selection of glasses and the people who work there always remember me year after year! They give me great advice when I ask for it, and they leave me alone when I don't for the most part which is something I really appreciate !

Exceptional service. It took a few times to get the bifocal placement right for my eyes, and each time the staff was professional and patient. The personal service from the receptionist knowing my new last name, to the physician taking extra time on my exam makes me feel valued and important.

Answered "not really" to #2 because I had forgotten to ask what my results were. Really appreciate the message containing my results! Even though I was warned I was really surprised how sensitive my eyes were when I left and was glad I had sunglasses.
