I was happy to see the doctor and have him tell me how my eyes were doing. I trust him with my vision, he always makes me feel confident in what he says. The young lady that did the tests was very friendly and put me at ease. I was very satisfied with my appointment and know if I have any concerns during the year, I can always contact him.

The check in process for an eye exam is good and straight forward. I was confident during the exam that the optometrist was very knowledgeable. I did notice that some of the lenses in the phoropter were dusty/cloudy so I’m not confident that my prescription is 100% accurate. Once I got the prescription and was looking at frames and add-ons, I was greeted nicely but left largely to my own devices to figure out a kind of frame that would fit my face and what transition vs. progressive vs. sync lenses were. It should’ve been clear to the staff that I’ve never owned a pair of glasses and that I would need some extra guidance. Selection was good enough though and insurance covered the exam with a 20$ copay. Ended up buying frames and lenses from a competitor.

The young woman who was at the front desk was kind of gruff and rude. I had a question about the form she asked me to fill out and she barely looked at me when she replied. She was kind of short with me and a little unpleasant. It seemed like she didn't want to be there. I have spoken with her on the phone before, too, and she was kind of short with me then also. I'm used to dealing with the older woman who is usually there when I come for an appointment. She is more friendly and much more pleasant to deal with. The doctors are great. I have always had pleasant interactions with all of the doctors I have seen here. They are very personable and professional. I like the service from the manager and other optical staff as well.

I have been going to this place for years! I would not go anywhere else. I have not one bad thing to say about them. I first went because they sell Oakley prescription frames which is what I like. When I was in middle school I felt embarrassed to wear glasses but having Oakleys made that feeling almost disappear. Now I am a parent but if my kid needs glasses I will make sure he gets a pair that he feels cool in. These guys carry a bunch of the Oakley frames so we will go here for glasses until they don’t carry them anymore. Oakleys are the most comfortable by the way which is why I continued buying them as an adult.

I didn’t even have an appointment this day, I went in to get a temporary pair of contacts, but my prescription was expired. The staff was SUPER helpful and got me in the same day so I could have temporary contacts, and they were able to ship more to my house. All super kind, friendly, and thorough!

I have been seeing Dr. Blasco for, oh, 30+ years and never ever been disappointed. The Eye Care team have each been friendly, helpful and efficient. The office is always clean, neat and full of the latest eye care products to look over; and they even have my favorite news channel on the TV. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

Not enough information is given to the customer regarding how benefits apply to exams and materials. Further more, all eyeglass frames were more than what my benefits provided for. There is no reason for that other than trying to get more money out of the customer. I was deeply offended by Mark Evans false graciousness. It was obvious his politeness was spiteful.

I came to this office thanks to family members coming here. I feel confident in their care and treatment.

I rescheduled my appointment to June 4 due to Covid. The field vision tech was not in so my appointment stopped. Rescheduled to June 18th only to learn my doctor was switched. Had to reschedule again. They tried to reschedule me with the doctor I did not want. Waiting another 2 weeks to have an appointment.

I felt like I was being rushed and an inconvenience. I had to get up and move from one room to another 7 times. I was in the initial eye exam room twice, in the main exam room twice, the waiting room once in-between and the contact changing station once. The Dr. was rushing from room to room and I don't know why. The Dr. didn't even know why I was there, it's an appointment your staff made for me, I shouldn't have to explain why they made the appointment. If he would have just mentioned, I'm really overbooked, we're short some staff, or I'm trying to get done early to start my 3 day weekend", I would've completely understood. Sometimes shi* happens, I get it. I'm pretty cool with any type of service I get as long as I'm given a heads up, I don't want to feel like I'm an inconvenience.

The wait time was good and care was good for the most part. The doctor said he wanted me to do a contact fit, even though I was getting the same contacts I had previously worn and do not have problems with. I could hear the nurses questioning why he would have me do a fitting, since I already wear that brand. After they were already in my eyes, they told me it would be $60 for the fitting and my insurance company didn't cover it, so it would come out of the budget I'm allotted for contacts. I wish I would have known before that there was a $60 charge not covered by insurance, because I already knew those contacts fit. So they basically charged me $60 for 2 daily contacts and 2 minutes of the doctor's time. Will not be back because of this. The rest of my experiences here have been fine.

I was having terrible eye pain and a walk in clinic had already dismissed it as an eyelash but the pain kept getting worse. I called your office and was seen within a few hours and discovered that a chunk of my cornea was missing which was causing the pain. A contact was placed in my eye which has offered much relief and I go back tomorrow to see how much progress I am making. Thank you for getting me in so quickly and getting to the bottom of the problem!!

The 2 testing rooms are so crowded with machines and furniture that it was quite difficult to get safely in and out of them for someone with mobility issues. The cost of purchasing new glasses here for someone whose insurance does not cover it is becoming prohibitive.

This was the first time that I've been briefed on what the doctor is looking at in my eyes while my pupils were dilated. Personally, I'm just curious and like knowing what's going on so the explanation with the little model is a good idea in my opinion. However, it would make way more sense to do this prior to being dilated as I couldn't even see the model eye he was referencing the entire time.

Love the staff and physicians. However, you could really use some process improvement. I had to get up and go be seated in various different places 6 times. I was there for 90 minutes! It's always a rush -- in this room, go wait -- in this room, go wait -- in this room, etc. It's like this every time we visit. We have 3 family members who have gone here for years. Perhaps stop overloading the schedule? I know your place is small, but the up and down and back and forth really dampens the patient experience.
